Mayor Pete: Red Diaper Baby

Original Article

Posted By: Pluperfect, 2/15/2020 4:07:34 AM

“So mayor Pete is a Red Diaper baby! This explains a lot … ” So writes Charlie, a longtime reader of mine and of The American Spectator. Please note that Charlie didn’t call Pete a red, but a red-diaper baby. There’s a difference. And either way, it’s a point that isn’t irrelevant and should be dealt with and laid out carefully. Charlie sent me that email back in October and urged me to write about the subject. Given Mayor Pete’s surge in the polls, and given my repeated run-ins with the said “red-diaper” background Charlie is referring to, I finally decided to put something together. I would not be surprised to learn that "Mayor Pete" actually does wear a big red diaper in the privacy of his own home.

Privacy #1? That word seems to have been surgically removed from the English language. Not by curious, prying people but by the people who simply won't shut up about their particular choice of knothole in the fence. 'Stay out of my bedroom' has given way to 'let me tell you every last detail of my sex life.' Strangely and incredibly, many people express interest in the activities of others. Even more strangely and incredibly, people clap like circus sea lions over it.

Joseph Buttigieg was one of the key leaders in spreading Gramscian ideas in the U. S. Few Americans have heard of Antonio Gramsci but they see the effects of his ideas every day: when a child leaves for school as a wide-eyed kid and returns a cynical atheist by Christmas; when network news is inexplicably leftist; when subversives in government or the military commit felonies and remain free or when Christians feel abandoned by church leadership and policies for following Christ’s teachings. And, according to plan, Communism has flowered in the U.S. when we aren’t free to speak our minds for fear of severe consequences against our person or livelihoods; “Socialists” like Bernie Sanders or Barack Obama or Pete Buttigieg, etc. are considered valid national leaders; powerful and corrupt felonious fellow-travelers preach socialism in the guise of global warming and yet travel in private jets to their dachas in The Hamptons or Martha’s Vineyard or Malibu; allow subversion within our country by criminal foreign invaders; drive governmental power, schools and the press to use citizen fellow-travelers to agitate for gun confiscation, atheism, murder, anarchy, etc. It is all exhausting to contemplate and list which is a marker of how far advanced a failed nihilistic and thoroughly un-American idea has advanced right here in America. English Departments may be hotbeds of communistic subversion but psychology departments are doing their bit by teaching that suspicion towards and hatred for one’s own background and family is a key the happiness.

Back in the 60's I took a a couple of Poli-Sci courses as an elective at a local liberal college that originated from Sweden. What an eye opener it was. I remember hearing the buzz talk from other students about how everything in this country was wrong. What! Coming from a traditional Republican family, hearing this bothered me. Then fast forward to to 2000 and living close to the University in Sacramento, I would occasionally while visit local cafe for lunch and would hear the same Marxist tripe as I did the 60's. This garbage was still out there germinating young minds in colleges and schools across this country. My idea of higher education has been warped with the transformation of once good schools into breeding grounds for hate and descent for this country. Pete Buttigieg who has this same DNA as his notorious Marxist father is definitely a Red Diaper Baby and no moderate. I've often thought, who the hell does he think he is to think he can run this country. Like Obama, the community organizer, he's another smooth talker. The same goes for AOC and her nasty girl friends. They all need to be humbled and defeated.

All of us need to stop immediately calling this moron "Mayor Pete" ... it's an honor he no longer has as of January 1, 2020. He's "Ex-mayor Pete". There is a NEW mayor in Bend Over, Indiana ... sorry, its now back to South Bend. True, the new guy was Pete's chief of staff and I feel sorry for those people out there but Bhudda-jug is no longer a mayor ... anywhere, in any city. My main reasons for opposing this dope are three-fold: 1) He's a dyed in the wool Communist, 2) He's an inexperienced jerk with HUGE ego issues and 3) He has polluted the discourse on the Bible generally --- and the Christian ethic specifically --- by lying that the Bible says "life begins for a baby only after it takes its first breath" (maybe the Hindus believe that??) and that God "created gay people because He loves them". No ... you became gay on your own, sonny, (perhaps even by circumstances beyond your control) but God didn't make anyone a specific way, good or bad. He gave everyone free will. God puts no holy imprimatur on "gay-ism". Don't like your lot in life and/or who you are? Then change it!

A disingenuous one at that. I have noticed he has stopped bragging about his lifestyle now. So it was no surprise that the Iowa voter had a meltdown after finding out she had been sold a bill of phony goods by Petey. If his lifestyle is as normal as they say it is in the Leftist community, why is he so ashamed of it, and why is he now hiding it from the voters? His legal troubles in his teen years should also disqualify him as well. He is trying to pull and Obama, and sell us a phony bill of goods, a vile wolf in sheep's clothing. We know what he is.

Excellent and important. Glad this is in Must Reads and ought to remain for at least another day, since Butti is still too much in the race. #6's comment is also excellent. Some think Buttigieg is just young, or silly or a "dope" or "idiot" as someone said, but he is not. We disarm ourselves if we think that. He's clever, has huge money behind him, and thinks he has the "deflector shield" (from Star Trek) of being "homosexual" around him like Obama used race.

Who cares? Unless the media suddenly decides to actually show what socialism/communism is, millions of stupid American voters will or would vote for him. They are too lazy, emotional and flat out dumb to understand what they would be throwing away. You sit by and watch demonic tyrants take over education and media for 50 years and this is what you get. A population that has the most freedom and wealth ever imagined in human history and they would toss it away because they can't read a liar when they see one. We are swiftly returning to the Revolutionary period where 1/3 of the population did all the fighting and dying for the opportunities of the 2/3rds who sided with the enemy or were too lazy, cowardly or stupid to contribute anything useful for the freedoms they now take for granted.

Why Wasn’t Andrew McCabe Charged? 55 replies

The Justice Department announced Friday that it is closing its investigation of Andrew McCabe, the FBI’s former deputy director, over his false statements to investigators probing an unauthorized leak that McCabe had orchestrated. McCabe was fired in March 2018, shortly after a blistering Justice Department inspector general (IG) report concluded that he repeatedly and blatantly lied — or, as the Bureau lexicon puts it, “lacked candor” — when questioned, including under oath. Why not indict McCabe on felony false-statements charges? That is the question being pressed by incensed Trump supporters. Michael Bloomberg’s campaign has leaked to the Drudge Report that Bloomberg is considering asking Hillary Clinton to be his running mate. This story doesn’t have much significance, on its face; the fact that a candidate is “considering” something isn’t exactly news. But it does reflect a few things: 1) I take it that Bloomberg is trying to beef up his bona fides as a “real” Democrat. It isn’t going to work: Democratic voters are not going to turn out for someone who endorsed George W. Bush in 2004 and enthusiastically advocated stop and frisk, among other heresies.

Rodrigo Duterte, the ever-unpredictable president of the Philippines, has given official notice to terminate the Visiting Forces Agreement that governs the presence of U.S. military personnel. Among other complaints, he said Americans were rude and failed to leave their weapons after conducting military exercises on the islands. The VFA will conclude in six months, which actually is great news. Although Americans always believed in continental expansion — even Thomas Jefferson spoke of an Empire of Liberty — “salt water imperialism” was alien to the nation’s founding. Proposals to turn America into a traditional colonial power by conquering foreign peoples generated strong opposition. After all, Americans had revolted against their British masters.

Back in November, we learned that disgraced former Baltimore Mayor Catherine Pugh had avoided a messy trial by pleading guilty to multiple counts of corruption and tax evasion. This all stemmed from her self-dealing scheme to “sell” hundreds of thousands of dollars worth of her self-published “Healthy Holly” children’s books to people and businesses who had dealings with the University of Maryland Medical System, where Pugh sat as a board member. At the time, I wondered what sort of deal she had cut with the prosecutors in exchange for the guilty plea. Whatever other information she provided to the state might not have turned out

Fifteen year’s later, the check is still in the mail. The Rev. Al Sharpton’s failed 2004 presidential campaign still owes more than $900,000. The unpaid debt of his committee, “Sharpton 2004,” has remained unchanged for a decade, according to its most recent FEC filing in March 2019. The campaign has not filed any of its required disclosure forms since then, earning multiple letters of rebuke from the feds. “If committees are unable to pay debts, they can file a debt-settlement plan with the FEC . . . committees could not just decide not to pay,” a spokesman from the Federal Election Commission told The Post.

President Trump gets credit — and takes heat — for many things, but many folks don’t even know about one of his best accomplishments: blocking the federal government’s power grab for control of America’s suburbs. During the Obama administration, the Department of Housing and Urban Development tried to install Washington bureaucrats as the decision makers for how communities across all 50 states should grow. Using an obscure rule called Affirmatively Furthering Fair Housing, HUD sought to remake America’s cities, towns and villages by forcing any community that was getting federal funds to meet racial quotas.

Now that as many as six serious Democratic candidates remain in the race, pundits increasingly believe the party is headed for a brokered convention. Hold on to your hats if that happens, because it’s even more complicated than it sounds. Presidential nominating conventions used to be “brokered” because the delegates were largely appointed by — and loyal to — political bosses. Delegates voted on multiple ballots as rivals vied for the bosses’ favor, making the quadrennial events the political equivalent of reality television. You could never be sure which governor or senator would be voted off the island and which would become the ultimate survivor.
