Democratic presidential candidate Joe Biden made extreme remarks during CNN’s presidential debate on Sunday night, suggesting that he would end the oil industry’s ability to drill, would ban new fracking projects, and would take millions of cars off the road.
“No more subsidies for fossil fuel industry, no more drilling on federal lands, no more drilling including offshore, no ability for the oil industry to continue to drill,” Biden said. “Period. Ends.”(Snip for tweet) “No new fracking and, by the way, on the Recovery Act, I was able to make sure we invested $90 billion in making sure we brought down the price of solar

So is this idiot going to park AF1 and the Beast? Walk everywhere and only use mass transit? I didn't think so. None for thee all for me.

Subsidies for Tesla, in the form of tax credits, would continue however.

This is such a stupid idea. What about the people who can't afford to buy a new electric car? What about the people who take mass transportation? What about the dumb politicians who jump on private jets to go make speeches? What about Hollywood which run all over the world making movies using private jets and taking cars and trucks hauling props and food and costumes, etc. ? Those two Socialists are not in the real world.

Joe , you can bring the price of solar down to just above free and it's still a waste of money unless you live in the southernmost sliver of this country.

You first. You park YOUR cars. Oh, that's right. You don't need cars because we buy them for you. Okay, park the cars WE give you. Then I'll listen to you.

I don't want to give the government the power to stop oil companies from drilling, or to take millions of cars off the roads, or tell people over 65 or 70 to stay in their homes, or much of anything else. Don't worry if people are fat, discriminate based on their predilections, or whatever. And remember that taxpayers are not the world's insurance company, picking up the tab for other people's calamities, when none of them have paid in any insurance premiums. Thank you, government, for attending to my concerns, you always disappoint!

The Democrats have gone FULL RETARD. None of what he or Sander's are selling to the electorate will be taken seriously by the majority. Trump is already re-elected!

Um...just a couple thoughts - 'Joe' made sure 'WE' invested 90 Billion to bring Down the price of solar? Let's think about that for a sec. That 90 B came from taxpayers and if we''re comparing prices of energy - you have to count the 90 Billion as part of the cost. And what exactly IS the cost of solar? Anybody saving boodles of money over this? (Still waiting on my savings from the electric company now that I have very expensive, not-nearly long lasting twisty light bulbs. And the water I've saved with my low flow bathroom fixtures is more responsible for rising oceans but no actual monetary savings there either.) Now how does it compare next to coal and gas? How much does gov't (taxpayers) kick in there? Does solar pay taxes in like coal and gas do? And if we ARE moving in the direction of solar and wind - what's the hurry? Why must it be done by next week (or we're all going to die!!)? And the rest of the globe will still be using gas and coal - so what do you suppose will become of our natural resources still in the ground? Just wondering.

Oh, there's a lot of fracking and drilling going on all right and its all in Biden's head. The sick part about it is, the democratic voters are so freakin ignorant, so illiterate that they actually support this guy. Got it...

If Biden wants to give everyone free health care, free college, and all the other freebies, why not a free Tesla to everyone? Just tax the rich a little more...

The wimpy Republicans have to make sure that the country realizes Biden’s extreme positions on important issues, and that Biden has usually been wrong on almost every issue during his forty year liberal Democrat DC Congressional career. Just a few weeks ago while China was seeking to Secret the existence of the corona virus epidemic in Wuhan, Biden claimed that he knows China and that China is no threat to the USA, another instance that can be be chalked up as another Biden failure of judgement.
For all intents and purposes China has unleashed, either intentionally or unintentionally, a very serious biological and economic warfare attack against the world with their Wuhan created corona virus. It is obvious that anyone who has been paying attention, that the Monday morning quarterbacking Biden, who has been telling President Trump to take steps to fight the corona virus pandemic that Trump and his team have already taken while fraudulently labeling those steps as the Biden Plan, along with some yet unidentified liberal Democrat lawyer-politician who will be picked because of his or her race and gender by the leftist and liberal Democrat leadership as Biden’s vice-President, will not be the people in high office who would effectively fight the Wuhan corona virus and/or hold China responsible for all the economic and human carnage that their Wuhan corona virus has been causing, and will cause to the USA, and other countries across the globe.

I remember getting rid of the 'clunkers' campaign. The folks that needed some sort of a car for transportation in the low end of the income spectrum couldn't buy a car to get to work. Welfare went up along with SNAP. Biden would be Obama admin. 2.0
