While the media continues parroting Chinese Communist Party (CCP) propaganda in the face of the Wuhan virus, the Trump administration is firing back. In response to the outrageous charge from a Chinese Ministry of Foreign Affairs spokesperson that the U.S. Army might have been behind the transmission of the Chinese coronavirus to Wuhan, the State Department Friday summoned the Chinese ambassador to the United States. CBS News reports that Ambassador Cui Tiankai met with Deputy Secretary for East Asia David Stillwell, wherein Stillwell corrected the record with what CBS’s sources described as “a very stern representation of the facts.” (Snip) State Department officials said the purpose of the diplomatic dressing down

China expert Michael Pillsbury, on Levin last night, said that the Chinese have been surprised by the Trump administration’s strength after the weakness of the previous administrations.

The MSM (Main Stream Morons) are suffering a pandemic of fear, rumor, and fake news. It will not recover. Any news, including FOX, is now unwatchable. Few facts, lots of opinion, speculation, and fear mongering by people who must say something, since they are on TV....

Agreed OP. I think all the foreign leaders have been very surprised and have had their eyes opened big time. They bought into the narrative of the media, and now they have seen for themselves what a great leader should be. China has had its own way for so long, they are not used to being challenged. Trump challenges them. We have to fight this evil media and their propaganda, or we lose our nation forever.

Prognosis of main stream media: Terminal. They finally really jumped the Shark. All the coronavirus scare tactics are hurting people. Went out for lunch today. There were so few people in the restaurant it might as well been closed. This is what the media and the rest of the Trump-haters have wrought. Recall the Chinese media demanding a response from Washington regarding the 'rumors' that the CIA had infected China. Sounds like the Trump administration set them straight rather than go wobbly. Trump won't be bullied. Trump will hold China accountable for their actions. Unlike previous administrations.

#1 they fancy themselves as a dragon ... what they have awoken is St. George. This has gone on through history: the British thought they would rule us, the Germans and Japanese though they would defeat us; the Russians thought they would bury us; the Japanese thought they could buy us, and now China thinks they can bully us.... history does not change, just the names and the faces. And before we get all worked up about snowflakes and all of that noise, remember we went through flower power in the 60's and the strung-out 70's and still drove a stake through the heart of the Soviet Empire in the 80's. We are far more stronger, have a much deeper faith, and are prepared to make much bigger sacrifices than the media wants you too believe. The media wants you to think that we are weak so that we act weak. They are wrong.

The Chicoms, like the Democrat Party and most of the media, are serial liars. My wife goes to a hairdresser who was born in South Korea. She married a US serviceman and moved here. She also picked up a soldier's large vocabulary of foul language. She loathes the Chinese and uses some very non-family friendly words to describe what she thinks of them...thieves and liars are just the beginning words on what she thinks of them. I am making a concerted effort to not buy anything made in the PRC. It's tough to do and will make you realize how much stuff we buy from those people.

Obama-era whistleblower Philip Haney was found dead with a gunshot wound to his chest last month in Amador County, California and while an investigation into the cause and manner of his death is ongoing, two Republican lawmakers who knew him have indicated that he was, in fact, murdered. Haney, one of the founding members of the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), exposed the Obama Administration’s dangerously P.C. national security policies in 2015 and 2016, and was reportedly in recent “contact with top officials about returning to work for the DHS.” The whistleblower was said to have kept a thumb drive around his neck containing sensitive government data about Islamic extremists and

Sometime in late November the Chinese Communist Party apparat was aware that the ingredients of some sort of an epidemic were brewing in Wuhan. Soon after, it was also clear to them that a new type of coronavirus was on the loose, a threat they might have taken more seriously given the similar Chinese origins of the prior toxic SARS coronavirus and the resources of a Level 4 virology lab nearby. Yet the government initially hid all that knowledge from its own people in particular and in general from the world at large. Translated into American terms, that disingenuousness ensured that over 10,000 Chinese nationals and foreigners living in China flew

The current coronavirus disease, Covid-19, has been called a once-in-a-century pandemic. But it may also be a once-in-a-century evidence fiasco. At a time when everyone needs better information, from disease modelers and governments to people quarantined or just social distancing, we lack reliable evidence on how many people have been infected with SARS-CoV-2 or who continue to become infected. Better information is needed to guide decisions and actions of monumental significance and to monitor their impact. Draconian countermeasures have been adopted in many countries. If the pandemic dissipates — either on its own or because of these measures — short-term extreme social distancing and lockdowns

A Belgian doctor working to battle the coronavirus says he’s treated several seriously ill young patients — and their lung scans were “nothing short of terrifying,” according to reports. Dr. Ignace Demeyer, who works at a hospital in Aalst, said an increasing number of people between the ages of 30 and 50 have presented with severe symptoms, despite having “blank medical records” that show no underlying conditions that would make them high-risk, the Brussels Times reported. “They just walk in, but they are terribly affected by the virus,” Demeyer told the Belgian broadcaster VRT.

A nasty respiratory illness had been spreading through the Life Care Center nursing home in Kirkland, Wash., for at least nine days when a sick resident was taken to a hospital on Feb. 19. The resident, and another hospitalized Feb. 24, were later diagnosed with covid-19, the illness caused by the coronavirus, according to the facility. They were two of the earliest cases in the country’s deadliest cluster to date in the pandemic. But the home’s managers had believed since early February that they were facing a surge of influenza, which was common for the facility, said a spokesman for the Life Care Center.

When new, virulent diseases emerge, such SARS and Covid-19, the race begins to find new vaccines and treatments for those affected. As the current crisis unfolds, governments are enforcing quarantine and isolation, and public gatherings are being discouraged. Health officials took the same approach 100 years ago, when influenza was spreading around the world. The results were mixed. Some hard-won experience from the greatest pandemic in recorded history could help us in the weeks and months ahead.(Snip) severely ill flu patients nursed outdoors recovered better than those treated indoors.

Democratic debates in times of coronavirus make for even less interesting television than during normal times, whatever that means in the Trump era. In Sunday night’s debate, Bernie Sanders had a double task. For the believers, to make a last pitch that he is the better candidate (which, in terms of the presidency, he clearly is). He probably achieved neither, as Biden stole the show, by announcing (cleverly) that he will pick a female vice-presidential candidate, a progressive weak point of Sanders (who
