Dr. Anthony Fauci’s National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID) actually funded a study on Bat Coronavirus, which was a project that included scientists at the Wuhan Institute of Virology, the Chinese lab at the center of controversy over their bat research. That study confirmed in 2018 that humans have died from coronavirus. Here’s an excerpt from the April 4, 2018 NIAID website entry entitled “New Coronavirus Emerges From Bats in China, Devastates Young Swine”: “A newly identified coronavirus that killed nearly 25,000 piglets in 2016-17 in China emerged from horseshoe bats near the origin of the severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus (SARS-CoV), which emerged in 2002 in the same

FTA: The work was a collaboration among scientists from EcoHealth Alliance, Duke-NUS Medical School, Wuhan Institute of Virology and other organizations, and was funded by the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases, part of the National Institutes of Health. The research is published in the journal Nature. The researchers say the finding is an important reminder that identifying new viruses in animals and quickly determining their potential to infect people is a key way to reduce global health threats.” https://www.ecohealthalliance.org

Seems Fauci is too close to subject- and he should recuse himself from being spokesperson.. And - while we are at it- how about a little interrogation to find out to what extent he know what was happening.. when it would happen.. Fauci is as evil as Hillary.

Is there no member of Trump's White House that is aware of any of this? I am tired of the WH virus briefings. China is one sick country in so many ways. Why is Fauci involved in any of this? HIs agency has done nothing to prevent this and other viruses, etc. If anything, it contributed to its development.

I find it a little strange that someone didn't notice that this type of review was against the law in the US. In 2004 research was, by law, ruled improper as it was believed that it was too dangerous. Dr. Fauci went around the law, broke it, by giving China 3.7 million dollars and had them do research on what is now killing people by the thousands. In the west, that lab was known as being loose with their containment standards. Questions need to be answered.

SACRAMENTO — State officials pushed to close all beaches and state parks in California to try to prevent overcrowding they feared could spread the coronavirus, but Gov. Gavin Newsom decided Thursday only to temporarily close beaches in Orange County, an administration official said. Newsom said at a news conference he was ordering a “hard close” in Orange County after beaches in Newport Beach and Huntington Beach drew tens of thousands of visitors during a heat wave last weekend. He said he was particularly concerned about the beach activity because Orange County has more coronavirus cases and hospitalizations than many other areas. “Same reason we are not reopening arenas with tens of

Why did U.S. taxpayers spend $3.7 million to investigate bat coronaviruses in Asia? It's one of the media's mysteries that has endured during the COVID-19 pandemic, spurring plenty of speculation and intrigue. Dr. Anthony Fauci, the nation's chief infectious disease specialist, was the latest to fan the debate when he mentioned the grant during a White House briefing without offering many details. Officials at the National Institutes of Health and Fauci's own division there, the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Disease (NIAID), say there is far less to the story than meets the eye.

The Senate Intelligence Committee may hold confirmation hearings next week for Congressman John Ratcliffe to become the next director of national intelligence. Details of the potential hearing are still in flux as the committee grapples with how to hold a public hearing safely amid the coronavirus pandemic. The confirmation hearing, which typically involves a pair of sessions — one unclassified and public, and a second held behind closed doors — comes at a fraught time for any potential representative of the intelligence community. Ratcliffe will be expected to field questions related to the origins and handling of the COVID-19 pandemic, as well as the U.S.' approach to adversaries like North Korea,

A 2008 column in the far-left magazine CounterPunch accusing Joe Biden of “loutish sexual advances” in the U.S. Senate has become a lightning rod in the debate over Biden and his former staffer Tara Reade’s allegation of sexual assault in 1993. Nine U.S. senators who have gotten buzz as potential picks to be presumptive Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden's running mate were in the Senate in 2018 when Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh's confirmation process was roiled by accusations of sexual assault. They did not hold back in their condemnation of the court pick and in their calls for the accusers' claims to be fully investigated. Now, Biden's presidential campaign also is grappling with a developing accusation of sexual assault from the 1990s -- which aides have adamantly denied. But most of those same senators have not commented on this allegation, or have downplayed it. A woman named Tara Reade previously had accused

The Joe Biden campaign is circulating talking points regarding the sexual assault allegations made by Tara Reade, Buzzfeed reported on Tuesday. While Joe Biden has remained publicly silent about a sexual assault allegation made against him, his presidential campaign has sought to coordinate and unify Democratic messaging on the matter, advising surrogates earlier this month to say that the allegation “did not happen.” … But the messaging shows that while Biden has stayed quiet on the allegations on the eve of his nomination, aides were taking the claims seriously enough behind the scenes to coordinate messaging among other Democrats to try to cast the matter as one that’s been thoroughly vetted and

Sweden has been regularly cited in American media as a country that chose an approach to the Covid-19 pandemic different from that of the U.S. and the European countries. There have been pictures of Swedes crowding into outdoor restaurants, enjoying sunny early spring weather. Streets in central Stockholm have been shown looking “normal,” although the density of shoppers and pedestrians had been exaggerated through tele-lens photography. These news reports seemed to suggest social life little affected by the pandemic, as if Sweden had taken a more relaxed approach to the virus than other countries. Failed gubernatorial candidate Stacey Abrams is what the kids these days call "thirsty AF." For weeks, Abrams has been all but begging former vice president Joe Biden to pick her as a running mate. Abrams, who has repeatedly declared herself the winner of Georgia's 2018 gubernatorial election despite receiving fewer votes than her Republican opponent, has been "privately calling Democratic powerbrokers, asking them to tell Biden campaign officials that she should be vice president."
