Pope says coronavirus pandemic could
be nature's response to climate crisis

Original Article

Rome - Pope Francis has said the coronavirus pandemic is one of "nature's responses" to humans ignoring the current ecological crisis. In an email interview published Wednesday in The Tablet and Commonwealth magazines, the pontiff said the outbreak offered an opportunity to slow down the rate of production and consumption and to learn to understand and contemplate the natural world. "We did not respond to the partial catastrophes. Who now speaks of the fires in Australia, or remembers that 18 months ago a boat could cross the North Pole because the glaciers had all melted? Who speaks now of the floods?"

Comments:

Does he believe 'nature' has a mind and a will to create worldwide pandemics to punish us?

This Pope is really out in left field. Popes getting involved in world politics, and the internal politics of nation states throughout history have caused a lot of death and destruction over the ages. This Pope should know that. Everybody who has been paying attention knows the corona virus pandemic started in Wuhan, China either in a Chinese culture based “wet” market, or somehow the virus escaped from what may be a Chinese biowarfare laboratory at Wuhan. There is no indication that so-called climate change had any connection to the pandemic.

The pope would do well to study the Word regarding the actual upcoming global warming. Rev. 8:7 The first angel blew his trumpet, and hail and fire mixed with blood were thrown down on the earth. One-third of the earth was set on fire, one-third of the trees were burned, and all the green grass was burned. Revelation 20:8-10 And shall go out to deceive the nations which are in the four quarters of the earth, Gog, and Magog, to gather them together to battle: the number of whom is as the sand of the sea. And they went up on the breadth of the earth, and compassed the camp of the saints about, and the beloved city: and fire came down from God out of heaven, and devoured them. And the devil that deceived them was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone, where the beast and the false prophet are, and shall be tormented day and night for ever and ever.

Understand, Pope Francis is often used as a Sock-Puppet by the Curia. I can't count the number of times he has reportedly said something, for it to be walked back only a day or two, later. Francis may have said what's reported. He also may have said nothing at all. My dad was a legal officer of an oil Company back in the sixties. I remember him giving an interview, in our home on a Friday night to a reporter from our Morning City Paper. My Dad had one of the early miniaturized cassette recorders, from which he would transcribe notes. The story, when it was released, was totally different from the interview, relating things my Dad had not touched on and including questions and answers that did not happen. If my dad hadn't had the recorder to present to his Bosses, he wouldn't have had a job, as the story was a hit-piece on the company. Fake News is NOT a NEW thing.

A generation of Democrats is haunted by the party’s infamous 1968 convention in Chicago. After one of the most tumultuous presidential primaries in US history—in which the incumbent Lyndon Johnson withdrew from the race, in which Bobby Kennedy built a multiracial working-class coalition before he was shot and killed, and in which the young college students and activists of the New Left rallied behind Eugene McCarthy, all against the backdrop of urban riots, Vietnam, and a breakaway segregationist faction—the Democratic establishment chose to nominate Johnson’s vice president, Hubert Humphrey, to maintain its control over the party. Two months ago, Cleveland Plain Dealer cut 22 journalists from its payroll. (snip) While newspapers - many owned by heavily indebted chain owners - have been hard hit, the broader media landscape has pits in it at every turn. Alternative weeklies and city magazines, dependent on ads from restaurants, museums and local attractions, were the first to hang out urgent appeals for reader donations; several have shuttered and others are contemplating it. Even local TV stations, the most resilient sector during the media's troubled years, are hurting from the disappearance of two reliable advertisers, local car dealers and political candidates.

Can any government statistics on COVID-19 deaths be trusted? It is an open question now that we are learning that the highly respected, world-class Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) has been lying to us. (snip) That the CDC isn’t telling the truth to Americans is no conspiracy theory: it’s right out there in the open for everyone to see. The CDC openly admits that it is fudging the COVID-19 death figures. We know this because, among other truth-tellers, a plainspoken small-town physician from Kalispell, Montana, has pulled back the curtain.

In his latest digital short, filmmaker Ami Horowitz took to the unusually empty streets of New York City, the epicenter of the coronavirus pandemic, to ask residents if they would be willing to “make a deal”: have the country suffer a longer, more severe crisis if it means that Donald Trump will definitely lose the election. A majority of the people Horowitz talked with said it was a “hard” decision, but opted for a more damaging, deadly pandemic just so long as Trump is defeated in November. For his latest installment of “Ami On the Loose,” Horowitz went to the East Village to offer his potentially deadly deal (video below).

Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders said Wednesday he is suspending his 2020 presidential campaign, bowing to the commanding delegate lead former Vice President Joe Biden has established. Sanders made the announcement during an all-staff conference call. He will give public remarks at 11:45 a.m. ET, his campaign says. Sanders' decision comes weeks after the coronavirus pandemic upended the Democratic race. The worsening outbreak delayed primary contests and the party's nominating convention and has halted all in-person campaigning, forcing the two candidates to hold virtual events from their respective homes. Sanders suspended his campaign after voters went to the polls Tuesday

What is the origin of the new coronavirus? It is an alarming topic. Still, a notable portion of the public—particularly conservatives—believes that the virus emerged from a laboratory rather than nature, according to a new poll released on Wednesday. Three-in-10 (29%) say it most likely was created in a lab—23% believe the current strain of the coronavirus was developed intentionally in a laboratory; another 6% say it was most likely made accidentally in a lab, according to a new Pew Research Center poll. A plurality of the respondents—43%—said the virus came about naturally while a quarter say they aren’t sure

On Tuesday night, Real Clear Politics’ Susan Crabtree reported her sources have confirmed that President Trump is firing seven inspectors general “in one fell swoop.” She believes the group will include IGs who were appointed by either President Obama or a previous administration. She wrote that the President “wants his own people in those positions now” and noted that, during his briefing on Tuesday afternoon, he said he had “put in seven names.” [Tweet] Crabtree indicated this group includes Intelligence Community IG Michael Atkinson, who received the whistleblower complaint last August. After the acting DNI, the general counsel of the DNI and the DOJ Office of Legal Counsel

Dr. Zeke Emanuel — the architect of the bloated Obamacare legislation — essentially called for an 18-month national lockdown to stem the coronavirus outbreak. Ezekiel Emanuel was the former health-policy adviser under Barack Obama. He’s also the brother of former Chicago mayor Rahm Emanuel, who was Obama’s White House chief of staff. Zeke Emanuel has been spent his entire medical career in academia or government, so it’s safe to say that he doesn’t have to worry about missing a paycheck during a nationwide shutdown. Like fellow government bureaucrat Dr. Anthony Fauci, Emanuel offered a bleak picture of America’s future. “Realistically, COVID-19 will be here for the next 18 months or more,” Emanuel told MSNBC.

Dr. Anthony Fauci did it again. The first time Fauci was noted signaling to his allies in media was when he signaled to ABC’s Jonathan Karl after an antagonistic exchange with President Trump at a task force briefing [SEE HERE]. Today, another briefing, and CNN’s Jim Acosta had a similar antagonistic exchange with President Trump. Once again Dr. Fauci hangs back to give Acosta a similar signal. Subtle like a brick through a window. WATCH: (Video)
