RUSH: Now, another controversy that sprung up out there that happens--I don’t know--at least once a week. The Drive-By Media is attempting to persuade and convince people that Donald Trump told people to drink Drano at the White House press briefing yesterday. That Donald Trump told people to go out and get a syringe and inject Clorox in their arms, and that this could be dangerous, that Donald Trump is killing people now in the White House press briefing. There was a reporter from the Washington Post in the briefing.

What President Trump said had to do with ultraviolet light or a very powerful light going to be tested, and pondered whether or not that light could be brought inside the body through the skin or some other way--which is going to be tested. He referred to being aware of a disinfectant knocking out the coronavirus in a minute and asked if there might be a way, through internal injection, to use “something like that” as a means of destroying the coronavirus. Any sensible person would understand “something like that” as being a medically approved agent and not Clorox or Lysol--consider the chemicals used for chemotherapy as “cleaning agents” trying to rid a human body of deadly cancer. The ignorance, stupidity, mean-spiritedness, and outright hatred of anti-Trumpers know no bounds. It is shameful and disgusting, as well as sinful.

The lying pukes on ABC radio news earlier today literally said "...the President recommended injecting disinfectants..."
Filthy liars, as usual.

Some media talking heads who have run out of things to say, like what Fox News Channel’s Neil Cavoto just did, are trying to create anti-Trump controversy by taking the President’s remarks out of context and rambling on about the President insinuating or misleading people into thinking about drinking disinfectants that are poisonous, something that the President never said. What the President mentioned to the medical scientists at his corona virus briefing referred to possible future research and not people across America drinking bleach or disinfectants. Just more fake news.

Just like when POTUS didn't tell everyone to use Fish Tank Cleaner to cure the Wuhan Flu. The MSM took it and ran with it blaming him for the poor soul who was poisoned by his wife.

Actually, a friend works in the operating room at one of the hospitals here in Tampa Bay and says that there are many occasions when medicines that kill diseases, call them antibiotics, are pumped into the lungs. So, the President is NOT entirely incorrect on this matter and just that his choice of words describing it made it sound stupid, but it is NOT stupid at all. And those who will make fun of what he says are all more successful in life and their career choices than he is? How many of those criticizing him will ever be President?

Isn't it ironic that the same people who are pummeling President Trump about injecting things in their body, which he didn't actually say, have no problem getting Botulism, aka Botox, injected in their faces to hide their wrinkles???

Let's face it....Trump talking about this out loud as he figures it all out wasn't helpful.
It was stupid and hurtful.....especially considering he should know by now that the LeftMedia will distort and twist out of context everything he says.
But the LeftMedia WAS ABSOLUTELY DISGRACEFUL
They played it as though Trump was telling thr profoundly stupid American public to ingest Lysol and mainline IV Drano. It was disgusting. Worse than the fish bowl cleaner crap.
Meanwhile, Chris Cuomo's wife can publicly expound on the benefits of a Clorox bath to ward off Coronavirus, and the same LeftMedia find it not newsworthy.

A few short weeks ago as Pres. was offering encouraging news of the hydroxychloraquin successes there was 24/7 coverage of a 'frightened' couple who took fish tank cleaner to keep the virus at bay. The devil - Trump - made them do it! The man died, woman survived it. It could not be repeated or screeched often enough that this was ALL Trump's doing for cheerleading the new treatment actually giving relief without consensus of all the talking heads and celebrity health docs. And of course, anything positive must not be attributed to him, not even a sunny day! Last tidbit I read was the weak mental state of that woman & the possibility that she may have poisoned her husband intentionally. Iranians drank rubbing alcohol; others tried camel urine. If the weak minded and liberal minds are so influenced to try any idiotic notion of a potion, who are we to stand in their way?

The President is not the most eloquent speaker in the world and EVERYBODY knows it, but the Left always uses the way he speaks against him. They twist his words, take them out of context and place their own meaning into his speeches. I would say that 99% of the population really do KNOW what he really means (or would know if they weren't so blindly close-minded about who they THINK he is). I wish he would plan his words out better ahead of time. It would make my job a lot easier.

As Rush said, President Trump was probably briefed on the Healight technology at Cedar-Sinai.
Here is an AP story about the technology:
https://apnews.com/b44f4531071e6204023f7b8e16f59d4b
"Healight technology employs proprietary methods of administering intermittent ultraviolet (UV) A light via a novel endotracheal medical device. Pre-clinical findings indicate the technology’s significant impact on eradicating a wide range of viruses and bacteria, inclusive of coronavirus. The data have been the basis of discussions with the FDA for a near-term path to enable human use for the potential treatment of coronavirus in intubated patients in the intensive care unit (ICU). Beyond the initial pursuit of a coronavirus ICU indication, additional data suggest broader clinical applications for the technology across a range of viral and bacterial pathogens. This includes bacteria implicated in ventilator associated pneumonia (VAP)."

#15- Thankfully, informed people who understand and appreciate President Trump are able to separate fact from fiction spewed by leftist politicians and the mainstream media. This household prefers President Trump’s brilliance and his plain-spoken manner, rather than the eloquence of silver-tongued charlatans.

People have been ingesting germ-and-virus-killing compounds for centuries. Probably the oldest one, which Trump doesn't personally ingest, is ethanol. People who drink dilute ethanol mostly know (outside Iran, where ingesting ethanol is illegal) not to use the related compound methanol. Methanol, also an anti-biotic, is actually less poisonous than ethanol but it is too slowly metabolized and so has unfortunate side effects. In 1939, my life was saved by drinking orange juice containing the anti-bacterial compound sulfanilamide, which had killed over a hundred people the previous year when it was administered in an inappropriate solvent.

TO # 12— I see nothing wrong with bathing in a dilute solution of the anti-viral compound hypochlorous acid (Clorox) as Mrs. Cuomo does. I do it all the time in my swimming pool, as do many others who chlorinate their pools. It is only harmful in more concentrated solutions.
