Bernie Sanders Gives the Worst
Possible Answer When Asked About
How Much His Agenda Will Cost

Over the weekend, when Democratic (Socialist) frontrunner Bernie Sanders was asked how much all of his ambitious plans would cost if they were implemented, he gave the worst possible answer. Simply put, he didn't know: Anderson Cooper: Do you know how all-- how much though? I mean, do you have a price tag for-- for all of this? Bernie Sanders We do. I mean, you know, and-- and-- the price tag is-- it will be substantially less than letting the current system go. I think it's about $30 trillion. Anderson Cooper: That's just for Medicare for All, you're talking about?

And then let's ask Tom Steyer how he wants to pay for "400 years of slavery" in reparations.

"But Sanders does know that just having the rich "pay their fair share" won't come close. He's recently conceded that the middle class will pay more in taxes to help pay for his plans." The rich already pay more than a fair share and, bingo, Bernie Sanders conceded that the middle class will pay more in taxes and why he has more than one supporter is beyond me. He doesn't hesitate to let us know what he thinks of the "deplorables" who are the hard-working, tax-paying citizens.

Bernie will have you pay, say, $10,000 to the government and then give you back $1,000 in free stuff. Then he will expect you to thank him. What a deal. Meanwhile, the economy will collapse as it does in all Socialist countries. Soon you won't have to worry about paying Bernie $10,000 because you won't have a job. Then the free stuff will dry up. How stupid are the people that support Socialists?

Most of what Bernie is promising would never happen and he knows it. He could confiscate every penny from every single American and still couldn’t pay for it. He would have to start printing money and totally collapse our currency and with it the global economy. Oh, so that’s the plan....

Bernie doesn't have a clue. having spent his life enamored with socialism now when asked how he plans to implement his ideas, he stammers and stutters and says he has options. He has nothing! just like AOC, Warren and all the other ignoramuses. In the business world when you try to sell your idea to a potential investor, they ask to see a business plan with five year performa. They want facts and figures, not some hyped up pie in the sky delusion. Bernie is nothing more than a 78 year old college student who thinks CHE and Castro are cool. He never evolved pass that stage. The only thing I give him any credit for is his tenaciousness.

Confiscating ALL the wealth of the top 10 Americans will not come close to paying for one year of Bernie's socialist giveaways. Let that soak in for a bit. The top ten richest men in the world have something like $100 billion NET WORTH. The next seven have graduated down less. Assume that it is something like $125B, $120B, $110B, $100B, $95B, $90B, $80B, $75B, $70B, $70B and I read that Bloomberg at #11 has $62B. So, CONFICATE all of that money and factories, and homes and sell them off. The total? $935 billion. That is $0.935 trillion, less than ONE trillion if you take it ALL. Bernie ADMITS that his Medicare for All will cost $30 trillion. So, all the total LIFETIME accumulated wealth of the top ten billionaires in the whole world, confiscated, won't provide even 1/30th of what Bernie proposes to spend in a year on just health care. As usual, these things are absolutely, totally unaffordable in any possible way. There is not enough wealth in the whole world, let alone some fraction of that as taxes, to fund his insane schemes.

A number of pundits have recently argued that younger voters, especially those under 30, are less inclined to be bothered when they hear the word “socialism,” since they have no firsthand memory of the Cold War. To some extent, this must be true. Those who weren’t alive during socialism’s cruelest catastrophes — or even its many banal failures — will be less put off by the idea. Then again, if a presidential candidate were praising the excellent public transportation system of the Third Reich or going on about the some alleged benefit to American slavery, they would rightly be chased from the public square forever

Woke Rule No. 1 is that anything with “Principles” in its name is a grift. Now, something called “Principles First” – ugh – is trying to shoehorn into CPAC’s spotlight with its “National Summit on Principled Conservatism” to be held in D.C. on February 29th, and for the low, low, almost certainly lib tech tycoon-subsidized price of $10, you can attend this sexless Never Trump Freaknik.

Stop rubbing your hands with glee over the opening turmoil in Democrats’ primary struggles centered on the current front-runner status of ancient Bernie Sanders. Yes, he’s older than anyone ever to occupy the White House, entering or exiting. Sure, he’s a loon. He’s done some crazy stuff in writing and speaking. You bet party elders are worried sick about nominating a socialist in a center-right nation. But it’s still quite early in their selection process. We’ll know a little more come Saturday night with the results of South Carolina’s primary, assuming that beautiful state doesn’t pull an Iowa or Florida with a flood of irregularities and hanging chads.

As clusters of novel coronavirus continue to pop up around the globe, the United States is grappling with how to prepare for an outbreak on American soil. Here's the latest on the developing situation. CDC officials confirmed Wednesday night that a patient in California contracted the coronavirus. The patient reportedly didn't have any travel history or exposure to another infected patient, which is the first known instance of such a case in the U.S., according to the CDC. "It’s also possible, however, that the patient may have been exposed to a returned traveler who was infected," an agency official said in a statement.

During the dog days of August way back in 2003, when even politics took a few days off, an upstart candidate began to make waves in the race for the Democratic presidential nomination. He was little known outside of Vermont, where he began his political career by spearheading a grassroots campaign to stop a condominium development on Lake Champlain, site of Sen. Bernie Sanders’ third home (he won, a bike path went in instead). The upstart went on to become the state’s five-time governor, the longest-serving in its history. Bernie Sanders is, to put it gently, either terminally obtuse, mentally unbalanced, or dangerously dishonest. That Sanders could’ve visited the Soviet Union during the Cold War and, with all of the evidence before him, come back extolling the country’s systems, programs, and infrastructure, reveals either stupidity on a galactic scale, certifiable delusion, or a willingness to perpetuate the greatest lie in modern history. Sanders could’ve saved the time and expense of the trip had he instead talked to someone like Nikolai Kirsanow who, years before Sanders’s captivating trip to the Soviet Union, escaped from the NKVD. WASHINGTON – A deeply divided Supreme Court ruled Tuesday that the family of a Mexican teen shot and killed by a U.S. Border Patrol agent cannot seek damages because of the border that was between them. The justices ruled 5-4 that 15-year-old Sergio Adrian Hernández Guereca lacked constitutional protection against the use of excessive force because he was in Mexico. Had he been in Texas with Border Patrol agent Jesus Mesa, his family would have had a claim. Associate Justice Samuel Alito wrote the opinion and was joined by the court's four other conservatives. The four liberal justices dissented.

Since the days of George Washington, presidents have wished they could make government employees do what they are told. Actually, that frustration is much older than America. Peter the Great once said, “People think I rule Russia, but a thousand bureaucrats rule Russia.” That’s one reason presidential candidates’ promises are often more difficult to deliver than they expected. It is a common comparison that “moving the bureaucracy is like trying to turn an aircraft carrier.” Actually, turning an aircraft carrier is far easier than turning a bureaucracy. (Snip)When Donald Trump ran for president in 2016, among other commitments, he vowed to repeal the unpopular Obama-era “Waters of the U.S.” (WOTUS) rule.

If you listen to the mainstream media, you probably think that the Bad Orange Man is boosting pollution and destroying the climate because we withdrew from the Paris climate agreement. (It’s not a “treaty” as defined in the United States because Congress never approved it.) The reality, however, is very different. The U.S. Energy Information Administration has quietly released yet another report saying that America once again reduced greenhouse gas emissions in 2019 and they project that such emissions will be going down even further this year. So why isn’t CNN blanketing the airwaves with this good news so everyone can celebrate the progress? (Washington Examiner)

‘Equal Justice Under Law.” What a joke! Those four stirring words, chiseled into the marble atop the U.S. Supreme Court’s portico, were transformed into a punchline Thursday. That statement in stone is now the legal equivalent of a cream pie tossed in Shemp’s face, in a vintage Three Stooges comedy short. U.S. district judge Amy Berman Jackson sentenced President Donald J. Trump’s friend and informal adviser Roger Stone to three years and four months in prison for witness tampering, obstruction of justice, and lying to Congress. Stone’s penalty emerged just six days after the Justice Department dropped its inquiry into Trump foe, former acting FBI director Andrew McCabe.
