‘I Don’t Hear Enough Voices’ Resisting Trump

Representative Maxine Waters (D-CA) said Tuesday on MSNBC that not enough Americans are resisting and speaking out against President Donald Trump. Waters said, “The American people should be focused on Barr. We should be joining with all of those federal prosecuting attorneys that have decided he should step down, that he should resign. We should be supporting them and backing them up. I’m anxious to see what the federal judges who have decided they can’t wait until the yearly association meeting, that they should pay attention to what is going on now and review what has happened. I’m anxious to see what they’re going to come out with.”

First, you moron, we live in a representative REPUBLIC, not a democracy. That you don't know this is a reflection on you personally. Second, US citizens are currently enjoying their increased wages and lowered taxes too much to join your pitiful "orangemanbad" party!! Now, go buy a new wig and shut up!!

Maxine doesn’t realize that outside her own district which is made up of incredibly dumb people the rest of us see her as a very low IQ old woman who buzzes around liberal talk shows like a mosquito. The Democrats are stuck with her but MSNBC tries to take her seriously. They don’t have many choices.

The cabal of federal judges she is anxious to hear from, AKA Deep State Coup Conspirators #3, have no power at al. Any attempt would be an attack on our Representative Democracy. They really hate it when the voters decide, and will never stop trying to find ways to make America elections, (that they lose), irrelevant.

When word first broke that Meghan Markle had convinced Prince Harry to divorce the royal family, it struck many as a bizarre and sad conclusion to what could have been a great chapter in the family’s long history. Now, though, with the latest report on Meghan’s extraordinarily self-centered world view, she’s becoming a comic figure who must be enjoyed. It started with Prince Harry, who had grown from being a bit of an ass to being an active-duty soldier to being an empathetic yet sunny member of the royal family,

President Trump held a press conference on Wednesday to discuss coronavirus. Although many in the assembled press wanted to play “gotcha,” Trump struck a great balance between relaxed and serious and refused to play the media’s game. It was the perfect mien to reassure a nation that, while nothing serious is happening now, our federal government will be there should the situation change. Trump explained that Vice President Mike Pence will henceforth be the point person on the coronavirus issue. When he was Governor in Indiana, Pence dealt with MERS in 2014, so he already has executive experience in managing an infectious disease.

SUMTER, S.C. — In October, Pete Buttigieg said he would do better with South Carolina’s black voters once they got to know him better. When he came back in December, he was still working on introducing himself to the black electorate. And in late January he admitted he was scared that at his rallies in South Carolina, where 60 percent of the Democratic electorate is black, most attendees were white. Those fears were borne out on Saturday, when Mr. Buttigieg was trounced in South Carolina’s primary and earned just two percent of the vote from African-Americans, according to early exit polling.

The persistence of mental health hardships among gay and bisexual men, which endure even as LGBTQ people gain greater acceptance and civil rights, can be explained at least in part by the corrosive effects of status consciousness, competitiveness and racism within the gay community itself. Those are the striking and potentially controversial findings of a study published in January in the Journal of Personality and Social Psychology that may broaden appreciation of the unique stressors faced by gay and bisexual men. Gay and lesbian people have a more than fourfold higher rate of suicide than the general population. Among transgender people, the gulf is even wider.
