Oh hell yeh I'll cash it. I don't know how many times in the past I've paid it. And it will go immediately into an S&P 500 fund. Invest the government's printed money in the US economy.

I don't think it will help if nothing is open. That is the only time when we recover. It will happen but I don't know when. I am confused by it all. The numbers don't add up to the hysteria.

Don't worry L-Dotters, probably no one on this site qualifies for the money. We're only qualified to supply it. People who've lose a lot in the market, retirees and working people can forget about it, because the less fortunate basement dwellers and beer swigging porch denizens are the ones suffering. If you haven't filed income tax or don't have a valid W-2, you're not working and therefore, you're not losing any wages, and shouldn't be eligible for any payments.

This is pandering. This is free stuff. Pouring money down a hole is what Dems do. The people who really need a check have never voted Republican, if they have voted at all, let alone Trump. The money will be spent on drugs, alcohol, cigarettes, cell phones.
I am adamantly opposed to this goobermint giveaway. What I want goobermint to do is get off my back and get out of the way.
If I get a check, I will use it to pay my income taxes and my tax preparer---- unless someone can give me a more cynical use of it.

I'm sorry but I really want the details of this program. Not for nothing but my entire family voted for President Trump. I was forced to sell our home after the last tax relief program from this Administration where they reduced property tax deductions over $10,000 dollars.
If all these bailouts are going to anybody but hard working Americans, count me out. I can accept a lot of things, but I'm tired of being played a fool by anybody! And that includes President Trump.
It is long past time for this President to realize that his policies, as much as I support them in principle, are hurting those of us who are actually working and living and dying to support all these government interests who are only interested in destroying him.

Don't really need it? Give it to a charity, or a food bank. Perhaps go to a local hospital and help pay off someone's outstanding bill.

Democrats will get their ' guaranteed minimum income'. Don't think the checks will ever stop. There will be a 'devistating' reason for more money every year.

If you don't want it, fine, but I sure do. I can certainly use it. And has everyone forgotten the $300 W gave us to get the economy going again? I don't know the criteria for getting the money, tho, I may not qualify but I suspect I do.

I don't see myself getting the money. On the last giveaway, I didn't qualify even though I needed it. What I worry about is how many in one household will receive a check? I understand the vote was stopped today because Rand Paul wanted recipients to show SS numbers. As in Americans. The audacity!

We don't need the money, but we decided that we are just getting some of our tax dollars back. We will invest it in good American companies to help them recover.
And I don't blame President Trump for doing this at all. Our economy was flying along under President Trump's leadership, and this is just his way to take Demon-Rat talking points off the table for November.

If workers are guaranteed their wages even tho they don't have a job, what's the purpose for the $2,000? SS & SSI people will still get their checks; Medicare and Medicaid have been expanded for more entitlement, etc. Store shelves are empty, so what's the $2K for?

Of course it will be taxable, #8. I remember one $500 gift, think it was under W. When tax return time came, you had to add the entire thing back in as a tax liability. So it was nothing more than a payday loan. Call me a hypocrite, but when mine come, we're tithing then sticking them directly in savings. I told my wife last night these massive welfare plans are the death rattle before a lib president gets voted in. Pray and prepare. We are.
