A new bill introduced in the California Assembly would require retailers to create “gender-neutral” floor-spaces for children’s merchandise, with the goal of banning sex-specific labeling labeling such as “girls aisles” and “boys aisles.”The bill proposed by Democratic Assemblyman Evan Low, requires all retail department stores with 500 employees or more to comply with the newfound gender standards of the Left.According to the bill, AB-2826, if a retailer fails to correct a violation within 30 days, they become liable for a civil penalty of $1,000.“A retail department store shall maintain one, undivided area of its sales floor where, if it sells childcare articles,
The left has gone from weird and out of touch to downright dangerous. A danger to a functioning society. It's as if an evil entity has taken over a large portion of the population and turned all rational and logical thinking into a crime.

Hopefully the bill allows some latitude on what can be on the sign that hangs above the aisle. I'd suggest "MENTAL ILLNESS SUPPLIES."

This is stupid. It already exists. When my girls were growing up they headed straight for the pink aisle, which was that color because of all the Barbie stuff. The rest of the aisles were for everyone.

My nieces are girls who like pretty things. They aren't trans in any way shape or form. But instead of Disney princesses, they love superheros. They want t-shirts with Iron Man and Thor and Captain America instead of Ariel, Anna, and Cinderella on them. So their mother and father (who have common sense) go to the little boys section and buy them t-shirts there. No problem. We live in Kentucky not California and we have common sense.

I usually see aisles of toys that typically appeal to boys and aisles of toys that appeal to girls, but there are no signs saying "Boy toys" and "Girl toys" on the aisles. Does this law now require that the aisles be labeled as such, adding a new, mixed content aisle labled "? toys"?

This is just one more way to communism. Strip everybody of thought, everybody is the same, and they are starting at a very young age. It's total bs and these idiots must be stopped.

Doesn't count, #4. "Everyone" is not designated as 'special' enough. Seriously...REQUIRED???? How does gov't mandate such private business matters? Did they mandate aisles for boys? For girls? Then how can they mandate that they be done away with for something the stores may not want? It's their marketing strategies - not gov't mandates that should prevail. What if customers don't like the idea and instead do all their shopping on line? Democratic Assemblyman Evan Low and his fellow tyrants just shrug their shoulders and say it's an unintended consequence stores will just have to live (and die) with?

This will end when every store has 24 aisles for underwear. Anybody who starts a manequin business in California will be busy creating transgender dummies for decades. One of the first products should be a tight pair of tighty whities for Mooch to hide his penis.

A peek into the origins of the retail apocalypse so often seen in Socialist economies, where economic realities are denied and "overridden" by government policy. (spoiler: realities always trump policy - oops, did I say trump? sorry if I triggered any lefty CA pols)

How about an aisle intelligence-neutral idiot’s. There would be just empty shelves to illustrate what’s between their ears.

I never saw a "girl's aisle" or a "boy's aisle" at any store. Yes, some aisles had a pink glow as most of the items offered had shades of pink in the packaging, and other aisles were mostly space ships, airplanes, toy guns and such in many colors.
California continues to be unhinged.

The state of california is officially saying that people are too stupid to choose their own clothing. " gender standards" ? liberal nonsense. Its clothing, which can be worn by anyone at any time........if you choose to do so.

Because Kalifornia has absolutely nothing else to be concerned about. They may have feces and needles in the streets but they have gender neutral store aisles. I’m so relieved.

The operative word is in the first sentence. “Introduced”.

What if they started a war on every tradition, every value, everything normal?
Oh wait, they already have.
Is it politically incorrect to say we must slay the influence-peddlers in our schools, in our media, in our culture?
