Christopher Steele told a longtime aide to John McCain in 2016 that he believed Michael Flynn was having an extramarital affair with a Russian woman, showing for the first time that the former British spy peddled an unsubstantiated rumor that later appeared in the media and made its way to the FBI.
Steele shared the allegation with David Kramer, a longtime associate of McCain’s, according to a transcript of Kramer’s House Intelligence Committee testimony released Thursday.

And I'm sure the aide told McCain who in turn quickly told anyone he could.

Thank God McCain never was elected president. He was a bigger idiot than Biden. At least Biden is good at lying. McCain was never good at anything. He failed his way to the top of the Senate.

Cripes, this all sounds like a DC Swamp version of Mean Girls or a mid-day soap opera.
If I tried to write a novel with all these machinations, no publisher would accept it ... too far fetched! But we're living it right now.
Well, except for McCain. And I'll let the Guy at a higher pay grade than me deal with that.

McCain went to the FBI, instead of calling Trump, and simply asking Trump about it. That shows what a backstabbing lout McCain was.

I am perhaps lacking in character to desire the truth to come out about this guy, dead and buried or not. The real tell all biography of John McCain should be written. It needs to be written.

McCain went to his death, went to meet his true and only Judge, with hatred and bitterness and vengeance in his heart, to the point of making sure to announce to the world that President Trump wasn't to be invited (!) to his funeral, and the President had made sure that everything the McCain family asked for they were to get.
McCain's military service, his surviving the horrors of a vicious prisoner of war camp, whatever he had of moral strength or character or fatherhood, all of that dissipated as he shriveled down into a bitter, old, nasty little man.
