Dr. Deborah Birx said she was concerned about some of the 'slicey and dicey' headlines she's read and said Sunday that she doesn't think President Trump's musing about injecting disinfectant to treat the coronavirus should be in the news anymore. Birx, a member of the president's coronavirus taskforce, was asked by CNN's Jake Tapper about comments Trump made at his Thursday press briefing and whether they bothered her as a medical professional. 'Well, I think it bothers me that this is still in the news cycle,' Birx replied.

Not "slicey dicey", but lies, lies, lies.

The MSM is so petty and stupid. I watched the video, and Trump is using the term "disinfectant" in a broad manner. This is analogous to so.eone using the term "chemotherapy" in a broad. We tend to think of "chemotherapy" as cancer treatment. But it can also be used when talking about antibiotics. In other words, being treated with an antibiotic is chemotherapy.

We know if there is no news, they make news up. And for our sadist media, since the victim called an end to the daily beat up the President meetings, they have plenty of time on their hands. It's not like they have a REAL JOB.
The MSM is "non-essential."

The press reports stupid people inject disinfectants. Do you think these stupid people were tuned in to the press conference taking advice from the president or were these stupid people take advice from the press misreporting what the president said?

i listened to his comments - he suffers from being really bright and thinking out loud.
what he was pondering was a topical application of something that might work in the lungs. I'm guessing it would be like an asthma inhaler, which is a topical application of medication to the airways in the lungs.
Using UV has been around for a long time, on acne, and on psoriasis.
his question, while incomplete, was rational.

I understood what he meant and so did Dr. Birx. Pity the press is so stupid

I think a lot of people have been increasing their internal intake of ethyl alcohol lately to disinfect their minds from the fake news press nonsense. Maybe they should start looking more closely at the Tara Reade story or what John Durham is planning in the next few weeks.

The “liberal” press is not so stupid as it is malevolent. The mystery is, why are they? What did PDTrump ever do to them? They were the same with Regan, Nixon and Bush, but were just getting warmed up, it seems.

#5, Healight is a thing (Cedars-Sinai development going to public via AYTU: see link) and there is work on inhaled ethanol vapors, among other approaches, to see what works on the KungFlu virus. The press: ignorant haters is the most accurate yet charitable term I can use to describe them.

He was looking at Dr. Birx and the others on the Coronavirus staff when he said it; not at the idiots in the press area. It was like he was trying to ignore the press when he commented on it.

Dr. Birx is supposedly very smart but I wonder. After being in all these briefings and seeing the hostility, aggression, and outright hatred of our President up close, she still thinks they are not out to get him 24/7. Disappointing.

Since only really stupid people would attempt or even think of ingesting disinfectant, I'm assuming these people are all democrats.

Here is what she said:
"'I think the media is very slicey and dicey about how they put sentences together in order to create headlines,' she replied.
She talked about how studies show that some people only read headlines and don't click into news stories - and sometimes stop reading if there's not a graphic.
'I think often the reporting may be accurate in paragraph three, four and five but I'm not sure how many people actually get to paragraph three, four and five,' she said. 'And I think the responsibility that the press has is to really ensure that the headlines reflect that science and data that is in their piece itself,' she said.
Talking about how they “slice and dice” what is said to make a clickbait, often erroneous, impression of what was actually said. She meant exactly what she said.
And she’s right about readers. Few get past the headlines. Insufficient interest or energy...

Their Mission Statement requires them to not report any good news about Trump. Hence, that leaves only their idiotic and dishonest reporting. Really stupid people populating the left media. I mean, come on, they think Hillary and Joe are fantastic!

Meanwhile we can read about Cedars-Sinai’s interest in something called a “Healight”. For coronavirus and other respiratory diseases…..
The research team at Cedars-Sinai is currently working with the FDA to explore an expedited regulatory process to use the treatment as a possible medical intervention for those suffering from the Wuhan coronavirus.
(Via AP)
[Aytu BioScience, Inc. (the “Company”)], a specialty pharmaceutical company focused on commercializing novel products that address significant patient needs announced today that it has signed an exclusive worldwide license from Cedars-Sinai to develop and commercialize the Healight Platform Technology (“Healight”). This medical device technology platform, discovered and developed by scientists at Cedars-Sinai, is being studied as a potential first-in-class treatment for coronavirus and other respiratory infections.
The Healight technology employs proprietary methods of administering intermittent ultraviolet (UV) A light via a novel endotracheal medical device. Pre-clinical findings indicate the technology’s significant impact on eradicating a wide range of viruses and bacteria, inclusive of coronavirus.
