Prince Charles Will Reportedly Cover
Part of Harry and Meghan's Security
Costs after Trump Refuses

The bombshell decision by Prince Harry and Meghan Markle to lay down their royal duties and move to Los Angeles unsurprisingly inflicted some additional security costs, and according to the US president’s recent Twitter rant, he was not about to pay for the couple’s protection in their newly found home. Charles could reportedly cover half of his son Prince Harry’s and his wife Meghan Markle’s security costs in the US, a royal insider told the Daily Mail. The Prince of Wales, who has just recovered from coronavirus, would pay a “private contribution” of up to £2 million ($2,5 million) every year

Well, duuuh. Why the heck should American citizens be compelled to pay for foreign royalty? Don't care that she's American, she's a private citizen here. Pay yer own.

PS. Three very BIG cheers to our leader for his common sense and standing up for America. We don’t do royalty here. And they are no longer even royalty. We need our $$$ to take care of our own. Now, if we can keep the Dems’s grubby hands out of the taxpayers’ funds….

This is a definite problem for Charles. Someday he will be King (God help the Kingdom), and he will have a son, who clearly does not make wise decisions, living it up among the commoners abroad. Harry and his family will be huge terrorism or ransom targets. Security is mandated, but I reiterate that Harry's choice is not the U.S. taxpayers' problem.

Get a four bedroom home with a two car garage somewhere other than California or New York and you'll be set for life with the money you have, ex-royals. Poor daddy has to make such a sacrifice for his own flesh and blood. As if we're supposed to feel sorry for him and his millionaire son and daughter-in-law. I don't think most Americans will be ashamed of our president for not wasting taxpayers' money on those entitled jerks.

I cannot help but wonder about Prince Harry's conscience [if he has one] regarding his marriage to an unstable, selfish Hollywood 'starlet'. He has abandoned the country of his birth, his royal heritage, his military record and buddies, his family, grandmother, Father and brother plus three little nieces and nephews, and yes, his religious upbringing in the Church of England. It was a broad hint during his wedding that Meghan is married to her black church yet and the new black Hollywood crowd. Will Harry ever again see the inside of an Anglican Church? Will Archie be raised learning only spiritual songs? With Meghan as his wife, it appears that she is calling all the shots and making all the decisions.

Charles will be forever hamstringed by Harry over Diana. How can Charles not provide for everything to keep Harry and Meg safe? Not that I agree with it but Harry and Meg have put Charles in a bad position If anything were to happen Charles would be blamed and he would never live it down. Also don’t see such a bright future for Meg since she always seems to put her foot in her mouth. She’s thinking they will be worth billions. We’ll see.

There was never a bit of verification that we were ever asked to pay for their expenses. I was sorry to see Trump jump in and fall prey to the trashy British journalism. What Charles pays for is his business. The British taxpayers have been fine paying for Fergie the freeloader to shack up at Royal Lodge with Andy all these years. There are six buildings on site to accommodate all the staff that keeps that place up and running. I am with you, #1. One has to wonder why the gossips continue on and on about this couple.

There is no reason why the American taxpayers should be paying for Meghan and Harry’s supposed Security needs. They have the wherewithal through Harry’s Daddy Chuck to pay for that. Since Meghan and Harry are now just private persons living in the USA, they really don’t need any more security then all the other Hollywood related personalities, and the American taxpayers don’t pay for their security.

The money that Charles has is from income generated by Duchy of Cornwall about 26 + mill per year. He's been the Duke of Cornwall for the last 50 years. That money comes from the working taxpayers of Cornwall..He makes additional money marketing foodstuffs with the " royal" name. Then there are the inheritances that comes down through the family. The Harkles want security, ask dad or pay it yourself. The Harkels are worth about 35 mil. America owes you NOTHING.

Charles should demand a DNA test on Andrew. Princess Diana was diddling the stable boy, while Charles was diddling the old lady he wound up marrying. Andrew looks like the stable boy. 9Diana's paramour not actually the stable boy - he was a royal captain of some kind, in charge of the royal stables.)

To those worrying about someone wanting to kidnap any of this sorry lot, forget about it. When Andrew was cavorting with Epstein and Bubba, was his being kidnapped a worry for the Queen? There are dozens of minor royals going hither and yon every day without bodyguards. These two don’t even raise a blip on a kidnapper’s radar. And sadly, I’d say that includes poor little Archie, who couldn’t choose his parents. Nutmeg has been pushing for security because of Who She Is. (stop that giggling)

SACRAMENTO – One of Planned Parenthood’s priority bills in California this year requires health insurance companies to hide from parents “sensitive” medical procedures given to their adult and minor children. These “sensitive” services, as defined by SB 1004, include abortions; drug abuse and mental health treatment; and under certain circumstanced transgender hormones and sex-change operations. In a fact-sheet from bill author Senator Hannah-Beth Jackson, (D) Santa Barbara, the legislation is necessary to protect young adults, who remain on their parent’s health insurance until age 26, from being shamed or hurt by the policyholder who disagrees with their healthcare choices.

Former Vice President Joseph R. Biden Thursday evening said most Americans believe the country needs to get better, arguing “10 to 15 percent” of people “are just not very good.” Mr. Biden, the presumptive 2020 Democratic presidential nominee, argued the president is vital in setting the standard for the rest of the country during a virtual town hall event on “The Shade Room” hosted by actor Don Cheadle. “Do we really think that this is as good as we can be as a nation? I don’t think the vast majority of people think that,” he said. “There are probably anywhere from 10 to 15 percent

Minneapolis City Council members are expected to hold an emergency meeting Friday to vote on some of the first changes to the city’s police department following the death of George Floyd, with some of the council’s members vowing to “dismantle” the police department, according to the Star Tribune. The council is working with the state’s Department of Human Rights on a stipulated restraining order that would require some immediate changes to the police department. The order would also set up a timeline for an investigation into whether the police department participated in racial discrimination over the last 10 years.

Student activists across the country are calling for their schools to cut ties with police departments and remove officers from campuses in response to a national uprising against police brutality. And school leaders in Minneapolis and Portland, Ore., have already taken that step.(Snip) The public school board in Minneapolis voted unanimously to terminate its contract with the city’s police department on Tuesday in response to Floyd’s death. “I firmly believe that it is completely unnatural to have police in schools,” school board member Kimberly Caprini said during the meeting, according to the Minneapolis Star Tribune. The Minneapolis mayor is asking for federal help cleaning up and rebuilding his city after rioters caused at least $55 million worth of damage through looting, burning, and defacing public and private property. That cost estimate is likely to increase in the coming days as government officials continue to tally the damage done in the wake of George Floyd’s death, Mayor Jacob Frey said according to the Minneapolis Star Tribune. Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz and the state’s congressional delegation are also pushing the Trump administration and Congress for funding. On Tuesday, city officials released an initial estimate of $55 million in damage done to at least 220 buildings.

Mr. President, you’ve taken step one: Declaring Antifa a domestic terrorist organization. That was a brilliant move. Now it’s time for step number two: Cut the head off the snake. We’ve got to move to aggressively cut off the funding of domestic terrorism. Those who provide funding are terrorists themselves. Who is providing the funding? There are many suspects. Suspect number one is globalist billionaire George Soros and his Open Society Foundation. It starts there. Is Soros guilty? That’s way above my pay grade. That’s why we need a global investigation. And indictments and a trial.

Chicago—It was bad before and it’s even worse now. Food deserts in some South Side communities have even fewer choices for groceries after the weekend’s violence. CBS 2’s Marissa Parra has more from Bronzeville with a look at how it’s impacting the community. For neighbors, the Jewel-Osco on 75th is the grocery store. But no longer.(Snip) On Sunday night, it was ravaged by looters, as you can see by the aftermath captured in video from the next day, leaving neighbors frustrated. “It’s not what you do. California’s Legislature now has a pandemic-battered budget plan: Pray, wait and hope for the best. More seriously, Democratic leaders want to postpone the pain carried in Gov. Gavin Newsom’s proposed spending cuts to meet a looming $54.3 billion shortfall. Both the governor and his counterparts in the Legislature know the depth of the problem: a crashing economy, rising jobless and health bills, and no end in sight for the coronavirus threat. Both are leaning on the thin wish that more federal stimulus money will ride to the rescue though that brewing bailout is stalled in Washington. Thank the Republicans in the Senate for refusing

I’ve been thinking that the US is in a May 1968 moment, but that’s probably too optimistic. A reader who is a prominent Washingtonian (he identified himself, and I verified it; I’m not using his name to protect him) wrote this morning to say that he and a number of people he know are leaving the city for good in the wake of this past week’s violence. He writes, and I quote with his permission: I’m out.
