There has been some tantalizingly good news about the coronavirus in the past few days, not that you’d know it from the end-of-the-world treatment it gets in the press.
Of the 10 countries with the most COVID-19 cases, six showed declines in new reported cases over the past few days, including the United States. In France, the number has been flat for three days.
There hasn’t been a new case reported in China since early March, according to data from Worldometers.info. In South Korea, the number of new cases has stabilized at around 100 a day.
Meanwhile, data collected by

I do not believe there are no knew cases in China. And, we know there are cases in Hong Kong. So, is the CCP finally accepting Hong Kong is not part of China?

I am skeptical about the numbers. Living in rural NC, there are not many tests being done here. Also, not sure what is going on in other countries.
Any good news is still good news. Let's hope and pray all data graphs on this topic begin to trend downward.

I refuse to be scared. I don't go out willy-nilly but I do get groceries, take out food, go for walks and go to a local monastery to make a holy hour. I wash my hands and I take care. I miss my children and grandchildren deeply, but they won't come by in fear of exposing me to the virus. So we text.

The dims and msm will milk this disaster for all it is worth and for as long as possible even if the numbers the President's plan is winning.
I would like to believe the number of new cases is shrinking but, need more reliable information. Let's hope the latest numbers are accurate. I don't believe China has no new cases. Give me a break. And same for Russia.

I am skeptical of this study from Hong Kong. Chi-com’s are by nature liars and cheaters. Commies spin and skew and spew half-truths to make themselves look better. This article admits-at the end-that there are problems with the 2 studies. So, while that is of interest, I wouldn’t categorize them good news.

You bet they are. Good news don't increase viewer participation. I have turned off all news (FOX, CBS, NBC, ABC, MSNBC, CNN, etc). I tell all my friends to visit sites like this one to get their information.

This is the biggest, over hyped scam since the 2008 financial melt down. Who's getting paid off this time?

Where did the US suddenly get 35,000 cases? Faulty tests or true tests?

All Wuhan flu numbers out of China today are entirely manufactured by the propaganda ministry. I don't believe much that comes out of China, and very little info that gets out, especially on this topic is trustworthy.

Yes they are hyping the despair. Never let a cliff-edge go to waste - push America closer and then when they are really scared and malleable you might be able to get them agree to sacrifice more babies to Moloch. Go Trump!!

They are not only ignoring good news but they are systematically hyping up the negative to give it maximum scare potential. This is a flu not any worse than any virus this country has experienced over the past two centuries and more mild than most. My local Walmart has been fantastic and is doing business now in a near-normal way. Limiting purchase of packages of TP and paper towels did the trick on hoarding by the panicked sheeple. There isn't a case within a hundred miles of my town but the dim governor has all "non essential" businesses closed anyway. People are going to remember all of this incompetent government in the next election.

Of course they are. Why do you think that the NBC reporter jumped ugly on Trump about him and his offering hope instead of the panic that the media is selling? Panic is the personal fears of the media being pushed as news, when it is nothing more than their own nightmares shoved down the throats of the rest of us.
Hope kills the narrative of the media, and they won't stand for it.

#10, they have been warning for several days that "as more test kits get out there, there will be a rapid increase in reported cases, expect this" This is just better info, not an increase in rate of transmission. Just a smaller proportion of cases going unidentified.

From last night's news, about 240,000 tests have been administered. Confirmed ... uh... diseased/has the virus is just over 30k. (12%, not bad) SOME of those will need hospitalization. A problem with this bug is that the lungs suddenly fill with fluid that can be deadly and requires ventilators and about a ten day hospitalization....
....unless treated with chloroquine.... then no ventilators and 4-6 days. Studies and reported cases would indicate 4 days.
Trump pushed the FDA to allow this treatment last Thursday....Meaning that we should start seeing results from doctors who are not of the FDA/Faux-ci type. Once a few hospitals try this, news will spread.
