President Trump condemned PBS reporter Yamiche Alcindor for asking him a question about a claim he made during an interview with Sean Hannity on Fox News. During a press conference on Sunday, Alcindor asked, "Mr. President, I have two questions. The first is, you said repeatedly that you think some of the equipment that governors are requesting, they don’t actually need. You said —" Trump cut her off, saying, "I didn’t say it. ... Why don’t you act in a little more positive? It's always trying to get me. Getcha, getcha. And you know what? That’s why nobody trusts the media anymore."

That is what I like about President Trump. He picks up their grenades and throws them back at these liberal democrat reporters.
The apologetic Presidents Bush have conditioned the press corps to be rude and disrespectful

There wouldn't be any PBS or NPR reporters is their funding were cut off. We need to eliminate waste of money.

Shut down PBS and NPR for the crisis and take the money for them and spend it on respirators. Now let's see what the press says about that!

Depending on the poll, 55-60% of Americans approve of the way President Trump is handling the Coronavirus threat -- and just about as many disapprove of the way the media are handling it. And yet the members of the media still think the public doesn't see their nasty bias toward the President.

More and more people are discovering each and every day what Conservatives have known for decades: that the people who comprise the “Press Corps” are stupid, dishonest, biased, shallow, petty, self-absorbed, childish and uninformative. Plus, with just a few exceptions, they are still practicing the politics of “who’s in the popular crowd” from their middle school days except now they do it professionally and call it journalism. Newsflash to the ace reporter Alcindor: it is possible to be black and still be a good reporter rather than a partisan hack.

I have a friend who is fairly apolitical. Watching these briefings every night, she can't believe how ignorant and rude the press are. Tonight she asked me "How are people like that even allowed in the room to address the President of the United States! They look so young and inexperienced and are just showing off for their bosses. How is this even allowed?"
Fortunately our great POTUS gives as good as he gets and then some. But this whole thing has really opened up some eyes, that I can tell you.

Sorry but I have always supported President Trump until now. His latest move to extend this business shut down, social distancing disaster is throwing this country into an economic ditch that will take a long time to climb out of. So many people losing jobs losing busineses it plays right into the Dems hands. He has been courageous till now. Why the 180? This virus will continue till it runs it's course no matter what. What we have settled on as a cure will prove worse than the disease. President Trump will be blamed no matter what. Sad times for my country and the President I had trusted.

The author still doesn't understand how President Trump operates. Yes, he will yank back on the leash for a rude question and then praise the reporter for toning it down. Much like training a puppy who doesn't know any better. He will tout "great" phone calls with goobers Nuisance and Coma while praising their hard work on behalf of their states. However, should they take a cheap shot like Coma's whining about ventilators, The Donald will hit them right back...what about the ventilators you could have had cheap but spent the money on illegals instead? As I said, much like training a puppy.
It appears some of the President's supporters have decided that because the Great Hunkering has been extended to the end of April, that is the extent of their support for a man who has been doing daily battle on our behalf for four years. Its certainly understandable to be chaffing against the extraordinary restrictions on our personal and economic freedoms. Indeed, such measures under Obamanation would be horrific and the fears expressed well founded. Who sits behind the Resolute desk makes all the difference in the world.
As well informed Trump is keeping the American public, it is certain he knows much more than we do regarding the virus and the functioning of our bureaucracies. The coup may still be ongoing even as the President gains power daily. If anyone in this country knows how to build a solid foundation for a towering edifice, it is Trump. In the last three years he poured a new economic foundation for the USA. During this crisis he has enlisted the aid, willing and unwilling, of our private sector from large corporations to Main Street businesses. America will come back like nothing ever seen before in our history. He knows more than I, regarding many more things than I can possibly imagine. The man has earned my faith, trust and loyalty.
I seem to remember reading somewhere that praising and doing good to one's enemies is to them like heaping coals upon their heads. God is at work in the world...and Donald J. Trump is his builder.

FTA: “He previously clashed with Alcindor, calling her questions ‘nasty.’” --- Not only are her questions nasty, but her persona appears to be arrogant, smug, and personally self-satisfying. In this household, the channel-changer gets an instant click.
#14- As #16 admirably expresses, President Trump knows much more than we do. He is walking a fine line as he tries to protect the lives and well-being of American citizens, as well as sustain this country’s economy. He is man with obvious God-given talents evidenced as a business tycoon, and the remarkable accomplishments his administration has achieved thus far despite the unrelenting “deep state” efforts to destroy him. He remains courageous and deserving of profound gratitude for taking the abuse he does on behalf of “we the people.” Godspeed and blessings, Mr. President.

Yamiche Alcindor is a frequent participant on Judy Woodruff’s PBS NewsHour and appears to be held in esteem by Ms. Woodruff and guests to the point of being able to see their glee and appreciation for Ms. Alcindor’s nasty questions to President Trump.

President Trump certainly has mastered how to pull the liberal media’s chain. But almost all of Trump’s so-called “butting heads” with the so-called mainstream (liberal) media are counterpunches.

The only time anyone hears NPR or PBS Is Trumps news conferences. The only time people see CNN
Or MSNBC is when Fox or Rush plays their clips . My guess is these so called reporters get together each day & decide the questions to be asked. Nothing is coincidental.

Now you know why Piglousi saw fit to give PBS some tax money. She considered it to be a bonus for doing a good job harassing the president.
Personally, I think all goobermint funds to PBS should be axed. There's plenty of TV channels now and they should operate on their own now and if they can't, well, too bad so sad.
