During an August 2019 CNN interview, Democrat presidential hopeful Joe Biden confirmed he is coming for your gun if it is an “assault weapon.”
Real Clear Politics posted a video of CNN’s Anderson Cooper asking, “So, to gun owners out there who say, well, a Biden administration means they’re going to come for guns?”
Biden responded, “Bingo. You’re right, if you have an ‘assault weapon.’ The fact of the matter is they should be illegal, period.”
He added:
Look, the Second Amendment doesn’t say you can’t restrict the kinds of weapons people can own. You can’t buy a bazooka. You can’t have a flame thrower.

Actually, you can buy a flame thrower. IIRC, Elon Musk recently was marketing his flame thrower.
As to the F-15, even if somebody gave me one, I could only fly it around until the tanks were dry and then I'd be unable to afford to refuel it. And geez, a single Sidewinder is like $500K, and an AMRAAM is probably twice that or more. Individual smart bombs.....probably $100K.
Even if I had a bunch given, I couldn't afford to practice.
And in reality, a whole bunch of us with ordinary semi-auto rifles, AF-15s or whatever, can make it pretty miserable for a tyrannical government.
Let's hope that the threat of many tens of millions of armed citizens is enough to prevent a tyranny, so that we never have to actually do it.

In 1776 all rifles were assault rifles. And BTW, they are not banned, but controlled. The bad news is they are terribly expensive.

Actually, #3, the "assault weapon" of 1776 was the musket. The musket was a rapid loading smooth-bored military weapon, carried a bayonet, and buttstock reinforced with steel to make it into a bludgeoning weapon. The musket intentionally sacrificed accuracy for rapid loading - about three to four shots per minute.
The rifle was an accurate hunting weapon, with a rifled bore, exceptionally slow to reload (perhaps 1 shot per minute, sometimes worse), no bayonet capability, and the buttstock would break if used as a club.
As soon as possible, we armed all our troops with muskets, while private militias often were stuck with their hunting rifles, which were very accurate, but they were too slow to reload in battle and rifle armed militias were incapable of fending off a bayonet charge. The British, armed with muskets, often fired a couple of volleys and then did a massed bayonet charge if they saw militia troops. Militia would run, had no choice. Our musket armed regular troops could use their own bayonets, and trade shot for shot with the British regulars.

More deliberate misinformation by the 'tards, who is surprised?
Military arms are the key reason the government is prohibited from infringing on our rights. We must retain the capability of over-awing the government whenever it grows beyond its limits, as is the end goal of all bureaucracies.
ANY weapon is protected by that constitutional restriction from constitutional interference. And that includes state governments since the 14th amendment passed. Don't believe me? Read some actual history, not 'tard revisionist history. And the founders writings, too. They explain quite a bit about the intent and meaning of the constitution, if you're a PubLik SkoohL graduate.

Yeah, it would be highly interesting to see Biden show up at the front door of just one owner of an "assault weapon."

Well Joe, you had 8 years to go after guns, and didn't do it, and you'll never get the chance to take them anyway.

When Lewis and Clark made their journey west they relied on a large bore pneumatic rifle to take game along the way - I'm waiting on a perfectly CA legal .45 Cal suppressed air rifle - effective to 200 yards I'm told...

I "would" be buying .223 and .556 as those will be regulated and removed from store shelves. Hey...is the Mosin an Assault Weapon? The HUGE pointy thing on one I'm familiar with sure seems like it! So you are going to take away a .22 calibre rifle that is semi-auto but leave rifles out there that can blow a hole through armor? Wow!!! Cold Dead Hands! I'm closer to the underside of the grass and am right with the Lord Jesus, so I fear nothing that this world can throw at me. I will defend mine and those around me that need it at all costs! Every Blade of Grass!!!

Yeah, #4, I get it. I was speaking philosophically, not technically.

Remember "A Christmas Story?" For Christmas, I always wanted a Thompson. Stick mag, not drum.
I still do.
