The first cases identified of the Wuhan coronavirus may have occurred south of Wuhan in September, a team of scientists led by the University of Cambridge found. The South China Morning Post reported the findings on Thursday.
In a newly published study, which has not been peer-reviewed, researchers investigating the virus’s origin analyzed global viral samples and concluded that the virus must have first infected humans between September 13 and December 7.
“The virus may have mutated into its final ‘human-efficient’ form months ago, but stayed inside a bat or other animal, or even human, for several months without infecting other individuals,” University of Cambridge geneticist Peter Forster

That was too early to cripple PDJT. This panic was, too, but you take what you can get.

I'm not convinced that China didn't deliberately spread that virus to USA. After all, Trump has cost them a fortune with his new trade policies and tariffs. I'm sure the leader of that country must really hate Trump and is delighted to see our country in such financial ruins due to the virus. We can only hope that we have some smart intelligence people checking this out. Meanwhile, our country "burns" while Pelosi fiddles.

I've been asthmatic all my life. A cold is never just a cold for me. It turns into a lung/sinus infection that has me coughing 4-5 months, even with everything my lung specialist can throw at it.
I caught something in mid October. I have never been so sick. They gave me everything, steroids, antibiotics, doubled all my asthma meds. I could not shake it. I got slightly better and then deteriorated quickly. He finally diagnosed me with pneumonia in mid November. I've never had pneumonia. I have never had such a strange feeling under my sternum. An uncontrollable urge to cough and cough hard!
I spent Christmas eve morning in the hospital. I was worse than ever, on oxygen, intravenous steroids, fluids, respiratory therapy. They tested me for the flu it was negative.
I just stopped coughing on Easter Sunday. 7 months every 5 minutes. I've never been so tired in my life. I was exhausted.
I firmly believe I had the Wuhan flu and I bet if they tested me I would come back positive.

sounds like Kung Flu to me, #4. I would suggest that you get tested for Kung Flu antibodies.
DJT, by the way, mentioned that September could have been the starting point, and the reporters must have soiled themselves in their indignation.

I will of course request the test when I see my pulmonary specialist. Right now everyone who has symptoms is being tested not those who have none.
He's a sharp guy, I bet he suspects it is what I and many of his patients had. His nurses said everyone was having the same illness and all at once.
I work at a university. I'm sure that is where I got it.

...to be followed by a warning memo/email/etc. leaked to the media by "well-positioned sources who say or a whistle-blower" claiming to have proof that PDJT knew and did nothing??
This bit of news could be either a valuable piece in the puzzle of the beginnings of COVID-19. Or, become a part of the never-ending trip on the "resistance" road to yet another democrat party/media smear of the president. Keep in mind, neither one the first attempts to claim he was warned early (i.e. Peter Navarro letter and CMI briefing reported by ABC News) turned out to be true.
If a warning memo of some type surfaces, it will fit the media narrative (he knew and did nothing), make the president look bad (erasing all the good he has done) and endanger his re-election (which is all they really want anyway.)
I truly hope my skeptical (yet observant) brain is just working overtime. But then again...

My adult son and I were very ill in September—I gad a cough for over 2 months (and yes, we both had flu shots). My husband got very ill in November. I think we all had this virus, I really do. I had several friends who experienced the same thing. Strange...

This is diversion. Beware of the back-channel disinformation schemes that will pop up in an attempt to take heat off the Chinese viral laboratory in Wuhan. The CCP is relentless and knows the world is turning against them. Check out Epoch Time's Joshua Phillips in "The Origins of the Wuhan Coronavirus." He sites chapter and verse of how research into novel coronaviruses has been going on there for years. Theses things just don't pop out of nowhere, and funny, they always seems to come out of China.

In November, I had something (chest congestion, fever, etc). It is very seldom that I ever get anything. Could I have had the virus????? Once they come up with a home kit, I'll try it.

A friend of mine who lives 1000 miles away calls me frequently. In December 2019 he caught what he called the worst cold he ever had. We were talking yesterday and he thinks he had the Kung Flu virus then
I agree with the poster that is was meant to be unleashed in this year to crash our economy because of the trade war with PDT and his re-election the democrats and their media just love the collapsed economy because they love China and hate us.
