Biden blames Trump for ‘colossal’
coronavirus failures, releases plan to

Seeking to draw a contrast with President Donald Trump's handling of the coronavirus pandemic, Joe Biden on Thursday slammed the president's approach as a "colossal" failure and offered his own plan to deal with the crisis. "We will lead by science," the 2020 front-runner said during an address from his hometown of Wilmington, Delaware. "Downplaying it, being overly dismissive, or spreading misinformation is only going to hurt us and further advantage the spread of the disease," (Snip)"This virus laid bare the severe shortcomings of the current administration. Public fears are being compounded by a pervasive lack of trust in this president fueled by adversarial relationships with the truth that he continues

Comments:

I call that a political speech. Even NBC remarks that this was intended to project “competence”. He fled the podium immediately after the speech, taking no questions.

Now, Joe, about the truth. Lets talk about Cornpop and your arrest in Soweto while trying to meet Mandela...

old Jo was spectacularly disgusting! He is attempting to gain a perfect political advantage, and I hope the voters are too smart to buy his 'malarkey.' I suspect his handlers, including his adulterous wife, spent a good part of yesterday and this morning, programming Old Jo. "Listen carefully, Old Jo! Read the teleprompters, use the barack bobblehead style, don't add one damned thing to the script! Be sincere, don't mess with your teeth, and above all, don't answer any questions.' We have seen what will be this brain damaged old fool's approach to the rest of the campaign. you can bet on it.

What failure? I don't see no failure! We have the lowest infection rate, globally. These third-rate, third-world countries, like Iran, live dirty and smelly, so the virus goes virtually unchecked.

What exactly does Biden think that Trump should have done differently??? This virus was unheard of two months ago. There were no ways to test for the virus thus no test kits. They had to be developed then manufactured. When Pres Trump stopped travel from China to stop the flow of the virus to the USA he was roundly criticized by Democrats and the media. Now he continues to take actions that are in the interests of the USA to stop the spread of the virus and is still criticized as being xenophobic. Democratic and media criticism is not helping to calm any fears. Nothing that Biden suggested in his plan is any different than what has already been done.

Let's talk about H1N1, the swine flu, that killed 12,000 Americans while you and Obama were playing White House, Joe. Why did Obama take 6 MONTHS before he said a peep about it? And compared to the frenzy induced by the compliant media NOW, where were all of you back then? You're a HYPOCRITE, Joe Biden.

I address my fellow conservatives. For the past few weeks, I tried to talk down panic among my friends. I said the talk of a "pandemic" is coming from a bunch of liberals at CDC (big fans of gun control) and socialist third-world bureaucrats at WHO. As someone has opined on this board already, doesn't the US have the lowest infection rate? Isn't all of the media chatter just a master plan of Charlie Schumer, who's been praying for a recession to hurt Donald Trump's re-election? I'm afraid I was wrong. This thing is dangerously infectious. Italy ain't no third world country. The calamity there is threatened here, VERY QUICKLY, We will have to submit -- if we are to avoid calamity -- to real solutions, not the phony nonsense about time-wasting "testing" of millions of CURRENTLY non-infected Americans. Like most of you, I hate the NBA bureaucrats who boycott North Carolina over transgender rights, but the NBA got it right this time. We need a short-term war-time regime of social isolation. New York's subways should be shut (the city previously survived two strikes of the subways -- we'll survive.). Crowded schools, where kids will pick up the disease, and then, non-symptomatic themselves, spread it to granny, should be shut --we can always resume school and extend the school year into the summer. This is really an emergency. Flatten the curve. It will cause economic hardship, but America will come back. My message, again, to fellow conservatives -- COVD-19 is not a liberal myth, invented to beat Trump. It's real. We.have to face up to it and bite the bullet.

Italy has over 10,000 cases in a population of 60 million and the US has about 1200 cases in a population fo 325 million. Italy has infections in one of every 6000 people, the US has infections in one of every 2.8 million people. THAT great effect is caused by President Trump getting ahead of this thing, and stopping travel from China early. And he was criticized unmercifully for doing it. We may have been a bit slow in cutting off Europe, it seems like most of our case are coming here from Italy.

In an unbelievable partisan speech Joe Biden showed up before a gaggle of media and blamed a xenophobic President Trump for the corona virus thus essentially siding with the Chinese Intelligence services that are also trying to blame Trump and the USA. While urging that huge amounts of federal money be given to local officials around the country, especially in the inner cities run by leftist and liberal Democrats, Biden ignored the fact that the current novel corona virus was created in a Chinese cultural wild animal market where all sorts of creatures are kept and killed in front of customers, a place where many authoritative medical experts believe that the virus was transferred from animals to humans, that the Communist Chinese Government suppressed all communication relating to the virus spread in China until the virus started appearing in foreign countries, and that government now is attempting through false and misleading information to blame the USA, and President Trump, for the spreading virus as Biden was doing in his speech. Biden claimed that he was putting out a scientific based plan to stop the virus, but as you listened to him it was in substance a reiteration of what the Trump Administration and their medical experts are already doing, or plan to do. Biden read from a TelePrompTer and took no questions before a gaggle of media and then simply walked away. It is obvious that Biden is approaching an old age dementia like situation with declining cognitive abilities, and is about the last old corrupt liberal Democrat lawyer-politician who any sane person would want to be in charge of the US Government.

Among the USFK community, he said only nine out of 145 tested positive for coronavirus. That includes one service member and two family members, and the rest were South Korean employees or contractors. All nine lived off-base, he said.

As America faces possible shortages of antibiotics, face masks, iPhones and various other items now produced in China, it’s time to consider how we got here.
