Just a few months before the Covid-19 outbreak, an exercise was held by world elites called Event 201, where they simulated a global pandemic of a coronavirus that transmitted from bats to humans. Taking place in October, the event was hosted by Johns Hopkins Center for Health Security, Bloomberg School Of Public Health, World Economic Forum, and the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation. The simulation analyzed the health impacts, as well as the economic, lifestyle, and trade fallout from the virus. The Event 201 scenario Event 201 simulates an outbreak of a novel zoonotic coronavirus transmitted from bats to pigs to people that eventually becomes efficiently transmissible

There are relatively few cases of COVID-19 in the Southern Hemisphere which is still coming out of summer. This suggests that it may be sensitive to warm temperatures, higher humidity, and increased UV light exposure. The simulation may have underestimated the benefits of climate change in killing the spread of this virus. We just need to get past the next few months without breaking the health care infrastructure. This will give us time to eat all the soup and ramen that we have stockpiled. I don't think COSCO is going to let you return those pallets of toilet paper and Clorox wipes though.

Lots of worst possible case assumptions there. I don't buy it at all.

Why would they think of a virus so similar to what we have now? There is so much more to this virus than we will ever know. It’s origin, for starters.

Thank you Number 4. I’m glad someone else was bothered by how eerily similar their simulation was to what is happening now. Creepy.

Now we're getting down to it. Gates was in league with China.

#4 & 5, this stuff is relatively repetitive, and not at all unknown. The only fake part is it coming out of Brazil rather than China where almost all of this stuff originates, in their medieval farming practices, feeding chick and goose poop to pigs. This provides avian viruses into the pigs GI tract, where they are damaged and then mixed with pig viruses, creating new hybrid avian-mammalian viruses. A new strain ever year.
Nothing at "eerie" about this sim, or it's basic outline, but the assumptions on transmissability, and on deadliness are at the extreme end of the spectrum, to make the sim "interesting". Assume it is at the other end, BORING, nothing big happens.

For people who would like more information about the nature of viruses in general and in particular, novel viruses like H1N1, Covid-19 and other coronaviruses, I'd suggest watching "Pandemic; How to Prevent an Outbreak" on Netflix. It's a series that looks at many aspects of the nature of these things. It's well done and informative.
There are occasionally some slight digs at the Trump administration (we can't escape that anywhere!), but all in all the science behind it is valid and not based on fear-mongering or panic.
I find it helpful to get as much scientifically-based information as possible in order to wade through the media hysteria.

There are some very powerful people in this world who believe they are qualified to rule over the rest of us. While they may be considered philanthropists, they could also have some very wacky ideas about population control and their ability to act as God. Nothing motivates people like a God complex. It feeds their ego and the sanctimony they feel is almost addictive. I do not trust these globalists who see themselves as saviors and see the rest of us as collateral damage. Situational ethics can rationalize some very scary stuff. Once we put ourselves on par with God, anything we do is reasonable to someone who denies the authority of God. Some men just cannot live knowing there is a higher power that is the ultimate authority. It has been the factor that has separated us from God since Lucifer fell from heaven. Man wants to be boss.

Thank you #4 and #5.
Simulation runs are fairly routine, yet this one had high-profile backers and prominence, not to mention eerie similarity to the ChiCom virus.
QUESTION: why have NYT, WaPo and the others all passed on this refresher? Surely others have already submitted their contemporary recap to the editors of those papers of record. Yet we're seeing it first in Gateway Pundit?
