Did coronavirus originate in Chinese
government laboratory? Scientists believe
killer disease may have begun in research
facility 300 yards from Wuhan wet fish market

Chinese scientists believe the deadly coronavirus may have started life in a research facility just 300 yards from the Wuhan fish market. A new bombshell paper from the Beijing-sponsored South China University of Technology says that the Wuhan Center for Disease Control (WHCDC) could have spawned the contagion in Hubei province. 'The possible origins of 2019-nCoV coronavirus,' penned by scholars Botao Xiao and Lei Xiao claims the WHCDC kept disease-ridden animals in laboratories, including 605 bats. It also mentions that bats—which are linked to coronavirus—once attacked a researcher and 'blood of bat was on his skin.'

Comments:

Will these researchers become ill or commit suicide, or is this a ploy for the USA to "share" our own germ warfare expertise to stop the pandemic?

Interesting report. Sounds like more sloppy "science" than a bioweapons lab. And they say that these bats are not eaten in that area, and only live 600 miles away. They research lab had imported a bunch of bats. The Chinese are always doing some incompetent thing or cutting some corner somewhere to make more money, or save money which winds up costing a bunch of lives. Nothing new. A 3rd world country with totalitarian communist leaders, very few people with Christian ethics, and a veneer of modernity spread thinly across parts of the country. The fundamentally medieval nature of things keeps breaking through.

OK, so bats are rare in Wuhan and the Chinese CDC was probably working on this virus... why? The Chinese like pork and lost over half of their herd due to a virus. I'm guessing they were studying it. Why not? Remember that the 'Spanish Flu' likely originated in China and China is famous for animal-to-human virus jumping. Look at this report and connect the dots. https://www.newscientist.com/article/2222501-a-quarter-of-all-pigs-have-died-this-year-due-to-african-swine-fever/

This is consistent with the findings by the Chinese medical authorities that the initial cases of COVID-19 were from people that had not been in or near the wet market in Wuhan. The outbreak started outside the market and then passed to people who visited the congested and unsanitary facility. Dr. Sechun Lin of the US Army Medical Research Center also reported that the sequencing of 2 essential parts of the virus genome showed no anti-virus shift from the original bat genome. In his experience this lack of genetic mutations from one species to another is extremely unlikely to happen naturally and is more typical of genetically modified laboratory strains of a virus.

Wait for it....... let's see who will make billions off of a new vaccine. If it is China, it may be how they recover some of their losses from the recent trade deals. I'm not saying that China's communist government would kill some of their own population to make a buck, but then again, I don't think it is beyond the realm of possibility.

#9, this story does nothing to support your "lab made" theory, which I think is pretty far fetched, although not impossible, but without the slightest evidence, so far. They were apparently studying bat diseases....and have crappy/ stupid/ lazy/ underfunded/ uncaring (all of the above?) methods for keeping the stuff they are studying safely inside their labs. My first boss pointed out many years ago (although he was talking about Christian ethics normalized Americans), "if mere incompetence will satisfactorily explain some unhappy event, it is probably the correct explanation, since incompetence is at least a thousand times more common that actual malice." I have thought it over and I think he is generally right. In the case of China....a whole people with little in the way of ethics, and extremely few Christians, one should probably include a healthy dose of "who the hell cares what happens to a bunch of people. It would be inconvenient or cost money to avoid killing them 'accidentally', so I'll risk it." sort of thinking. Like the Chinese who happily decided to increase their pet food profits slightly and briefly by killing thousands of American pets with a poisonous melamin additive to fool protein tests. Be sure that the businessmen who did it didn't care the slightest about dead pets. And I will bet that there are plenty of them who wouldn't care significantly more with people instead of pets. With them in charge of "disease security".....watch out.

China, supposedly under a controlled environment, was messing with Coronavirus, with the intent to weaponize it against their enemy. One idiot lab tech in Wuhan, decided to hand feed the cute little bat and instead got bit. By instinct, he/she sucked the blood out from the wound and left the lab for a hearty meal at the nearest unsanitary wet food market. And the rest is a pandemic history, ....according to the conspiracy enthusiasts. Great story, but possible since the Chinese government still would not allow the International CDC to investigate this Wuhan laboratory.

Eh? "once attacked a researcher and 'blood of bat was on his skin.' " Is the theory that the Chinese were developing a bat that would carry a deadly disease in itself and spread its own blood onto victims to infect them? Don't creatures in the real world attack to DRAW blood FROM their victims, though? Not the other way around.

Senators voted unanimously to change state law to remove the threat of jail time for consenting adult polygamists, a step that supporters argue will free people in communities that practice plural marriage to report abuses, like children being taken as wives, without fear of prosecution. A majority of people in Utah belong to The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, which had an early history of polygamy but has forbidden it for more than a century.
