The ages of the Democratic race's two remaining contenders are becoming a central issue in the increasingly bitter primary fight, focusing more attention on their prospective running mates. If elected, Joe Biden, 77, or Bernie Sanders, 78, would be the oldest president to hold office in history. Since announcing his candidacy last April, Biden's rambling oratory style and penchant for, intentionally or not, mixing up details in the stories he tells on the trail, have become a hallmark of his third White House bid. Sanders, meanwhile, had a heart attack last October but has refused to provide more health records.

These guys are getting free passes to the White House by the Democrat Party. Trump and any other (unlikely) candidate must undergo daily rectal exams by these same Dems and their free media whores.

I don't care how stupid these two are, neither would be fool enough to ask Hillary. They wouldn't survive the first summer in office.

Well, guys, you could pick Hillary. But remember Arkancide. Since you are both elderly, Hillary could have you killed, make it look like an accident or a result of a "heart attack" or "stroke," thus maintaining plausible deniability. But make no mistake, she will cryptically send the message to certain others to not mess with her.

The democrats are in trouble no matter which of their grim choices is made. Even Hillary is getting up there in years and is carrying her own bag of issues. #3 probably called the right shot and Michelle covers those assets except for the midget part.

Biden's problem isn't so much as dropping dead at any moment, but the steady descent into lack of lucidity. Anyone who has taken the car keys away from an aging parent knows it is a difficult and emotional transition.

Maybe one can be the other's running mate. Between them, they will finish an entire term.

It will be a Biden/Hillary ticket, and Biden would step down, or be thrown down within a year.

This is what should concern voters. For it is the VP who is the real candidate this year for the DNC. Gonna be interesting to see who they pick for Bernie and Biden. That is the shell game this year IMO. The DNC knows Biden won't last out even a first term, so the VP is their real candidate

Two beasts come to my mind immediately as Biden's vice-presidential nominee: Clinton and Abrams. Isn't that scary?!!! I doubt that Biden is healthy enough to get through one term. "Dr." Jill would effectively be in charge for however long he would last. There's another scary thought.

It does not matter as first they have to defeat the Trump-Pence ticket and that is not going to be easy for Biden or whoever the So-called “Super Delegates” pick at the Democrat Convention. chances are Sanders will be a dead duck after the Michigan Primary. If you think Biden is senile now, wait until after he campaigns against President Trump between now and November.

Chances of either Biden or Sanders having the mental or physical acumen to finish four years in the high pressure White House as a successful President are slim. Especially in Biden’s case where it is a given that a surrogate President will be running the show almost immediately. The big shot Democrats have to know that, and will either force either Biden or Sanders to accept the Vice-Presidential choice of the “Super Delegates” at the Democrat National Convention, or they will nominate some other Democrat candidate for President.. So chances are that “Super Delegate” selection will be a minority politician who has not recently been on the national scene because that person would have no chance to win a Presidential election in his or her own rite.
