Former Attorney General Jeff Sessions faces an uphill battle to win back the U.S. Senate seat from Alabama that he held for 20 years. Sessions now will be in a March 31 primary runoff with former Auburn University football coach Tommy Tuberville, but Tuberville appears to have edged Sessions for first place in Tuesday’s first primary and enjoys considerable momentum.
Indeed, Sessions now probably needs three things to happen for him to regain his seat. First, President Trump must continue to refrain from commenting on the race, rather than openly endorsing Tuberville. Second, the primary’s third-place finisher, U.S. Rep. Bradley Byrne, must endorse Sessions.

The DemoNazis clearly have some dirt on Sessions that made him sit on his hands as AG while the deep state attempted a coup against Trump. What's to prevent the Dems from coercing him again whenever they need a critical vote?

If the GOP wants to survive they need to stop sending cowards to Washington.

fool us once ...Why is he even wanting back ? The man is solely responsible for three + years of hell to this country and the oath he swore to protect & defend her . There has to be a price paid and if he ( ostensibly on “our” side ) is the only one to pay ? whatever . loathsome , foolish old liar .

No brainer. I will have to send funds to Tommy Tuberville. Sessions was a disgrace that allowed Communists to impeach the best American President without moving a finger and feeling holy above the fray. We cannot afford such a snake In the grass back. So I will give Turberville the mother´s milk of politics. For Trump: everything ! Never forget, never forgive.

I truly think that Jeff Sessions was in on this all along. He was the one that recommended Rod Rosenstein as Deputy AG. Rod was in it up to his neck and worked with Mueller to get Trump. President Trump needs to go out and endorse Tommy.

It isn't POTUS who is holding Sessions back. It is Sessions' dereliction of duty as AG where he recused himself ***from his main responsibility*** of arresting the deep state's attempt at a soft coup of the President of the United States.
RIGHT IN FRONT OF HIM.
I MAY, after humbly recalling to mind my own sinful failures in life, forgive the man. I would never vote for him.
He crazy??

Too bad we don't know what his puppet masters have on him and how they got it.
Would likely be a similar case for many of the other RINOs and explain their behavior.

As weak as Sessions was on the Obama/Clinton crime syndicates, his replacement appears to share the same trait. AG Barr has been in office for a year, and all that we appear to have is an updated version of Huber in Durham. Barr tossed out “late spring, early summer” as his apparent target for some undefined action. Sessions did the same with Huber, who Devin Nunes explained never called a witness to testify in 18 months. And that Joe DiGenova and Vallerie Toesing had to repeatedly send key whistleblower information on Hillary’s Russian bribe taking before Huber finally acknowledged receipt. And who apparently ignored it when received.
For readers, how many of you would vote for AG Barr to be Senator?

When Sessions was AG, he turned the department over to a Democrat, and never cast one vote for Trump, when he had all the power to do so. Sessions should be rejected for incompetence and betrayal. Sessions could have released the documents. Instead, Sessions decided to bed with his Deep State friends, more betrayal. Trump should have fired him sooner.

Simply put, Sessions chose the Deep State over the American People. His inaction as AG puts him in the same category as Lindsay Graham. Talk big, Do nothing.

Sessions recused himself without telling Trump first. That was inexcusable. And if he really thought he had a conflict, he should have resigned. I actually like Sessions but I don’t trust him.

No longer a Sessions fan. He ended that when he was a worthless AG.

#10 asks, "how many of you would vote for AG Barr to be Senator?"
I would, but ask me in November. Bill Barr is no Jeff Sessions, and Durham is no Huber. This is complicated, and Durham is methodical and intense. Any swift indictment of individuals like Brennan, Clapper, Comey, Yates, & company would be suspect. I'm cautiously optimistic.
