A majority of Democrats want to nominate New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo for president instead of Joe Biden, according to poll results shared exclusively with The Post.
The national poll found 56 percent of Democrats prefer Cuomo, with 44 percent wanting to stick with presumptive nominee Biden — a 12-point margin well outside the 4.8 percent margin of error for the Democratic sample.
Hispanic voters, young people, women and self-identified liberals are most likely to favor dumping the former vice president for Cuomo.
The poll, conducted April 3-6, was commissioned by the conservative pro-market Club for Growth,

Yeah, whatever. Out of 20+ candidates, they still can't make up their minds.

Why would the demons want to replace Biden when he's beating President Trump in Fox and other polls? This is just plain silly; everybody knows Biden is beating Trump like he stole something. Stop it, C4G!

Cuomo is not a proud American. Remember......'this country was never great?' We've just recently had a president who wasn't proud of the country, and that administration was a disaster, eight years of malaise, actually making things worse..

This is a very peculiar poll as it also polls Republicans. As OP comment says, Club for Growth was historically (as of 2016) vigorously against Donald J. Trump, the candidate...

If the high mucky muck leftist and liberal Democrats now kick Biden into the gutter and replace him with the constantly complaining Cuomo, who has been the Governor of New York since 2011, the State that was most shockingly unprepared to deal with the corona virus, and who did not run for President during the Democrat caucuses and primaries, chances are a lot of Bernie’s supporters are going to say wait a minute now, why not Bernie who ran for President from the get-go? realizing that the Democrats have screwed Bernie twice, common sense will tell you that a lot of Bernie supporters will either simply stay home and not vote, along with some even voting for President Trump.

Sure, drop the creepy old guy with (Dem)entia and go for the guy responsible for the worst-prepared state in the country and highest death rate who also was prepared to steal ventilators from the smaller counties using armed force...annnnd who said America was never great...annnnd who approved a law for abortions up to and post birth, saying that anyone who didn't agree doesn't belong in New York...
Wow. Yeah, go for it!

With the Supreme Court and other won't-wait prizes at stake in this election, the Dem power brokers have to be realizing that Joe won't make it to the finish line, even as a puppet. None of the "2020 Twenty" Dim candidates has the moxie to take up the banner, so the brokers are casting further. I wouldn't be at all surprised if the whole New York "crisis" and Cuomo's incessant TV presence are a trial balloon to promote his viability.

Not that Democrats ever follow rules but how would Cuomo be considered a viable candidate since he has zero delegates at the present time compared to Bernie who has been in the race from the beginning and amassed hundreds of delegates.

It might be a good idea to drop Joe Biden, maybe he'll start acting better. I did that to a transistor radio once and it ended up working much better for years. Heck, it's worth a try!

Democrats are big fans of changing the rules in the middle of the game. Or afterward, and trying to apply them retroactively.

Nobrainer, at that this ridiculous Dem juncture, I guess. Although Cuomo presents his own problems for them. For starters, the far left is not enamored of Cuomo to say the least, and I'm not sure how excited the Blacks are about Cuomo. Have a feeling that after a few weeks of candidate/nomineee Cuomo, the Dems would be quoting Oliver Hardy to the DNC: "Well, this is another fine mess you've gotten us into."

The Dems know that Biden can't win in spite of those fake polls but they really have their tails in a crack. If they take the nomination away from Joe, they risk alienating his voters and showing really bad optics. Their only out is to force Joe to resign for 'health reasons'. That way he gets to play the victim. I don't think he will do this voluntarily so it will take a big bribe to get him to leave. Maybe Soros can offer him a billion or two.

Club for Growth was not for Donald J. Trump the last time around. Are they trying to set up what they believe will be a stronger Dem candidate than Biden? Wouldn’t put it past them.
