David Plouffe played a major role in Obama’s 2008 election. He may be a liberal, but he understands how elections work.He is now predicting that the Coronavirus crisis will not have a negative impact on turnout among Trump voters. It will, however, put Joe Biden at a disadvantage. FOX News reports:Ex-Obama adviser Plouffe predicts ‘historic’ turnout for Trump, says Biden now at a disadvantage The coronavirus pandemic and struggling economy will not deter President Trump’s supporters
Did you ever consider all of the current chaos is to prevent the election from taking place ? No President has ever received the grief Trump has gotten. He needs our prayers.

David Plouffe is just being Captain Obvious. Everybody and their momma knows Biden is a big time loser. This is his third chance to be President; what's so great about him now? Is it his forgetfulness? His lack of accomplishments? The fact that he looks like he's already dead? His fantastic family? I know, his association non-association with the former poseur-in-chief? Come on!

Trump may not win in this upcoming election. This is how it's going to fall out. When our economy tanks so bad, everyone is going to turn on President Trump like hungry rats. The democrats are praising the President now so he will continue listening to that little witch doctor and keep people in isolation and shutdown businesses. When it the economy tanks so bad, he will be blamed for the mismanagement of the coronavirus. Wait and see, this is how they work.

I agree. By the time the dim primary is held in August, America will be back to work, one way or the other, and Biden or whatever woodenhead they choose will be competing with a very much loved and successful President Trump.
They must stop this isolation foolishness because a collapsed country full of healthy people is less desireable than a flourishing country with a few sick people in hospital beds. Yes, single digit percentage illness is a "few." If we collapse and lose our means to defend ourselves, it's all over.

Joe Biden is not, and was never going to be, the demnom. He is simply the dem bus driver to election chaos. His run has been pure chaos, and his demise will be a spectacular chaos conflagration when the dems swap him for their actual nominee, as close as possible to the election.
Due to his impending heart issue (or whatever).
Do you truly think the party of "collusion gate"...kavanough gate...impeach gate...deep state gate...is about to have a straight up election???
An honest Justice Dept for 4 unfettered years would spell death to them. These folks are merely evil, not insane.

The Dems biggest problem is they depend on massive turnout from a odd-lot collection of demographic groups. There is not enough enthusiasm for Biden to generate the numbers needed.

Thanks for the good news, Mr. Plouffe.
But we'll just keep playing like we're 10 points behind even in the "gimme states."

Openly acknowledging the near-foregone reality of Trump's re-election is the Dem Party's warning that they are positioning for 2024. In the same vein, understanding this is a lost election is perhaps why they presented not a single candidate who stood even a remote chance and for whom an ugly loss might have poisoned their chances later on. That said, we will still see in four years, Butt-cheeks, BeLow, Castro, Tulsi, etc, present themselves to the voters - and maybe someone better currently hidden in the wings who was wise enough to avoid the impending slaughter.

#9 I might agree with you but their slate was formidable when the first assembled. Harris looked very electable before she opened her mouth. Booker even...we elected a guy for 8 years w/less going for him than Spartacus. Having the same minority draw.
But the Brute Squad forced that whole team to run to the far left. ALL candidates raised their hands ON A STAGE pledging open boarders and free healthcare to illegals.
At some point they will switch over to 2024 strategy, but not until they play their final card. Which is their last minute candidate swap.
Could be HRC. Could be Moochelle my Hell! Could be Oblabber himself! Don't put it past them!

#3 I would agree w/you EXCEPT: this recession will not be blamed on POTUS. A cyclical recession would have been, but the covid recession will not. Only his response will be on him.
In fact the covid recession has made POTUS **blame proof** for recession which was his Achilles heal, had one cycled in. Yes, POTUS would have been jettisoned by the electorate had a recession hit ala Nixon '73 who won 49 states in '72.
OTOH in 2020 any demnom will have to admit that during covid they would have welcomed ANY illegal into the country to give them free healthcare, walfare, and an American's job.
And the President will make them admit that under the hot lights of a debate stage.
