“If the motive is to hurt Donald Trump, then save it. Save it for when this horrible disease is behind us,” because we all have to pull together in support of President Donald Trump’s “epic” efforts to combat coronavirus, Geraldo Rivera said Monday during his “Roadkill” podcast.
There’s no point in nitpicking at Trump’s every misstep at a time like this – especially, since he’s doing “an epic job” keeping Americans safe from coronavirus, Rivera said:
“I know that many Trump-haters are clearly frustrated right now because most of the American people – 60 percent in that Gallup poll – most of the America people,

Geraldo can be magnanimous at times. He has a big heart and truly loves our President.

Just like that classic Paul Newman movie, "Cool Hand Luke" it looks like Geraldo finally "got his mind right". Keep up the positive attitude,Geraldo.

Geraldo aside, PDT is the right man at the right time. Shades of Churchill and May 1940.

Geraldo has discovered that all the hot chicks are conservatives! The progressive chicks are basket cases of conflicting emotions.

Seems Gerry is hedging his bets...he doesn't want his career to go down the porcelain bowl with the MSM!

A lot of the time, Geraldo is off in La-La land with the other NY folks, but sometimes, occasionally he gets it right. This is one of those times.

Boring little man. We mute him whenever he shows up on something we’re trying to watch.

Gerry is a liberal, therefore brainless, spineless, gutless and heartless. He parrots what he thinks will keep him relevant and in the spotlight.
Tomorrow he will have nothing good to say about President Trump. Gerry will vote for whichever commie the dems put up to run against President Trump in November.
Time to publically SHAME all dems, libs, progs, socialists and commies. They will do and say anything to get attention. Don't believe them, if they are breathing THEY ARE LYING.
SHAME SHAME SHAME!!!

I'd rather have someone who loves me than someone who is perfect. Mr. Trump loves America and her people. Only Jesus Christ loves me AND is perfect.

I once spent half a day with Geraldo.
On a person to person basis, off camera, he is as charming a person as I have ever met.
when the camera goes on, that charm would not be of value, so he has developed a certain schtik, I guess it would be called.
I consider him a friend, based on that brief time together, and I don't have a wide circle of friends, by choice..

Geraldo has a certain admiration for Trump. This is not the first positive thing he has said about POTUS. Geraldo is a fellow New Yorker and knows he is getting the job done.

{{picking myself up off the floor in shock}} Good on Geraldo for saying this, but shame on him for not saying it to a wider audience forum where it would really count.

Thank you for the insight, #14. There have been times when that sensible person seems to come through in spite of the "on camera schtick" as you put it. But way too much of the time, his NYC/on camera personality turns many off.
Good to know that there is a real person hiding in there somewhere.

Does anyone remember the flack Geraldo caused during the Iraq war when he drew a diargram in the sand about what had just happened in the combat zone? At the time, I emailed him that i didn't think it was all that revealing and that the press was blowing it out of proportion. Well, lo and behold, Geraldo answered my email was grateful for my observation. That's Geraldo! Like #14 said He's quite a nice guy...he's just very sensitive to the downtrodden. Right now President Trump could be considered downtrodden by the way he's been treated.

Experience developed in me a habit of doubting anything that Geraldo says. Which only becomes an issue when he says something that I'm inclined to agree with. His praise of President Trump touches off an inner conflict...
