One of the constants in social media posts from or emails between conservatives is the hope that the coronavirus pandemic will knock the underpinnings from gender madness. (snip) Sir Elton is taking incoming fire from the woke crowd. His crime? “Misgendering” Sam Smith, a biological male who no longer understands what’s living in his underpants. That’s why Smith announced a year ago that he’s an “it.” Oh, pardon me. He’s "non-binary," which is the politically correct term for a living being that’s neither male nor female.

Anyway, there was no mistake. Once a "him", always a "him".

Pronoun wars be damned. I’m going to use: he, him, her, and she whenever and wherever I please.

I work with a 18 year old who has chosen a binary name. (Birth name is Melissa.) She's very photogenic. I always compliment feminine stuff about her. She is a pleasant person and a good worker.

Or as Archie Bunker said when asked by Gloria "What is a Hermaphrodite?" He said "Its a freak.....with a little bit too much of each, and not enough of either"
- Archie Bunker (All in the Family). NOTE: The script was written by liberal Hollywood Writers

Coronavirus might not stop the pronoun wars; but it has pretty well stopped me from even pretending to care about it. Pandering to the sexuality-as-spectrum madness is a luxury nobody can afford during a fight for survival.

Ah Reggie, your lack of comprehension of intersectionality is showing. Live by progressive sword, die by it.

This says it best. There are two genders and a lot of mental disorders. I've come to respond with, "I refuse to buy into your psychosis."

To the UN-WOKE general public, Sam Smith is a man. He presented himself s a man during the concert. He certainly sounds like a man when he sings. If he has all of the working parts, he is a....man. He may want to be identified a neither, but then he should present to the world as both at the same time to avoid any confusion that he considers himself neither a male or female. Of course, to present himself as both at once would also confirm to the world that he is confused about his identity and possibly needs some psychological counseling.

serious question.
Are the communities of perverts in france, Russia, Spain, and most of South America, where language has gender tags, trying to go after those gender tags as well?
Ironically enough, the application of 'gay' to homosexuals in English is derived from the French, where in theater in the 19th century, males who played female roles were identified as Le Gay. and Le designated the masculine gender. (I told my students that words have gender, people have sex. I didn't create that comparison, but I always believed it was accurate.)

What is going on here is not just being woke, but self importance by people who can sit on Twitter or whatever and spout and feel like THEY are the center of the world.

I love the free entertainment when these Hollyweird/"celebrity" types fight each other over who/which is the most "woke"

I have no idea who Sam Smith is. I am sure he realized during his introduction by Elton John, musical deity, that correcting Sir Elton would seem about as petty and trivial as a "Sam Smith" could get. To have it happen by the EVEN MORE insignificant twitter crowd is a priceless testament to where we are in history.

Okay, this snippet had me laughing in my coffee mug. 'Doesn't understand what is living in his underpants'. ROFL
Elton John has been on the outs with the gay community in the US since he came out and criticized them for forcing ssm onto the straight people. He says that gay Europeans use Civil Unions which are set up pretty much the same. Only thing saving Elton right now from complete shunning is his activism regarding AIDS.

From one of the tweets: Calling a non-binary person “he” instead of “they” is an act of cisheteronormative violence.
What a $50 pantload of made up nonsense THAT is!! Sorry, Sweetie, but while you are free to entertain your psychoses in your little rainbow world, don't expect me to join you there!!

Sam Smith? You mean the one who rose to fame by ripping off a Tom Petty tune? And who sang a song Sunday night which is only notable for the fact that its title was cribbed from a far more interesting John Lennon composition? That Sam Smith?
