On Thursday’s broadcast of CNN’s “Situation Room,” former National Security Adviser Susan Rice stated that China does deserve some blame for how it handled the coronavirus outbreak, and “China is not behaving well in trying to blame this on the United States. But the flip side of it is, we are not behaving well when we talk about, as the president does every day, the Chinese virus, the Wuhan flu, and all of these racist descriptions.” Rice said, “So, there’s a lot of blame to be placed on China in terms of how it handled its processes internally, how they treated their people, how they suppressed information.

Comments:

"Not behaving well???" You can't exactly give China a "time-out" for infecting half the freakin' WORLD with a deadly virus no one has ever seen before!! Why isn't she throwing the same tantrum about Ebola Virus, Hong Kong Flu, German Measles, Spanish Flu, etc.??? BTW, she has a LOT of nerve bringing up H1N1, given how her boss, the purple-lipped blunder only responded to it after A THOUSAND Americans had lost their lives to it!! Maybe she can get away with blaming the virus on a YouTube video!!

For a woman who should already be a couple years into a long, long jail sentence for her political use of her office to violate the civil rights of many of her political opponents, she's sure awfully talkative.

Do you think even Rice believes what she said? If so, she's as dumb as a rock. China hid news of the virus, silenced Chinese doctors who were trying to alert the world to the dangers of the virus, continued to allow travel among people that were infected with the virus, lied (and likely continues to lie) about the numbers of infected people and the number of deaths, blamed the United States Army (!!!) for the virus, etc. etc. ad nausea. President Trump called the virus that came from China, the Chinese virus. Are even Democrats this stupid? Apparently.

Referring to a virus by the location where it was first observed is a timeless convention. Calling Trump racist for following that convention (while not calling Chinese leaders LIARS for blaming the U.S. for the virus) helps remind me just how glad I was to get that Susan Rice miscreant out of her Obama-administration position as National Security Adviser.

From a 2014 article about the origins of the name "Ebola". The relationship between this that COVID-19 are kind of creepy... "The tradition continues today. Last year, after months of being called by a number of names, the newly discovered coronavirus finally got an official name -- Middle East respiratory syndrome coronavirus, or MERS-CoV." Rice said, “So, there’s a lot of blame to be placed on China in terms of how it handled its processes internally, how they treated their people, how they suppressed information." Well yeah, sure, that's pretty bad in view of how the CHINESE unleashed a new Hell on Earth, and it's wiping out human lives rather indiscriminately across the globe. But - damn Trump for calling it the China virus. Thanks Suzy - most of us could not have made such a glib comparison of what it means to not behave well.

The whole idea of trying to move away from the descriptive term "Wuhan virus" to a more generic term of COVID-19, was to reduce the connection (despite every other virus being named for the region/place it originated - i.e. ZIKA, EBOLA, etc.) and then open up the opportunity to blame TRUMP, all for Democrat political reasons. Just like Nancy Pelosi delaying the aid package, simply so they could enable Democrats to campaign on no aid package prior to Super Tuesday. Just like Nancy Pelosi then adding a clause to remove the Hyde Amendment, thus, opening up abortion funding from the Federal government - putting abortion over people's health.

So glad that O' Bumbles and his gang of Corruptocrats, like Rice, are no longer around. All they have to offer is non existent racism. At a minimum. I hope that some of BO's crooks get criminally charged and at least a few end up with convictions. Unfortunately, a lot of the damage they did falls under bad politics. People voted for them and they used that to do bad things. Thankfully, Trump has undone a lot of the damage they did.

Looks like Rice has no problem with the Chinese Communist Government of China putting out fake and misleading information that the corona virus was introduced into China by the US Army.

The Whole of America   On March 13, President Trump declared a “whole of America approach” to fighting the coronavirus. And on March 17, he reinforced that point, tweeting, “The world is at war with a hidden enemy. WE WILL WIN!” And at his press conference on March 18, the self-described “wartime president” emphasized, “We’re going to win, we’re going to come back.” Thus we can see, the president is determined to set a tone of militant activist optimism; he pledged a stronger healthcare system in the future, but before we get there, he added, “We have to win the war first.”

Coronavirus shutdowns are forcing historically unprecedented changes to celebrations of Easter and Passover, with many religious institutions canceling or moving their services online. Easter, the most important feast in Christianity, falls on April 12 this year. In the Catholic Church, where the day is preceded by Holy Week, which includes a series of special masses and other services, several dioceses are already canceling the public celebration of those events. Catholic bishops in Ohio on Monday decided to cancel all public Easter masses in the state, a decision made in keeping with Republican Gov. Mike DeWine’s ban on all public gatherings of 100 or more people.

There are three accounts in the New Testament of Jesus Christ feeding a multitude of people with a handful of loaves of bread and a few small fish. In the Gospel of Matthew, the number of people is listed as 4,000. In the Gospels of Luke and Mark, the number is stated to be 5,000. According to all three gospels, large crowds of people follow Jesus into a remote area, where he preaches to them for several hours. (The account in Matthew says that the crowds are with Jesus for "three days"). Christ's disciples advise him to send the crowds away to get food and drink.

MSNBC host Rachel Maddow has demanded that networks stop airing White House updates about the coronavirus pandemic, excoriating President Donald Trump for making optimistic promises about an unproven drug to treat the infection. 'I know we ought to be getting used to this kind of thing by now, but I'm not,' Maddow said on her show Friday night. The incident occurred Friday afternoon, while the Commander-in-chief was giving the media an update on the COVID-19 outbreak flanked by members of the White House Coronavirus Task Force team, which includes Dr Fauci. The highly-respected immunologist looked to roll his eyes and suppress laughter as Trump lashed out at the State Department, describing them as the 'Deep State department'. Dr Fauci then placed his hand over his face, in what many described as a 'face palm' reaction to Trump's inflammatory remarks.

Homeowners who have lost income or their jobs because of the coronavirus outbreak are getting some relief. Depending on their situation, they should be eligible to have their mortgage payments reduced or suspended for up to 12 months. Federal regulators, through the mortgage giants Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac, are ordering lenders to offer homeowners flexibility. CNN commentator Chris Cuomo admonished President Trump for repeatedly calling the coronavirus "the Chinese virus." “Calling it the Chinese virus or the Wuhan virus or the Kung Flu. Listen, you may think it's clever, but it's hurting,” Cuomo said on his nightly show on Wednesday. “The idea, ‘Well, it did come from China.’ Then why doesn't Fauci and other top health officials, why don’t they call it that? You know why? Because it could have come from anywhere.” The virus, which has sparked a global pandemic, is believed to have originated in an animal market in Wuhan, China. Trump has said he uses the phrase "Chinese virus" for accuracy purposes.
