CNN chief White House correspondent Jim Acosta compared President Trump to the infamous Baghdad Bob on Tuesday, saying the president sounds “very Baghdad Bob-like” during coronavirus task force news conferences.
Acosta told CNN’s Wolf Blitzer that Trump halted funding for the World Health Organization because he wanted a “distraction” to take the spotlight during the daily coronavirus press briefing.

Baghdad Bob: Iraq is winning the war.
Jim acosta: Trump is always wrong.
Definite equivalency between the two men.
Both liars. Both saying what they’re told to say.
Baghdad bob had more integrity though. He lied because his life was at stake. Jim lies out of greed.

Acosta is an arrogant, self important, intellectually dishonest, ethicless, rude and partisan individual who craves the limelight and believes his rude behavior will get him his own show on CNN. All his actions are aimed to make him the focus of attention. Truth matters not as long as it puts Jim Acosta in the limelight. He is the perfect example of what is wrong with the media today and why the media is truly fake news and the real enemy of the American people.

I wish the President would say something like this at his press conference: "You know, Jim, we let you attend these for a reason. It would be easy to ban you from these pressers, but we like it that you're here. You never disappoint. You see, you're the poster child for fake news. Americans tune in and hear your questions and your disrespectful tone, and they not only frame an opinion about you and your fake news network; they look at all media that way. Americans look at you, Jim, and they see the whole media. You're exposing the truth about the fake news media. And it's not a good picture. But you're doing us a favor. Please keep coming back."

Sad that the opposition in this country cannot put aside the acrimony and childish games during a period where we need everyone pulling in the right direction. Democrats, their socialist communist group and their compliant media wing of their party have placed themselves as the enemy of the American people.

WHO is watching this CNN garbage anyway?
Everything I see a piece about something that happened on CNN it's being reported by some OTHER source.
I think CNN may be watched ONLY by certain "monitors" who are paid to watch and then tell the rest of us what they saw there.
I know that's the only way I could know what Blitzed, Tapper, Fredo, and the girls have said.

Jim Acosta = TOKYO ROSE (from WWII Japan). You can easily substitute Jim Acosta (or most any CCN / MSNBC) "journalist" as well as CNN or MSNBC into the description of Toyko Rose on Wikipedia an have and exact description of what these people are doing.

Acosta is reminiscent of a routinely unprepared lawyer who tries to fake cross-examination of a witness by asking argumentative questions made worse by being based on facts not in evidence. By these tactics, he hopes to persuade the jury with drama rather than evidence. In a courtroom, however, the judge would strike the questions and admonish the jury not to consider them. Eventually, the panel would be told to return to the jury room for a few minutes, after which the judge would lower the boom on him. Acosta is fortunate that the White House press corps is largely constituted of political teammates, most of whose knowledge is an inch deep and based on NYT editorials, press releases from Nancy Pelosi and conversations with each other. Afflicted by partisanship and ignorance borne of habitual sloth, thus so deeply has the profession fallen. It is so personally distressing I sometimes wonder why I continue my longtime membership in the Society of Professional Journalists.

Maybe that's not an example Jim wants to use. CNN later admitted that they censored and lied about Saddam Hussein's Iraq pre-Gulf War ('91) to maintain access.

Project much Acosta? Seems like you are addicted to it as much as you are to attention. You must have been jealous of the uncivil and rude female reporter who upstaged you Monday and Tuesday.

Acosta is a liberal showboat. President Trump should pick the time to have Acosta kicked out of a particular briefing during which Acosta is bound to be disruptive and disrespectful to the President. Following that, if CNN and Acosta go to court and fight the matter, Trump should push the case all the way up to the US Supreme Court. One thing is for sure, the Supreme Court would never allow Acosta to swing into action at the court, be disruptive, and be disrespectful to the Supreme Court Justices without being kicked out, and if that is OK at the Supreme Court it should be considered the same at the White House.

I think liberals have a different definition of the word "lie". My definition is the deliberate telling of an untruth. For instance, when people said Bush lied, people died, I asked what lie? They would mutter about "no weapons of mass destruction". But there were - poison gas is considered a WMD and Saddam used it on the Kurds and the Iranians. And he had tons of yellow cake and thousands of pounds of slightly enriched uranium so he definitely had some of the "makings" of atomic weapons. Plus all the intelligence agencies, which at that time were considered reliable, said Saddam had WMDs. So he did not lie and certainly did not deliberately lie.
When they say "Trump lied" I ask for details. I usually get back a press mis-paraphrase of something Trump said or a Trump excerpt wildly out of context or something that was true as far as anyone knew at the time. If I point this out they quickly blurt out more media generated fake news, which I then challenge. I am gentle as possible, I ask did you hear Trump say that or did you hear the whole statement? No matter what, at some point, after numerous changes of subject with "yeah, but what about" or "I saw it on TV" it becomes a personal attack - "you only listen to Fox news" or "You say that because you are a Republican" or some other attack. They've got nothing, I am tired of it and want them not just defeated but devastated. But unless the wimpy and weak Republican party has some secret plan to stop vote fraud I fear disaster.
