Deciding when to reopen the country will be “the biggest decision I’ve ever had to make,” President Trump said Friday, cautioning he wouldn’t do so until it’s absolutely safe, despite hopeful signs that the pandemic’s spread could be slowing.“I’m going to have to make a decision, and I only hope to God that it’s the right decision,” Trump said.“Without question it’s the biggest decision I’ve ever had to make.”After previously hoping to get Americans working again by Easter Sunday, Trump conceded Friday that it would be best to follow his health experts’ advice.

I can't think of anyone who I would rather have making this difficult decision.

While I do trust PT with this decision, I’m not sure the health “experts” are the only ones to trust. It will be interesting to see what Governor Abbott does in Texas. Perhaps the other 49 can follow suit.

Well, you did say Easter sir, and if this reopening doesn't happen by or before the end of the month, all bets just might wind up being off. We are sick to death of Fauci and his ghoulish pronouncements. I am hopeful the Tuesday economic council spells the end of Fauci trying to harm our nation.

The media will charge Trump for murder if he decides to let businesses open again after April 30th. They're already writing the stories about all the people who have and will die because of his actions. Trump might just let the governors of each state decide. Either way, Trump can't win with the media.

I don't think we should have ever shut down to begin with. This is a trial run on how to control the country. This virus is not as bad as the flu as far as deaths go. And that little shrimp of a dr is working on cards we will have to carry saying we are virus free. Baby steps.

Mr. President, it will never be “absolutely safe.” That is like saying you won’t reopen until you get a message from the Easter Bunny. You are being pressured by people who will never concede that point. Ever. You MUST reopen the country. The people are getting really, really angry.

Trump should stop listening to so called medical experts & people who work for the government...they get paid whether they work or not. Ask the working class. Trump just do it! Stop fooling around. There is no such thing as 100% safe. Just remember if the media is against it.. be for it ! The sooner it's reopened the sooner we will attempt to be back to normal. In other words Trump stop being a democrat.

Please, instead of criticizing President Trump or telling him what to do, pray for him, that he may be guided by God’s will. Always, may God’s will be done, not our will, in Jesus name we pray.

May 1st will be the latest acceptable date. Open up county by county. We cannot destroy our nation on doctor’s orders. We want a second opinion because Bill Gates’ models evidently are bull veces.

It should be a fairly simple thing. I just looked a covid19 stats for California:
https://www.google.com/search?q=riverside+county+covid+19+cases&oq=riverside+county+covid&aqs=chrome.5.0j69i57j0l4.15219j0j8&sourceid=chrome&ie=UTF-8
San Francisco County has 797 cases with 13 deaths. Is all of this really necessary for much longer!?
Look at the stats and the curve and you tell me, mister President, how much longer the people in this country can afford to stay home out of work and defaulting on their rent and mortgage and car payments.
Please announce a plan of opening it back up in zones that are not hot spots. Phased reopenings. Give people some hope and something to cheer about! We are with you!

The biggest decision you ever had to make is whether you stick with Rupert, or cut bait....he's screwed you for a long time and you play ignorant. He was lauding the Loretta Lynch nomination for AG as a 'pillar for justice'; his WSJ rips you incessantly with below-the-belt cheap shots; your current AG meets with him secretly; he's responsible for sponsoring known liars disguised as hit-man tabloid journos like Glenn Simpson, Louise Mensch, ROB GOLDSTONE, as well as foreign dignitaries such as Alexander Downer in an effort to bring you down---throw the damn book at him--he deserves it.

For those who believe in the power of prayer (to echo #8) pray that PJDT will first have the humility to humbly seek Gods' supernatural, all-seeing, all-knowing wisdom; to seek the advice and confirmation of wise, experienced, long-seeing counselors who love this country and, the courage to do what is right for America and the American people. Pray God he hears correctly in his heart/spirit and his decision/subsequent actions will be good for the nation and the American people.
Truly no matter what the president does, the news media will criticize it/him no matter what decision he makes. It will take courage to do ignore the inevitable screeching and cacophony on the left. So far he has been fearless. Pray God he will continue to be so!

I trust the President to make the right decision. I believe he is weighing the loss of life against the lifeblood of a working economy and it is a huge burden for him. He knows the drill. The media and democrats will viciously attack him. The networks will no doubt have a running segment entitled Number of Deaths Due to Trump’s decision. There will be articles and conversations about the President’s willingness to put Americans at risk in order to reopen the economy. It will be hysterically over the top. The democrats know the economy is Trump’s baby, his success and they see an opportunity to undermine all the good he has done. They have relished each order to shut down one business after another. They don’t care that the country is suffering as long as the economy is tanking.
The President understands the risk but he also knows the rewards. If he can get the economy moving forward again at a healthy pace, the democrats are toast. God give him wisdom and the strength to make the right decision. When this is all over and the dust settles, I believe we are going to find out that many on the President's CoVid-19 team were advancing their own agenda.

I thought Corona TF members were off limits to CNN until they resumed presenting the whole TF briefing. Not just what they edited. I might be behind the current news here. Basic premises ( projected death are one example) are being changed more often than a newborn's diaper! I'm skeptical.

It will turn into nothing more than a urination contest between Trump and state governors, with the medial gleefully adding color.

And the tears will flow.
