A former associate director of a US biotechnology company is facing up to seven years in prison in China after allegedly hiding her coronavirus symptoms and flying from Los Angeles to Beijing in hopes of receiving treatment. This story sounds highly suspect to me. Why would anyone fly to China for medical treatment?

Why do we permit a Chinese national to be running a biotech firm in the USA? This is just stupid.

If this is true what it hints to me is that the Chinese have a remedy that they are not sharing. How else can you explain (if you believe it) that they don't have any new cases over there and someone who is familiar with diseases leaves the country (USA) that is supposed to be the premier country for finding a cure?

I think she is a spy and was called home. Problem is she got sick and didn't want to ''feel shame'' and disappoint her Chinese masters, so tried to get a quick fix. When that didn't work, they all fled under cover of night back to Red China.

#5, it's an old Chinese secret potion. A bit of ground rhino horn, some tiger eye, toe from a bat, spit from a virgin under the age of 15, and a few other special ingredients.

When there are Chinese citizens in the USA running US Biotech companies anything can happen. This occurrence is very fishy, but of course the Democrats would say that it is racist and xenophobic for the US to investigate this matter further. That’s how stupid about half the country has become!

The first case in TN was Chris Baumgardner who was at THAT Biotech meeting where this Chinese woman infected dozens of people who in turn took it home and infected dozens more. We only have her word on the failed attempts to get tested.

I'm having trouble believing her story about being unable to get tested or treated. And who the heck flies to China for treatment? Something off about this story.

Her husband also is a Chinese national, and thanks to our foolish birthright citizenship policy (yet to be reversed), their child might even be a US citizen. Chamber of Commerce types say H1-B visa workers like this honest person are vital to the economy because an American mathematician burdened by student loans would take a slightly larger bite of the corporate profits.
