New York county executives want access to the anti-malarial drug hydroxychloroquine that Gov. Andrew Cuomo conceded showed early “effective” responses in COVID-19 virus patients in current clinical trials, which he began allowing within the state two weeks ago. The Democratic governor told reporters at his daily briefing in Albany on Monday he would ask President Trump to raise the federal supply of hydroxychloroquine to New York pharmacies. (Snip) New York county executives, according to Steve McLaughlin of Rensselaer County, have discussed the issue of with one another and wondered why Cuomo prohibited the treatment from being dispensed to different parts of the state.

Cuomo has blood on his hands. There are doctors that could prescribe this medication to anyone suffering with this virus and keep people out of the hospital. Not allowing doctors outside of a hospital to administer it to a patient could cause death to the elderly and people with underlying condition(s). By the time the patient is admitted to the hospital, it could be too late Something is very wrong here. What is this man doing?

If you want an abortion we are told the decision is between the mother and her doctor. If that is true then if a patient and doctor want to use the hydroxychloroquine who is Cuomo to deny them that drug. Dems just want us to die.

If I were a doctor, I would be treating patients with hydroxychloroquine regardless of what Cuomo said. I don't care what the consequences might be, but the patient is supposed to come first.

PT says he's already stockpiled millions and millions of this drug. All Cuomo has to do is ask for it like he does everything else. Cuomo is so crooked that I wouldn't be surprised to learn down the road that he purposely rigged the drug trial on patients to prove the demonrat mantra that it doesn't work so he can meet his quota of dead for Agenda 21 (their holy grail) - remember the Buffalo scam? When the investigation got too close to him, he shut it down.

Governor Andrew Cuomo of New York says that it’s “shocking” to discover that 66 percent of new hospitalizations appear to have been among people “largely sheltering at home. We thought maybe they were taking public transportation,” he said, “but actually no, because these people were literally at home.” (Snip) There’s a reason that “social distancing” wasn’t a buzzword common to the American lexicon prior to 2020. There’s very little science behind “social distancing” at all.

For Charles Vavruska, it was nothing short of a miracle cure. Days after the 53-year-old City Council staffer arrived at New York Presbyterian-Queens hospital barely able to breathe and tested positive for COVID-19, doctors started him on the controversial drug cocktail of hydroxychloroquine, an anti-malarial, and azithromycin, an antibiotic. Although Vavruska said he felt almost immediately better, he wishes the urgent-care doctor he went to see in the early days of his flu-like symptoms in mid-March could have prescribed a similar treatment before he grew progressively worse and ended up in a hospital room, hooked up to an oxygen tank and fighting for his life.

Under pressure from President Trump, the Indian government Tuesday lifted a ban on the export of hydroxychloroquine, paving the way for the anti-malaria drug to be shipped to the U.S. for use against the coronavirus. I’m probably second to none in my dislike for Meghan Markle. There’s something unattractive about a mature woman marrying into the British Royal family with one of the world’s most expensive weddings, hanging out with the Queen, living in insane luxury…and then whining non-stop about the horror of her life. There’s something even less appealing when that woman accuses the Royal family of race hatred. And the problem is that, when it comes to that left-wing diva, Meghan Markle, it’s hard to believe most of what she says. After weeks of hype, CBS finally televised Meghan Markle and Prince Harry’s interview with Oprah.
