Meghan Markle is said to have been snubbed by Disney for being a "controversial figure," following reports her agent was finding her a Hollywood role with the film company.
The Duchess of Sussex, 38, is believed to be trying to get herself back into acting as she and husband Prince Harry start their new life, after they stepped down from royal duties.
Responding to speculation, an unnamed film executive has revealed there are "limited plans" for Meghan to secure a big role - after she allegedly told her agent to find her a superhero role with Marvel.

There is never a photograph of her that has not been perfectly posed, even when she has supposedly been ambushed. She craves the presence of cameras more than Norma Desmond. She was never an A-lister but thinks her connection to royalty should make everyone want to bow down to her and beg her to act in their productions. She stupidly turned her back on the royal family so she is much less interesting now.

At what point will it become too awkward to be associated with her? Once your “brand” is damaged it gets really hard to fix.

I'm surprised she's already done one voice-over for Disney. Disney says she knows she can't carry a movie as the star.

I am honestly surprised. After all, look at the (obnoxious, ignorant, race baiting, trouble maker) Colin Kaepernick. He is "controversial" to say the least. And what's happened to him? He has a huge contract with Nike, and Nike stopped producing the Betsy Ross flag shoe because Kaepernick decided that our Nation's first flag is racist. Also the NFL set up a personalized tryout just for him (which he totally blew, by being his usual bad sport and obnoxious self) and didn't some sports writer proclaim that Kaepernick was the most important athlete of the decade? I would have thought Disney would jump at the chance to benefit from (supposed) SJW Markle's worldwide fame (for being disloyal, disrespectful, unappreciative and anti-Trump).

Just like young teens graduating high school, they think they can simply walk into a corporate headquarters and ask to speak with someone about becoming the CEO because they have "great ideas."

A super-hero role at 38? Not what I call a deep thinker. For all her supposed educational accomplishments, she comes across as quite shallow.

Yes, she is pretty. But Hollywood is full of spectacularly beautiful, young women. Markle is pushing 40. Looks like some doors are already closing. What a spiteful thing for her to leave her baby in Canada when they visit England.

Controversial? Radioactive is more like it. Anything she's in is DOA in the UK.
He’s saying she is available and open to the best offers." You'd better stay by that phone, Megs...those offers'll be pouring in any second now! /s

When she was younger, and clearly got acting jobs based on her looks far more than her mediocre acting ability (not terrible, but definitely not "big star" level), I saw her in a Hallmark Channel movie. That was about the level of actress she was.
Now she is older, not nearly as cute, and I seriously doubt her acting ability has improved, so a major starring role in a Marvel superhero movie is not likely in the works.
She should probably go begging to the Hallmark Channel again. They do tend to use slightly older actresses, and they chug out about 10 of those campy romantic comedies a week, so they might give her another shot.

In other words, she is the Colin Kapernick of acting. She can't act has no talent and is not even that good looking. Maybe she can get a gig in the adult film industry. Maybe a warm-up girl for starters.

I personally find this woman not attractive at all! When standing next to Kate, she really looks bad! She has the worst legs I have ever seen! WAY too skinny for me compared to the rest of the body! A super hero? How about an evil wench! That fits!

It's all about reputation and appearance. You don't speak poorly about the Queen and walk away looking like snow white. It does not work like that in the real world, Meghan.
What she and Harry did to the Queen was cruel. Meghan continues to talk to her friends and paper about how the Royal family was mean to her. If I was Meghan, I would try my hand and something else other than acting. By the way, Disney is somewhat like Hallmark. As they see it, Meghan is damaged goods.

Soon people will get tired of her.
Why would anyone give a c actress a super hero role?

I just noticed that the symbol of the proposed "Sussex Royal" brand was a capital script "M" with a crown. Must stand for "Archie."

Her father worked in the film industry and got her a few gigs. She is 38 and never made it big even with her good looks. No one had ever heard of her until she met Harry which tells me she is not a very good actress. She is a manipulator and will do anything to become a real movie star even marry a Prince. Those A Listers that she considers her friends would not even know her name without him. She is not planning on taking care of Archie; she wants a full time nanny. Harry is finding out the hard way what he married and it "ain't" pretty.

If Harry ever has a moment of clarity, he would grab that little boy of his, flee back to Buckingham Palace and beg for mercy. And then have the Royal Pain (love that!) banned from reentering the country. So sad that the Queen, who I admire enormously, has to put up with this idiotic nonsense.

I wonder if Harry is getting a clue that he's been used to revive the acting career of a fading B-list actress. He'll probably suck it up for a while longer because he won't be able to admit to himself (and the world) that he was taken, but eventually things will fall apart.

I might watch her in an adult movie, providing I could download it for free. Otherwise I'm not too interested. Yes she's pretty, but that's not enough. There are lots of actresses out there who are not as pretty as her but still get regular work. It must be something else. Maybe lack of personality or lack of talent.

How ironic that Harry (she calls him “H”) was caught schmoozing Bob Iger, at that time CEO of Disney, at the premiere of The Lion King. Touting the availability of his wife for Disney films. Iger has since resigned. He apparently left no positive message re Mrs. H for his successor.

I think she planned all this when she decided to date him. She probably thought once they left their Royal duties and moved away that Hollywood would be banging down their door with toms of offers and scripts. I think they know Me-again would be box office poison.

Seems to me Prince Dimbulb has the same problem he had before he met Markle: he doesn't have a job. Too bad he could not have stayed in the army, for which he seemed well suited.
