Warren Issues Broadside Against

Democratic presidential candidate Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D., Mass.) issued a scathing denunciation of the mainstream media on Friday, accusing several outlets of ignoring her campaign in favor of lesser candidates and blaming that coverage in part for her campaign's failure to gain traction with primary voters. In an email to supporters on Friday, Warren's campaign said it could no longer "count on the media to cover our campaign fairly." It argued that other candidates, such as former vice president Joe Biden, received more coverage despite posting less impressive results in early primary states.

Warren is embracing her inner ... Trump ... and realizing the media isn't accurate or fair. Besides, the media seems to have a masochistic streak and might enjoy being attacked. They do so much to earn it. The problem for Warren is, she already comes off as a scold. Her voice and demeanor grates. Going on the attack amplifies the worst in her, not to mention that she also whining. Run out of brewskis in the frig Liz? Besides, Bernie does grumpy old man far better. We already have a President Trump who upends the media with style. I think we will keep him. Go back to your teepee Liz.

Maybe one of the reasons she is faltering is her voice. It's as if a child book narrator is applying to be an auctioneer and it just doesn't work. When she is "on fire" and trying to rally her crowd, it's pathetic and a big fizzle, not much shock and awe.

Seems to me that the liberal establishment has decided that Warren is not to be the nominee. Liberals follow the money, and the money has said that it will stay home if she gets the nomination. They have the same problem with Bernie, but he has a sizable following. Thus Bloomberg and the media elevating other candidates.

She falsely claimed to be from a poor underprivileged group(native Americans) and gained benefits that were meant for that group. She certainly has the appearance of stealing from the poor and many believe she effectively did. That the Democrats and MSM even consider her to be a viable presidential candidate reveals a lot about their disgusting low standards. Or course Sharpton presided over a riot that resulted in the murder of about half a dozen people and the Dems/MSM still considered him a viable Democrat presidential candidate and still give him a seat of honor at every convention.

Which lesser candidate is she referring to? Mini-Mike? Money has that effect. Can't think of any others that might have got more attention than her. Biden, Buttigieg, and Sanders were equals, and she got as much attention as they did. Really cannot see what she is complaining about. She was a dull dishonest candidate that did poorly on issues and did not separate herself from the rest of the field. Whose fault is that?

Not covering a candidate has been the MSM's technique for starving their campaigns of oxygen to kill them off. We've watched them systematically apply this strategy to weed out the most Conservative candidates during the primaries (one of the more egregious examples of this was Fred Thompson in 2008). In her struggle to get coverage (fighting against suffocation), she could well feel the urge to do something outrageous to get attention, the way impudent toddlers react to being ignored. I agree -- grab the popcorn. But also keep the body armor handy, just in case she tries to blow the place up on her way out the door.

Though we’re in the early stages of the 2020 campaign cycle, voters have already delivered a verdict on one thing: They are seeking a candidate that stands for something. On the Republican side, President Trump has gained full control of a party that once viewed him with suspicion — drawing only token opposition in the primaries. As president, he has mostly pursued the type of policies — a mix of traditional Republicanism with more populist stances on immigration and trade — that he campaigned on. And he has maintained the same smash mouth political style. Whether they like him or are repulsed by him,

With his Iowa and New Hampshire thumpings etched into the record books, it’s finally safe to say that Joe Biden's deepest problem as a candidate is that he can neither be taken literally nor seriously. Now the investor wanted its money back. It was December 2006, not long before Jim’s older brother and Hunter’s father, Joe Biden, then a Delaware senator, would announce his second campaign for president. Jim and Hunter Biden got a loan from a bank founded by one of Joe’s political backers — William Oldaker, an attorney for the senator’s presidential campaign and Hunter’s partner at a Washington law and lobbying firm.

Anyone could have told you in 2017 that convicted felon Michael Avenatti was bad news. But the media just cannot help themselves. Avenatti talked a big game about “resisting” President Trump, and he represented a woman who alleged criminal conduct by the president. That was enough to catapult him from relative obscurity to stardom, his face plastered everywhere by the news and entertainment industries. On Friday, Avenatti was found guilty of trying to extort Nike. This is obviously not great for the celebrity lawyer, who faces additional charges of tax, wire, and bank fraud in California and fraud and aggravated identity theft charges in New York.
