Don’t expect to see Rory McIlroy on the golf course any time soon with President Donald Trump. McIlroy, the top-ranked golfer in the world, appeared Thursday on the McKellar Podcast. The 31-year-old McIlroy teed off on Trump and his leadership amid the coronavirus pandemic. "We’re in the midst of something that’s pretty serious right now and the fact that he’s trying to politicize it and make it a campaign rally and say we’re administering the most tests in world like it is a contest — there’s something that just is terrible,’’ McIlroy said, per the New York Post. “It’s not the way a leader should act.

Athletes are like celebrities who think they are smarter than everyone else and therefore must weigh in on every matter. Rory is a good golfer but is a fool for speaking out, especially since he is a guest in our country. If he becomes a citizen, he can speak out, but until then he needs to shut up.

I'm very disappointed that he entered the political arena. I was looking forward to watching him golf on tv at the Colonial but not anymore. He should also know better than to criticize the leader of the country where he is a guest. That's called manners and class. Note to all athletes - please keep your political views to yourselves. We are not interested in them - the same goes for Hollywood.

I could not tell you why, however there was something about him that rubbed me the wrong way. Now I know why!!!! Furthermore, you are in Trumps world, as he owns some of the finest golf resorts in the world. Most of the recognized pro golfers love the President as one of there own. Trump has repeatedly drawn attention to the issue even as his own administration has warned of a concerted Russian effort to denigrate Biden and asserted that a Ukrainian lawmaker who is involved in spreading anti-Biden claims is an “active Russian agent.”

I’m probably second to none in my dislike for Meghan Markle. There’s something unattractive about a mature woman marrying into the British Royal family with one of the world’s most expensive weddings, hanging out with the Queen, living in insane luxury…and then whining non-stop about the horror of her life. There’s something even less appealing when that woman accuses the Royal family of race hatred. And the problem is that, when it comes to that left-wing diva, Meghan Markle, it’s hard to believe most of what she says. After weeks of hype, CBS finally televised Meghan Markle and Prince Harry’s interview with Oprah.
