Justice Samuel Alito this week ordered the Pennsylvania government to respond to arguments from a variety of Pennsylvanians asking the Supreme Court to halt enforcement of Gov. Tom Wolf's strict stay-at-home order, aimed at fighting the coronavirus, because they say it is unconstitutional. The Pennsylvanians behind the suit [snip] are arguing that their rights under the First, Fifth and 14th Amendments have been violated through Wolf's order. [snip] Alito, who handles emergency requests such as this one for the Third Circuit, which encompasses Pennsylvania, found those arguments convincing enough to order that Pennsylvania respond with a defense of Wolf's order by Monday.

The Wolf administration is recommending that Pennsylvanians self-quarantine if they have traveled or plan to travel to 15 states where coronavirus cases are on the rise. Officials said Thursday that people should stay at home for 14 days when they return to Pennsylvania. The quarantine is recommended after travel to the following states: Alabama, Arizona, Arkansas, California, Florida, Georgia, Idaho, Louisiana, Mississippi, Nevada, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Utah.
Pennsylvania Gov. Tom Wolf issued a warning Monday about the consequences for counties and businesses that plan to reopen in defiance of his shutdown order. [snip]
• Counties will not be eligible for federal stimulus discretionary funds the state receives and intends to provide to counties with populations of fewer than 500,000.

Gov. Tom Wolf has ordered all non-life-sustaining businesses in Pennsylvania to close their physical locations to slow the spread of the coronavirus.The deadline to shut down is 8 p.m. Thursday.
Wolf said enforcement actions against businesses that do not comply with the order will begin at 12:01 a.m. Saturday.

I’m probably second to none in my dislike for Meghan Markle. The millions of Americans who were paying attention throughout the 2020 election campaign all became painfully aware of the fact that Joe Biden’s cognitive abilities were slipping and slipping fast. His wife, as the person closest to him, should have been the one to call the campaign quits in order to reduce stress on the man.
Instead, apparently so anxious to become the First Lady by any means necessary, Mrs. Biden continued to push her failing husband’s campaign forward as if he were mentally qualified.

There have been repeated calls by delegates and state senators for transparency in decisions to close particular classes of businesses - from what I understand, to know avail - but this is the first I have seen of a complaint at this level.
