When Attorney General William Barr wanted to defend a decision that thousands of the Department of Justice alumni called indefensible, he knew just the reporter to turn to. Catherine Herridge has a long history on the justice beat. She also possesses one of the rarer attributes in TV journalism: a massive mainstream platform, serving now as CBS’s senior investigative correspondent. And she has reporting roots at the nation’s leading conservative media outlet, having made the jump late last year from Fox News, where she served for 20 years. So when Barr announced he would drop charges against former National Security

FTA: "Herridge has also occasionally shaken up the normal course of business at CBS News, which has a reputation for by-the-book, no-nonsense reporting without a hint of bias." "no-nonsense reporting without a hint of bias", ....are you kidding me?!!!

Still think 96% of 'journ-o-listers' don't need to be assembled along with a rope and a lamp post or tree?

If a news organization has to tell the public they're not biased, they're probably biased.

Cubs wouldn’t know a brilliant journalist if she knocked them down. She will never be appreciated

Only a neocommunist fecesfest like the Daily Beast would say with a straight face that CBS ever had no-nonsense reporting without a hint of bias.' You know you can say that, propagandists, but reality and the facts point in the opposite direction.

When she would come on Fox, Mrs C and I would joke, "Ooh this is serious. They brought out the old chick with the short hair."

Dan Rather is probably rolling in his grave over this new CBS reporter.
Oh, Dan is still alive? Who knew?

Catherine has never been political. I think CBS hired her to keep her quiet. She was the voice of integrity on Fox I miss her reporting on Fox. CBS will keep her hidden.

FTA:"...Herridge made news again. As acting Director of National Intelligence Ric Grenell prepared to release the names of those officials who had asked to identify Flynn back when he was an unknown subject of a U.S. government surveillance operation, the list found its way to Herridge first.
“Wonder how she got it,” one Democratic campaign operative remarked, with unstated but overflowing snark..." Catherine Herridge's By-Line is something that See B.S. cannot handle. Her Honest brand of reporting escapes them, and their normal DNC Propaganda machine garbage. I hope she got one hellofva Raise from those idiots..

Oh my goodness, #10 there is so much truth to that!! She was a serious journalist not interested in watching herself on the monitor.
As smart as she is, I can’t understand why she thought her serious gifts would be appreciated at SEEBS. I understand the MSM contracts are terrific financially, but you will dance to their tune or you will pay the price. Its why the very talented Michelle Malkin and Sheryl Atkisson went another route so they can do meaningful journalism.

Soft ball questions, leading questions....isn't that the hallmark of CBS and the rest of them? Are they now critizing what they do themselves 24/7?

Herridge is smart, fearless, well-informed, and non-ideological. I can't believe she has a job with CBS. I wish her a long and prosperous career. Would that the MSM had more (or any) reporters like her.
