Virginia Governor Ralph Northam joined a growing number of states in issuing a stringent "stay at home" order on Monday, telling residents to remain in their homes except for essential purposes until June 10. Many states and municipalities across the country have already issued stay at home or "shelter in place" orders as the coronavirus pandemic continues to spread rapidly. Announcing the executive order on Monday, Northam said: "I want to be clear: Do not go out unless you need to go out. This is very different than wanting to go out." The executive order from Northam, a Democrat, is

And the majority of these edicts are coming from pan-democrat rulers like Governor "Me Too!" here in NC. It's like they're all trying to outdo each other as to who can be the most autocratic. Of course, since most of them have the largest concentration of population and are woefully underprepared for most catastrophes, it stands to reason. So since criminals rarely obey the law, what are these governing idiots going to do if the mobs decide it's time to "purge" the system and take to the street en masse?

Prediction: Trump waits this out a few more weeks and then puts folks back to work. Dem governors will oppose and order their states to continue to shelter in place. Workers will revolt and remember in Nov. Trump in a landslide!

My sister just texted me about that. She and my brother-in-law are financially set, but they consider this a major inconvenience, since they have other properties to maintain. They’re not happy. Just so you know, they’re both democrats. Maybe not for long.

A friends son and wife left Statin Island this morning headed for their summer home in FL. Stopped once on the Shore for gas and bathroom. Wish they had waited to drop their cooties elsewhere.

The liberal Democrat Governors know that President Trump wants to get the country and the economy moving again as soon as it it safe. Those Democrats Governors are going to resist Trump opening back up the country and the economy for as long as they can get away with doing that.

June 10? Why not August 10? or December 10? The economy is cratering already, this idiotic edict is going to put the depression into cement. Someone needs to take this to the SC in VA and have Gov Racist removed.

RE #11:
They should have stayed put. I live in NE FL and our Republican governor has set up checkpoints on the borders. Anyone with license plates from the NY Tri-State area is being stopped and screened. Then they are told that they must self-quarantine for 14 days. Failure to do so will result in 60 days in the pokey. This is extended to LA residents as well, BTW, given that NOLA is now a hotbed.
These people wanted to live in the city. Now they can just stay the hell there in their happy little paradise!!

It's going to be quite entertaining come mid-May after POTUS has put half the country back to work and these Marxist/Commie Democraps/Little-Hitlerites are issuing court summons to Stay at Home violators.
Hey Mr Black Face. Howz that gun confiscation deal working out for you? Watch Virginia literally break up into separate political enterties in the near future. Pizz enough people of enough times and they will react with vigor! Film at 11PM. HaHaHa....

june 10th. thats an entire economic quarter of complete economic shutdown. they are trying very hard to hit that magical 50% decline in GDP so they can campaign on the worst economic crash in history. they think we the people are beyond stupid. They will campaign in one place shrieking how much less apocalyptic the Wu-Flu would have been had Trump shut everything down sooner and thenin the same breath
blame Trump for the crashed economy because everything was shut down.
Somehow i think all the voters will remember is the fact that it was all the Dem Governors holding their states in lockdown without pay for four months.

The Democrat governors are the same as the media....they are trying to destroy Trumps economy. These governments are losing Big $$$ daily in taxes, most Democrat states were already broke. The y will be insisting in Big bail outs $$$$$ .Trump should never have closed the government, big mistake. It gave the dems their big chance to do things their way. All restaurants in Virginia are closed except take out, all beauty barber & nail salons closed, malls closed, clothing stores closed, alcohol stores open with 57% increase in sales, routines Dr appointment cancelled , abortions available.... Virginia is one big mess

Is the governor including himself in his little edict? The people should not see him on TV since no one can leave home to film him. What about the media? How can they report on the "crisis"? The people should stake out the governor's mansion and make sure the tinpot obeys his own edicts. No secret meetings with other leftists for him. Coming or going.

2 weeks. 2 months. 2 years. They're pulling these numbers out of their anus. They tell us the virus mutates, i.e. we'll never be safe. Life as we know it is about to end. I'd like to see my church and all others announce they're open for Easter. It's time for some good old-fashioned civil disobedience.
