Increasingly Unstable Media Demand
Blackout of Trump’s Coronavirus Briefings

Original Article

America’s increasingly unstable and dangerous establishment media are calling for a full blackout of President Trump’s daily coronavirus press conferences. Think about that for a moment… For the first time since World War II, for the first time in nearly 80 years, Americans have no idea what their country will look like a year from now, and the corporate media want to impose a full blackout on the daily briefings the American president is making to the American people. There’s a lot of jokes out there about the hypocrisy of how this demand is coming from the same media that had a tantrum over the White House canceling the daily press briefings.

Comments:

The only thing I’d heard was a push to make these appearances informative and leave out the gotcha media and their questions, which add nothing but time...

Are they calling for Gov Cuomo's news conference not to be televised? I think FOX NEWS should leave this to local stations to cover. He rambles on and on. I just turned the TV on and he was talking about how hard it is not to give his daughter a hug. I turned it off.

W really need black outs of Cuomorons briefings. I’m sick of selling him on Fox. So I’m not watching Fox. I’m watching American Pickers and Brunch at Bobbys most of the time. Throw in a good First 48 marathon and I’m good.

So air soap operas or game shows. Nobody's watching those anyway. The White House should stream to YouTube and C-SPAN exclusively. Let CNN et al explain why they aren't airing it in real time.

Senator Lindsey Graham led a group of Republican Senators warning that they would oppose a swift passage of the economic rescue package unless changes are made to its unemployment benefits section. That prompted Vermont Senator Bernie Sanders to say he too would hold up the bill over his objections to the aid to U.S. businesses.(Snip)Proponents of the more generous benefits say that in the current situation, where many businesses have been closed by anti-pandemic efforts and workers are being urged to stay home, this objection is meritless. When people are told not to work for the sake of public health, disincentivizing work is not a serious problem.

LOS ANGELES - The Los Angeles County Sheriff told FOX 11 on Tuesday night that enforcement efforts to close down local gun stores have been suspended after intervention from the county’s legal counsel. Sheriff Alex Villanueva told FOX 11 reporter Bill Melugin that county counsel Mary Wickham issued an opinion that gun stores can be classified as essential businesses under the Governor’s statewide executive order. Sheriff Villanueva everything is now in “limbo”, and added he reached out to the Governor’s office to get clarification on how gun stores should be classified, but never got a response.

Democrats know the best case scenario now is that Minnesota is a battleground state. A state no Republican has carried in nearly 50 years was barely won in 2016. Putting Fräu Klobuchar (horse whinny) on the ticket may not be enough to stop President Donald John Trump from taking the Gopher State.
