Towards the end of Monday’s Good Morning America, ABC’s Chief White House Correspondent Jonathan Karl got the opportunity to plug his new tell-all book about covering President Trump to co-anchor George Stephanopoulos. Though the interview was very short, the two journalists managed to fit in as much Trump-bashing as they could. Karl bemoaned to Stephanopoulos that the president was the same man now as he was in 2016, and his “mental illness” was being spun as a good leadership quality, by his own staff.

After three years I have come to the conclusion the media and democrats are defining mental illness as Trump wanting to think for himself and use his own experience and commonsense. That stuff is never apparent in the Left's way of doing things. Since they do not understand it, it must be mental illness.

The Enemedia have this Big Lie that they have been pumping for 3 years...."Trump's mental illness". Yeah, right. The smartest and most capable President in many decades, and the literal mental cases in the Enemedia say that HE is the nutty one? Talk about projection, Hah!
Best President in my lifetime.

Why do they always have to lie? You would think that journalists would always be honest in their quotes attributed to the president. I saw and heard what he said. He did not say he would open the country by Easter. He said he would love to have that happen. Two different things. As far as being "obsessed" with the ratings goes, after all those years doing his own show, this is a natural thing. Ratings count on TV.

Jon Karl is a tiresome twit. This is another pathetic effort by Jon-boy to defame and discredit the best president our country has ever had. Jon should stop whining and get a real job. He is aging. And not well.

These media guys just can't struggle out of their mental straitjackets. Mulvaney said something interesting (reportedly), and they can't do anything with it. I think many of us here would agree that Donald Trump is an eccentric genius. A lot of what seems eccentric is just his being open, candid, and humorous. And when he floats a goal like re-opening by Easter, or when he says he's considering a quarantine of NYC, he's just doing a "Notice of Proposed Rule-making" in an informal and more efficient way. These leadership differences are interesting and should be remarked on, not just used as hate fodder.
But another aspect of his eccentricity is just, well, eccentric. The part where he talks about his ratings being so high is a good example. Because I like Trump, I find it endearing. Kind of like fans of pianist Glen Gould smiled when he talked or grunted during a recital. And If it helps to insulate him from his lunatic opposition, it has to be viewed as a great asset. Small minded haters, of course, will see it differently.

Trump's "mental illness" caused him to stand head and shoulders above the bowls of pablum he ran against, drew the votes of the sanest and most patriotic people on the planet and has produced three years of wild success. If this is crazy then he's crazy and so are we.

Since the media has lost their cushy focus in White House briefings and their ratings are now moles (underground), they are writing worthless books full of their screed. They babble amongst themselves, patting each other on the back. They are worthless and do damage to your yard as well.

Our president may do things that are outside the mold of the typical politician president, but eccentric? I don’t agree. He is unique in that he is doing just what he promised to do. The politicians talk a lot and do little or nothing. (see Lindsey Graham) Really successful businessmen do not color within the lines. Really smart people do plod down the same well-trodden paths. President Trump has “the vision thing”. He seems to be a pretty good judge of human nature and can see pretty far down the road. And he does something about it.
Like many of us less unique persons, he does not suffer fools nor does he allow himself to be used as a punching bag by the likes of Jon-boy and little Georgie.

Almost every great leader is accused of being mentally ill - throughout history. It is because they have abilities that the common man cannot even fathom. Great leaders ARE NOT average people. They are exceptional.
From the BBC: " Donald Trump is not the first president to be called unhinged. But many of his predecessors are thought to have endured mental health conditions ranging from social anxiety to bipolar disorder and even psychopathy." According to the British, all of our presidents have been mentally ill, but of course, their monarchy has always been known for their mental acuity /s

Two biased liars are in no position to judge anyone. ABC really should be kicked off public airwaves for repeated, calculated lying and Karl should be sued for slander. Our 'justice' system should be ashamed for excusing georgie the punk, but imprisoning Dinesh D'Souza. If the fallout from this year is blood in the streets in the near future I hope georgie and karl get some of the justice they deserve.

What a sick b*st*rd Jonathan Karl is! Really?! If you don't like Mr. Trump, that's fine. I don't like Hillary or Obama. But how twisted must one's brain be to suggest that Mr. Trump is mentally ill -- and that makes him good in a crisis? That's just sick.

I was in one of those stores the other day where everything is $1.
They had a box of books that were 2 for $1. Many of them were political books written by lie-beral writers. And from the look at the dust on them, I'm guessing they had been there with no takers for a very long time.
This book is heading that direction very quickly!!!!!
