Nancy Pelosi’s $3 trillion coronavirus
‘relief’ bill is purely a political stunt

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi is happy to play rank politics with the federal coronavirus response. Exhibit A is the absurd $3 trillion “relief” bill she’s set for floor vote on Friday. It’s the first emergency bill written by one party with zero input from the other. Some Dems say it’s just an “opening bid,” but why waste time crafting 1,800 pages of legislation full of poison pills for the opposition? It seems Pelosi thinks virtue-signaling to her base is worth the trouble. The bill is packed with junk that has nothing to do with the pandemic or the economic chaos the response to it has created.

Three trillion, an amount about equal to the full economy when it is running, where will you get that? Pesky Republicans want to know. Oh, yes, Pelosi and her cabal know the power of the printing press. Didn't it work in Germany in the 1920s, in Argentina in the '60s, in the USA in the 70s? Well, no, it didn't, but this time it will be done right.

The Pelosi bill is mostly a hot steaming pile that would use money to support the Democrat agenda and do next to nothing for the people put out of work by the lockdown. It is designed to do economic damage to the country.

Pelosi's Flying Monkeys will dutifully vote for it and after President Trump stops laughing he will veto it. There is no existing emergency and we will not stand for this old hag pushing her weight around. Yes, there are people among us who think that the democrats spending money as fast as the US Mint can print it is perfectly good government.

Of course it's a political stunt...the boobs love stunts. And this three TRILLION dollar Christmas tree is simply the starting point for the next CARES bill that becomes a giant bucket of lard to be spread around. Since it's imaginary money, what's the big whoop. There's even more government cheese in there for the little guy to nibble. Never let a crisis go to waste, and the UNIPARTY is not wasting any of this one. As Mitch will eventually say at the bill signing in the Rose Garden...it was the best we could do.

Looks like Pelosi's three trillion dollar vote buying fund won't see the inside of her and her anti-american minions' wallet. Too bad. You know, in the world of irony, isn't it a knee-slapper that the most virulent haters of our country are the ones who call themselves "democrats"? Oh, and while I'm on the subject of irony, I don't want to forget the CDC. I know that the "D" supposedly stands for "disease". It should probably be changed to "P" standing for "people" because we are the ones they strive to control. Or, perhaps it should be a "g" standing for government. And, while I am on the subject, why do so many scientists disagree about the value of masks?

Obama and Me: How I

I've been writing about "Obama the bad guy" for many years. I was the first to name former President Barack Obama the head of the Obama crime family. I coined the phrase "Obamagate" to describe his reign of crimes against candidate and then President Donald J. Trump. Obama's public persona was always a scam. I knew the real Obama -- way before anyone else caught on. Take the Slate magazine column published days ago by a liberal hack and Obama apologist. He sounded the usual liberal talking points: There is no Obamagate. There is no scandal. It's a conservative conspiracy.

The daily news about the novel coronavirus is bad. Every day, we are told that the pandemic is out of control and that there is no end in sight. We read that the number of new cases is rising, deaths are climbing, and the United States has by far the most deaths of any country in the world. The economy is collapsing, unemployment is spiking, and a depression is coming. But experts warn us that reopening the economy will just mean more suffering and death. It is true that the pandemic's toll on our health and economic well-being has been devastating.

Let’s talk about John Brennan a bit. You remember John Brennan. He was Barack Obama’s director of the CIA. Once upon a time, he was an enthusiast for Gus Hall, the Communist candidate for president, for whom he voted in 1976. I can’t think of any better background for the head of the country’s premier intelligence service under Obama. In 2014, having put childish things behind him as St. Paul advised, Brennan spied on the Senate Intelligence Committee. He denied it indignantly. “Nothing could be further from the truth. We wouldn’t do that. That’s just beyond the scope of reason in terms of what we’d do.” But that was before

The American mainstream media has expended great effort in the past two weeks to convince people that the scandal now known as Obamagate is either a diversion or a conspiracy theory, neither of which is true. Most of the coverage has taken the form of a tantrum, like the one exhibited by CNN’s Brian “Poppin’ Fresh” Stelter last week: CNN’s “Reliable Sources” anchor Brian Stelter criticized conservative news outlets for their “obsession” over the new revelations regarding the Russia election interference investigations and the Department of Justice dropping its case against retired Lt. Gen. Michael Flynn. Stelter said the outlets should be more focused

By March 14, London Breed, the mayor of San Francisco, had seen enough. For weeks, she and her health officials had looked at data showing the evolving threat of COVID-19. In response, she’d issued a series of orders limiting the size of public gatherings, each one feeling more arbitrary than the last. She’d been persuaded that her city’s considerable and highly regarded health care system might be insufficient for the looming onslaught of infection and death. “We need to shut this s*** down,” Breed remembered thinking. Three days later in New York, Mayor Bill de Blasio was thinking much the same thing. He’d been publicly savaged

Democrats and their puppets in the media — once fierce critics of US law enforcement and spying agencies — have suddenly become their biggest champions, at least when the issue is these agencies’ targeting of Team Trump. Newly released documents in the case of former National Security Adviser Michael Flynn add to mounting evidence of what seem like serious, politically motivated abuses by the FBI and Justice Department. And liberals are cheering the abuse. Even columnists at the once anti-cop, anti-FBI New York Times are now solemnly lauding the bureau as “the nation’s premier law enforcement agency.”

In light of Judge Sullivan’s bizarre orders in the Flynn prosecution, there is talk about the possibility of filing a petition with the court of appeals seeking to have it pull the plug on the Flynn proceedings. However, I don’t think the D.C. Circuit would grant such a petition, and I question whether, at this stage, it should. The problem is that Sullivan hasn’t ruled one way or the other on the government’s motion to dismiss the case against Gen. Flynn. Technically, all he has done is ask for briefing from outside parties on the question of whether he should grant the motion. Sullivan shouldn’t have asked for outside help.

There’s a weird cognitive dissonance happening right now that is as revealing as it is alarming. Just as we learn more details about all the ways Barack Obama and his henchmen weaponized powerful federal agencies to punish Donald Trump, Americans, oddly, are surrendering their own power to the same type of god-like government authorities under the guise of the common good. “Of all tyrannies, a tyranny sincerely exercised for the good of its victims may be the most oppressive,” C.S.
