Virus-Panicked Liberal Gun Buyers Are Getting Angry
When They Discover Their Own Gun Control Laws

Original Article

I was chatting with a friend of mine recently and the topic of gun sales came up. My friend’s father owns a gun range near me and she said he’s seen a huge amount of liberals coming in to purchase weapons in recent weeks. How does he know they’re liberals? “They’re shocked to discover they can’t just walk out of the store with a gun.”

Comments:

Talk about ironic. I love it that they get an education about real life in the gun stores

Not surprised. Our liberal elitist class typically thinks such rules only apply to others - others who would be more likely to abuse their 2nd Amendment rights. Actually I think maybe we should hand weapons out to these people more easily. In their arrogance they won't think they need any training - including safety instruction......

Perhaps a few will want to loosen up their stupid anti-gun laws in California? Let's hope that they can learn, and become responsible gun owners. There really needs to be an effort to reach out to these new gun owners. I hope California's NRA instructors are advertising their services widely now. Fortunately, here in Kansas we have absolutely NO state laws that have any impact on gun sales other then matching the federal laws on not selling handguns to minors. All gun sales, ammo sales are entirely free of state of Kansas interference. Only the federal laws have to be followed, and with a CCW, you can walk out with your new gun without even another background check, the CCW suffices.

The preponderance of mass shooters have been shown to be liberals. They are the last people who should be allowed to purchase guns.

I am kind of glad we have crazy liberal azz Californika to point to. We need a place that is so bad only Marxists want to live there. My sister and her husband have left the state, their sons and their families, and my mother before she passed on. After a short stay with the army many years ago I left, too. It has become a stinking Hell Hole and their gun laws only emphasize one aspect of how oppressive their state government is.

This is California. A state I visited once but will never live in. Here in Georgia I can walk into a gun store and walk out with a gun since I have had a carry license for years. I do feel sorry for the dwindling number of conservatives in CA. They didn't vote for the tin pot, little dictators in the Dem Party.

Please, if you value the Second Amendment, join the NRA if you don't already belong. It helps protect our rights, and the monthly magazine keeps us up to date on political issues involving our right to own guns. You won't ne disappointed!

I can walk into a store and walk out with a gun too. But I don't live in California anymore(5th generation native) and I have a concealed carry permit(nearly impossible in Calif). This story is about liberal first timers and their culture shock.

Being educated by TV is no way to go thru life. I'd bet most of these people thought they knew lots of stuff about guns and didn't see anything wrong with 'common sense' gun laws. Now maybe they will get a sliver of common sense. That old sticker 'when guns are outlawed, only outlaws will have guns.' Might make sense to them now.

He practiced what he preached — then he died of coronavirus. An evangelical pastor died of COVID-19 just weeks after proudly showing off how packed his Virginia church was — and vowing to keep preaching “unless I’m in jail or the hospital.” In his last known in-person service on March 22, Bishop Gerald O. Glenn got his congregation at Richmond’s New Deliverance Evangelistic Church to stand to prove how many were there despite warnings against gatherings of more than 10 people.

CHARLOTTE, N.C. — A Charlotte woman hasn’t left her house in more than three weeks, yet still tested positive for COVID-19 late Thursday. “I’m absolutely terrified,” Rachel Brummert, who already has an autoimmune disorder, said. “This is the sickest I’ve ever been and it’s the most scared I’ve ever been. From what I’m hearing about ventilators, it’s scary stuff. I’m really hoping I can wait this out at home.”

The Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts has walked back its decision to furlough nearly 100 members of the symphony orchestra despite receiving a $25 million federal bailout, a move that prompted the affected musicians to file a lawsuit against the performing arts center. According to The Washington Free Beacon, the center has offered the musicians pay cuts and a wage freeze instead of furloughs, and the union representing the orchestra’s musicians has, in turn, decided to drop a lawsuit against the center for allegedly violating a contract, which prohibits layoffs without six weeks notice.

One word keeps recurring in online discussions of Michigan Gov. Gretchen Whitmer’s latest orders to fight the state’s raging COVID-19 outbreak: “Insanity.” Last week, the first-term Democrat issued an order extending the state’s stay-at-home policy, which had been set to expire April 15, until May 1. Michigan has the third-highest number of coronavirus cases of any state in America, and certainly strong measures are required to get the pandemic under control. But the devil is in the details, and Whitmer’s new order instantly provoked a firestorm of outrage. Among the complaints was that Whitmer had prohibited sale of seeds and other garden supplies,

America’s infectious disease expert, Dr. Anthony Fauci, appeared on CNN and told Jake Tapper that “obviously” fewer people would have coronavirus if we had shut down the country earlier. He punctuated it by saying there was “push back” to the idea.
A full listen to his answers show Dr. Fauci wasn’t aggressively laying blame anywhere, and he repeatedly warned against second guessing. He stated clearly, for example, that comparisons to South Korea were illogical. He admitted that he looks at things from a, “pure health standpoint,” meaning that he doesn’t concern himself with your job or your neighbor’s small business.
