On April 7, Bill Weir, CNN’s Chief Climate Correspondent, had a son. Weir wrote an open letter to his son telling him that he was born into Hell on Earth, also known as the modern Western world. The letter perfectly encapsulates everything the left hates and wants to see destroyed.
Below, in italics, are my summaries of many of Weir’s pronouncements, followed by countervailing information.
Climate change is making nightingales have shorter wings, so they’re all going to die because they can’t migrate. First, the study, after noting some nightingales have shorter wings, makes an evidence-free leap to blaming climate change. Second, “[w]hile the British population of nightingales has been declining

Maybe his son will read the Bible and reject the doctrine of his Gaia worshipping father. Then he can live a happy and fulfilled life instead of a pessimistic life of false guilt.

Oh, wah, wah, Bill. If you really thought it was that bad of a world, then it was pretty irresponsible of you to bring a kid into it. Also, I read your Wiki page and I know why you hate God. But, He still loves you.

Please, please, please stop calling them "Journalists." They wouldn't know what a real journalist is if he/she hit them right between the eyes.
These are propaganda agendists hell bent on making a name for themselves and trying to impress people to get a better job. I know from what I speak; I am a recovering newsman, not a 'journalist."

The fact is if you are a believer in global warming caused by humans, you are just plain stupid.

That a modern man wrote this to his son speaks volumes.

Another "journalism" major with no functioning reasoning abilities. No wonder these people hate Trump. They live in a hell manufactured from their "feelings", their ignorance, and they feed off each other. I would not want to wake up each morning with this poor fool's mindset.

Liberals are good at worrying about non-existent problems. Real problems like broken families, bad schools, drug addiction, government abuse, and moral rot are of no interest to them. Probably because their philosophy has caused them.

Just another virtue-signalling narcissist. Why did he even have a son, if he really believes all his prophecy? Because he doesn't believe it-he does want to make a living, and selling guilt to liberals is pretty profitable!

When my grandparents put their children to bed in the 30's they assured them that everything was going to be OK, they prayed with them and reassured them. They had the depression to contend with and the looming WWII. When my great-grandparents put their children to be, same thing, different real world danger, WWI. When we faced very real certain danger we did our best to insulate the children.
But now when we tuck our children in for the night the parents tell them that there are monsters under the bed. It is flat out child abuse to tell your young teen that they must save the world from certain incineration in 12 years.

That CNN guy has really figured it out.
I've noticed that most people over 90 are a lot shorter than they used to be. It's got to be because of the devastating effects of climate change.
If we don't ban fossil fuels - - RIGHT NOW! - - we will all become lilliputians!

My first grandchild was born on March 18 and I was not allowed to be in the hospital for his birth due to CV19 precautions. He was born in the middle of a lot of chaos and insecurity but I have told him repeatedly how lucky he is to have been born in the best and most free country in the history of all mankind. His 30 year old parents have not been sucked into any of the left wing nonsense whether it’s “climate change” or “transexualty” or any of the other insanity, and they are church-attending Christians so he is doubly blessed and will grow up knowing how fortunate he truly is.
BTW, we should all pray for Weir’s son - he is going to need it.

Weir looks at life with his right eye closed, metaphorically speaking. So he can't see both sides of anything and has no depth of vision. Andrea demonstrates this by taking his points one at a time and systematically showing that each has another aspect that mitigates, offsets, or even overcomes its worry.
Among the news media (reporters / journalists / editors) it seems two-thirds close their right eye whenever they look at something, and the other one-third look at everything with their left eye closed. What would the world be like if we all looked with both eyes open? And would any of us be interested in following news that didn't over-emphasize one side or the other? Would our cultural motivation die if that dialectic ever resolved into a cohesive whole?

Getting a look inside Bill Weir’s head is like having the worst possible nightmare. When his son gets old enough, he should ask him why he would bring a child into a world that is “hell on earth.” This seems like a truly hateful thing to do.

These people, the weak minded, brain washed scum of the communist party belong in a freakin mental institution. This moron is worried more about a freakin nightingale having shorter wings than getting a real life and helping his son. A pathetic piece of garbage. Got it.

#3 I think Vladimir Lenin had the perfect term for these “journalists. Leno called them “useful idiots”. Ignorant fools that ardently support crackpot ideas because they believe they know what is best for everybody.

How sad to be such deranged, hateful, disinformed, misinformed fools. They invent their own imaginary hell, while the rest of us live in the pleasant, comfortable, stable world where none of his horror show fantasies is actually happening or going to happen.
They are really deranged, and somehow prefer to live a life of fear, hate and distrust - which is entirely imaginary.

FTA Climate change will drown the expensive waterfront neighborhood in which Weir lives. Weir doesn't believe that. If he did, he wouldn't have bought waterfront property. The Obamas wouldn't have, either.
And Bill and Melinda Gates just bought a large ocean front property in San Diego.
