Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg, a four-time cancer survivor, turns 87 on Sunday. That’s it. That’s all you really need to know for the 2020 presidential election if you’re a Democrat or left-leaning moderate. “RBG is 87” is the slogan to emblazon on the buttons, bumper stickers, ball caps and other campaign merch in your effort to win the votes of sulky progressives now threatening to sit out the election since their favorite candidate is unlikely to get the party’s nomination for president. Liberal icon Ginsburg is not only by far the oldest justice now serving, she’s also the

Not just old white people, but elderly white people. Inclusion and Diversity for Dems appears to be just like Tolerance and Acceptance. Do what I say, not what I do.

I can't think of any other reason more important to Trump's reelection than replacing this Black robed Demigod who wipes here behind with the Constitution. And if Trump does replace her, it will be the first conservative 5-4 SCOTUS since the Founding Father's Roberts will no longer be able to pretend he is a conservative and can join the other 3 liberals making up stufff to keep Obambicare and other 'rights' alive.

Will cancer get us first or COVID-19? One should not wish someone ill. But there are exceptions. If Hitler got cancer would you pray for his speedy recovery?

Yes, the country would definitely be better off if RBG was replaced by yet another Justice who will be anxious to flush the Constitution in a heartbeat.

Justice Gisburg is holding out until the very end for the sake of Abortion, the "holy grail" of liberal politics.
I do not wish her harm, but at some point, like ALL the rest of us, she will assume room temperature.
She and the corrupt Salons of BOTH parties which have made a career of 'public service' need to be term limited.
There is a very LONG LIST of persons who have served in excess of 25 years in government that do very little to actually SERVE their constituents. With the exception of Supreme Court Justices, the VOTERS cannot directly remove them from office when they are unable to honestly do their jobs.
The JUDICIAL ACTIVISM cannot be stopped-- those "deriving their power from the consent of the governed" need to have a check and balance on things such as this for those beyond the age of 75.

I think RBG is THE reason the Dems are so frantic, desperate, crazy. Also, we've got some aging Conservatives on the Court... openings for the next Dem authoritarian. They will do almost anything to defeat President Trump, and they have a couple --a few-- billionaires working toward this too. A picture of their success was buying the House, and sending a once proud, free State like Virginia, into a swift descent into anti-Constitutionalism. We really are on the precipice, standing there with millions who don't have a clue.

More radical leftist judges like RBG maybe we could adopt the South African Constitution that seems to be working so well!

I think those are great bumper stickers, ball caps, buttons and. T-shirts to pump up Republican voters. It's just as important to us to see to her replacement.

Yes, it actually should because judicial appointments are one of the most permanent things that presidents do. This is not anything new. The fight against Kavanaugh showed that the Left is acutely aware of the issue. The chances are excellent that the SCOTUS will be 6-3 by the end of Trump's second term and a good chance for 7 - 2 since Breyer is 81. The next oldest is Thomas who is 71 and will hopefully serve at least another decade.
The possibility of replacing RBG is strong motivation for Republicans to reelect Trump and hold the Senate at the current or better level.
