The Mesa City, Ariz., Police Department has launched a homicide investigation into the death of Gary Lenius, the man whose wife gave him a drink laced with fish tank cleaner allegedly to ward off COVID-19. The investigation, which was confirmed by the Washington Free Beacon, is being handled by Det. Teresa Van Galder, who could not provide any details at the moment because it’s an active case. The news site also reported that it provided a recording of its interview with Wanda Lenius, 61, from March. You may recall the story. Gary Lenius, 68, died March 22 after ingesting a substance that is used to clean fish tanks.

We called it homicide right here on this forum from the very start. After blaming Trump for this man’s death on the front page, the NYT will mention this with a line on page C18.

Well in a good detective tv show there is probably a $1million dollar life insurance policy on dead hubby with his darling little wife as the beneficiary. But that’s just a guess.

These days the leftist and liberal Democrats and their liberal media cohorts are making American look bad around the world and are not worth a pot to pee in. Since this invasion of the Wuhan corona virus started and because recognized as a real threat President Trump, along with his economic and scientific advisors have been in the White House everyday attempting to manage the ensuing national crisis, while the congressional Democrats essentially evacuated DC, ran home to hide in their basements, like Pelosi with $24,000.00 freezers full of premium ice cream, from there they, along with their liberal media minions, take cheap shots at the President using vague allegations that when looked into are found to be ridiculous contentions. At first the liberal media hyped up a toilet paper panic to where some hoarders now have a three year supply of toilet paper at home, with other people who are in actual need cannot find even a couple of rolls of toilet paper to purchase in retail stores, and are now moving on to hype up a meat panic, a possibility that Trump is looking to short circuit by use of the law, to keep the meat processing plants open as essential businesses and announcing that the Federal Government will supply effective personal protective equipment to the meat packing workers so that they can work safely. Some Democrats are opposing that executive action as they want to keep the US economy shutdown believing that a shutdown economy will hurt Trump’s chances of being re-elected in the November election.

The story implied that her husband drank the water with the fish tank clean because it had chloroquine in it, as though it was his idea. But, that is the wife's story. Maybe she talked him into it using logic about the chloroquine PO4. He may not have even had time to think it over. She may have mixed it up as though it would keep him healthy. I do not believe anything this woman has claimed.

More Americans are turning to hunting during the coronavirus pandemic — and amid fears of nationwide food shortages after meat plants were forced to halt operations over outbreaks. “People are starting to consider self-reliance and where their food comes from,” Hank Forester of Quality Deer Management Association said, adding that he believes there will be a hunting resurgence over empty grocery store shelves. Outbreaks have recently caused at least three major meat producers — Tyson Foods, JBS USA and Smithfield Foods — to shutter more than a dozen plants across the nation. Meanwhile, some states have seen a jump in hunting licenses — including Indiana,

The astonishing footage shot in the city of Samsun was reposted to Twitter by Ragip Soylu, a reporter based in Turkey. The video, as of Sunday night, has been viewed nearly 2.5 million times. “Flock of sheep invades Turkey’s city of Samsun last night during the coronavirus lockdown,” wrote Soylu. The majority of sheep can be seen moving in the road at varying speeds. But some of the animals were spotted grazing in an adjacent city greenspace.

The COVID-19 pandemic is exposing what many have known for decades: Our education system is broken. But the situation also presents us with a silver lining: the opportunity to uncover the damaging influences and restore education. While millions of families are suddenly home schooling, it’s important to know that when our schools were elite and the envy of the world, we were a nation of home-schoolers and small, private, and independent schools. What happened? Government and labor unions intruded, claiming families and educators needed them. But do we? Theressah and Victor Ramirez say, “Absolutely not!” The Ramirez’s live with their two sons in a low-income, immigrant neighborhood in San Diego, California.

No one has ever wanted to be vice president as much as Stacey Abrams. The Georgia Democrat, best known for her failed gubernatorial candidacy in 2018, has launched a full-fledged campaign for the vice presidency in recent weeks, telling every news channel that will book her why she thinks she’s cut out for the job. And in doing so, Abrams has proved why she’s not. Abrams’s media tour began back in February when Joe Biden, the presumptive Democratic nominee, first mentioned his campaign was looking at Abrams. When asked if she’d want the job, Abrams didn’t shy away. “Of course, I want it,” she said at the time.

A lawyer for former national security adviser Michael Flynn questioned special counsel Robert Mueller’s mental acuity as Flynn’s legal team seeks to dismiss the charges against him. “It seems like some neurological problem has evolved there for Mr. Mueller. I don’t know how soon that started. Ultimately, he is responsible for all of this because he was supervising the investigation,” Sidney Powell told John Catsimatidis on The Cats Roundtable radio show on Sunday. Flynn, who served as President Trump’s national security adviser for less than a month, pleaded guilty in 2017 to lying to the FBI about his conversations with a Russian diplomat before Trump entered the White House.

When Abraham Lincoln issued his Emancipation Proclamation he was criticized by abolitionists for not issuing a more sweeping order. Would I not thus give up all footing upon constitution or law? Would I not thus be in the boundless field of absolutism? When the postmortem is done on the media’s coverage of COVID-19 (and it will be), it will be clear that the virus was no Black Plague — it’s not even the flu on a bad year. SARS-CoV-2, which causes COVID-19, has killed 56,749 Americans as of Tuesday. That’s not good. But it’s not as bad as the 2017-2018 flu season, when 80,000 -plus perished. And it’s a long cry from what all the experts were warning about just a few weeks ago: First, they predicted 1.7 million Americans dead; then they redid the models (this time apparently entering a few more “facts”) and said 100,000-240,000 dead.
