Swedish climate activist Greta Thunberg said on Friday (February 14) that school strikes, now in their 78th week, would go on until those in power did what was required to "save our future". Hundreds of people took part in a school strike march near the Swedish parliament in Stockholm on Friday, the place where Thunberg started her school strike in August 2018 to protest against the lack of action on the climate crisis. The two-kilometre march ended in Medborgarplatsen square where Thunberg addressed the protesters. The demonstration was part of a nation-wide school strike for the climate, organised by the

Sadly, she will commit suicide before she turns 300. She is clearly mentally ill. She is a useful idiot for the radical environmental fascists. However, when she is no longer a homely teenager, and just becomes an ugly, obnoxious adult, she will get thrown under the bus and nobody will pay any attention to her. That will drive her to massive depression, and she just won't be able to handle it. Her parents should be arrested for child abuse. But they are darlings of the radical environmental fascists too. But when they have to bury their daughter, the guilt is going to drive them even crazier than they already are.

Greta is an ideal spokesperson because she doesn't know enough to ever lose an argument. No scientists are out there, except Michael Mann who can't get away. Even he is not out in public offering to debate. What we get is movie actors and expired politicians and this vulnerable teenager. Don't know enough to lose. There is no way to "win" in an engagement with an ignorant and vulnerable teenager.

I wonder what the climatistas will say 25-50 years from now when the Earth hasn't warmed more than a tiny fraction of what they have predicted. They will never apologize of course or admit that they were wrong, just say that doom is still on the way if we won't give all power to a central authority composed of globalist elites.

A bill that would make Washington, D.C., the 51st U.S. state was approved by a Democratic-led House committee last week, setting the stage for a vote by the full chamber in the near future. If it passes, as expected, it will be the first time the campaign to bestow statehood on the nation’s capital has been endorsed by one of the chambers of Congress. Republicans in the Senate are expected to swiftly reject the bill, however, continuing a legacy of partisan sparring over the District of Columbia that has been going on for more than two centuries. WASHINGTON—House Democrats are grappling with whether to pursue further investigations of President Trump following his acquittal in the Senate, facing both an election in nine months and fresh White House actions that they say demand scrutiny. Democrats want to look into whether the president improperly influenced the Justice Department’s sentencing recommendation for a Trump confidant, casting Mr. Trump as emboldened by the end of the impeachment process. At the same time, party leaders are eager to focus on pocketbook issues for voters, such as health care, and Democrats are wary of launching another drawn-out fight with the White House that
