What do we expect in a US president? Here’s a shortlist of characteristics: a complex problem-solver, a good communicator, a good negotiator and deal-maker, someone who easily connects with people, consistency, in control, confident leadership, visionary, etc. Let’s look at Joe Biden’s antics on the campaign trail over just the past few weeks and see what characteristics he evinces (never mind his past plagiarism, girl-sniffing, and family corruption/nepotism for the purpose of this analysis).

Everybody knows it, the Dems are shushing up anyone who says it out loud.
If Joe manages to actually be the candidate in November, he will get beaten badly by Trump. I think it is still questionable that Joe will be their sacrificial lamb.

The scary part is there are a lot of people that will still vote for him!

Folks, Joe knows he is not qualified to be president and many of the voters know he isn't, too. But that point is moot. It will be the "PARTY" that will be occupying the White House (if he were to get elected, and he won't). Joe will be the front man, reading from a teleprompter, saying whatever the democrat party wants him to say, whenever the party wants him to say it; a party that is slowly destroying our history, our children's education, national morality, freedom and liberty. For that reason, it is a legitimate candidate. Keep that in mind.

Biden meets all qualifications desired by the democrats. He is easily confused, doesn't understand a lot that goes on around him, and would be easily led by a shadow administration. The DNC would be just as happy with a ham sandwich as the (democrat) President

He is the perfect guy to run against Trump. Forget stocking up on hand sanitizer and toilet paper. I stocking up on popcorn and sweet tea. The first Biden Trump debate will break all records. It will be better than any comedy show you could imagine and trump will destroy Plugs completely.

I would suggest that the popcorn be kept in storage. This is going to be a very tight race. Biden will be shielded by his party and the media, and will start off the debates with Trump pumped up, well-rehearsed and sounding sharp (for 45 minutes or so, anyway). PDT will be weakened by the damage to the economy caused by this virus hysteria and media-generated accusations that he doesn't "care".
There are more casual and stupid voters out there than we wish to imagine.
Just be ready - it's gonna be a tight race. In a rational world that wouldn't be the case, but...

Yesterday I saw a woman in Mississippi say that Plugs is a “gentleman”....and that’s why she’s voting for him.
We are surrounded by idiots!

I think we all should welcome Joe. No more crazy talk about his mental stability. Once it's official and he is the democrat challenger to Trump, then jump in with both feet and take him down. Let everyone know that he is one brick short of a full load.

I suspect that there may be some other thoughts behind supporting Biden.
No, Bernie would probably NOT win against Trump but merely letting him win the nomination brands the dems the Socialist party. That would trigger an earthquake within the party that would shatter it. There are elements in the dem party that hate Socialism as much as Republicans do. Although they are loud and energetic, the Socialists are only about a third of the dem party. It wouldn't be surprising if 50% of the dem party would pull away from a Socialist focused party.
Yet, the dems could NOT cheat the Bernie Bros again. That too would fracture the party, perhaps permanently. If Bernie were to be defeated, it will have to be by the dem voters. They needed a wakeup call and they got it from the dem establishment that stopped pussyfooting around and labeled Bernie as a threat. The voters rallied against Bernie and there is not a lot he can say about it. The remaining candidates dropped out and endorsed Biden. The Bros will be angry but no one "cheated". Bernie was beaten by the primary process. Bernie and his Bros thought they had the support of the dem majority. They were very wrong.
So now, Biden. The party players have to know that Biden is a disaster. Yet with Biden fairly selected, the dem party is NOT Socialist and the rules were followed. It's sad that Biden is going to be embarrassed. The party is cruelly using him like Mueller was used. Maybe BO was being considerate when he told Biden "You don't have to do this Joe". BO may have known what was coming. It will be almost impossible for Biden to win. It may be a landslide for Trump. But the party can then start to rebuild, pulling away from Socialism. It may take a while but it is possible.
There is also a danger for President Trump. No one likes to see an incompetent person treated harshly. Trump needs to fight to win but be cautious not to become overly cruel to poor Uncle Joe. The dems have lead the lamb to the slaughter. Trump needs to complete the job humanely and mercifully.
