As once avid fans of movies*, all citizens today could consider themselves victims. *This includes crappy awards shows about those crappy movies.

The movie Midway is a great example,“This film is dedicated to the Americans and Japanese who fought at Midway.” During the movie they show a captured American hero being murdered by this Navy, who the movie is dedicated to and refer to the brutality of the Japanese toward the Chinese who helped Doolittle's raiders.

Hollyweird is another piece of the media conglomerate of the dems. They think that they can set an agenda but they have even less power to convince than the "reporting" media. People have to PAY to see movies and we "vote" with our pocketbook.

Movies used to be made on movie sets in Hollywood. Now they are global and take sets and crew and actors all over the world to film their movies. Has anyone ever checked the carbon footprint of movie making? They spend millions of dollars and use millionsof gallons of fuel to make movies today and yet, they stand up and tell us we need to cut back in order to save the planet. I saw today where one famous couple flew 500 miles for a Valentine dinner. They are the ones always telling us what we should do. Bunch of wealthy, classless, high school drop-out hypocrites!

A little off topic, but I have a question. Does anyone remember when a TV show or movie that involved good guys versus bad or corrupt guys portrayed the bad guys as liberals? Almost all shows now go out of their way to let you know the bad guy was/is a conservative, Republican or religious person.

Not interested in the crap that Hollyweird produces anymore. The only movies that my wife and I've seen in the past few years: We Will Not Grow Old and Unplanned, which are not typical "Hollywood" movies. Not interested in any way in the Marvel or Stars Wars franchise movies -- they bore us. Other than that, we prefer black-and-white classics.

Well, it's starting to become more clear why Greta Thunberg wanted to trademark her name. It turns out that BBC Studios is developing a TV show about Greta Thunberg. As of this writing, there is no release date, no number of episodes set, and no network attached. If there's no title yet, I think it should be called "Skipping School." But, we do have a series description courtesy of BBC Studios: The series will follow Greta’s international crusade, which takes her to the front line of climate change in some of the most extraordinary places on earth, as she explores what actions could be taken

The first Netflix film produced by former President Obama and Michelle Obama‘s production company won an award on Sunday during the Oscars and, while accepting the award, the filmmakers recited Karl Marx’s Communist manifesto. Julia Reichert of “American Factory” received the award and said: “Working people have it harder and harder these days – and we believe that things will get better when workers of the world unite.” The term “workers of the world unite,” comes directly from the communist manifesto and was widely noticed by media critics. On Friday, the Democrats in the Virginia legislature took the first step toward a sweeping gun ban and confiscation scheme that they plan to put into effect on July 1st. (Just in time for the 4th of July. How patriotic.) The House Public Safety Committee approved a ban on AK-47s and AR-15 style rifles, as well as all suppressors and magazines holding 12 rounds or more. There was a last-minute concession made to allow rifle owners to grandfather their weapons legally purchased before the ban goes into effect. There is no such grandfather clause for magazines or suppressors.

Barnes & Noble has suspended its plan to release “diverse editions” of classic novels for Black History Month after getting slammed on Twitter for “literary blackface.” The partnership between the company’s massive Fifth Avenue store and publisher Penguin Random House featured new jackets for a dozen classic novels — showing characters from books including “Romeo and Juliet,” “Moby Dick” and “Peter Pan” as people of color. But the bookseller canned the scheme after Twitter users railed against the plan.

President Trump has now been acquitted, but Democrats hope his impeachment will disgrace him “for life” and tilt the 2020 election. Don’t bet on it. Sen. Lindsey Graham has a better idea. Graham is proposing post-impeachment investigations by the Senate to “get to the bottom” of the Democrats’ impeachment hoax. That will pin the disgrace where it belongs — on the party that dragged the nation through an unwarranted ordeal. Many Republican senators and Vice President Mike Pence are brushing aside the idea of investigations, saying they want to “move on.” Not so fast.

Robbery is up almost 30% in New York City since the first of the year. Is this a statistical blip, a trend — or a New Year’s bail-reform gift from Albany, robbery now largely being a revolving-door offense in the Empire State? Time will tell, but consider this as well: According to the latest NYPD stats, the number of shooting victims in the city is up 31% since New Year’s Day — so at the very least Gotham appears to be off to a rocky 2020 compared to last year. Which should not surprise: Not only does government usually get more of what it encourages, when it comes to

Rogue NYPD officers are using a sketchy facial recognition software on their personal phones that the department’s own facial recognition unit doesn’t want to touch because of concerns about security and potential for abuse, The Post has learned. Clearview AI, which has scraped millions of photos from social media and other public sources for its facial recognition program — earning a cease-and-desist order from Twitter — has been pitching itself to law enforcement organizations across the country, including to the NYPD. The department’s facial recognition unit tried out the app in early 2019 as part of a complimentary 90-day trial but ultimately passed on it, citing a variety of concerns.

Political figures have long used their families to route power and benefits for their own self-enrichment. In my new book, “Profiles in Corruption: Abuse of Power by America’s Progressive Elite,” one particular politician — Joe Biden — emerges as the king of the sweetheart deal, with no less than five family members benefiting from his largesse, favorable access and powerful position for commercial gain. In Biden’s case, these deals include foreign partners and, in some cases, even U.S. taxpayer dollars. The Biden family’s apparent self-enrichment involves no less than five family members: Joe’s son Hunter, son-in-law Howard, brothers James and Frank, and sister Valerie.

Over the objections of the National Rifle Association, a state Senate panel Monday unanimously signed off on a far-reaching measure that would close the gun-show “loophole,” create a record-keeping system for private gun sales and set aside $5 million to establish a “statewide strategy for violence prevention.” The proposal (SB 7028) is a priority of Senate President Bill Galvano, R-Bradenton, as evidenced by the Senate Infrastructure and Security Committee’s consideration and passage of the measure the day before the 2020 legislative session begins. The sweeping legislation would require background checks and a three-day waiting period for firearms sold “on property to which the public has the

The Justice Department announced Friday that it is closing its investigation of Andrew McCabe, the FBI’s former deputy director, over his false statements to investigators probing an unauthorized leak that McCabe had orchestrated. McCabe was fired in March 2018, shortly after a blistering Justice Department inspector general (IG) report concluded that he repeatedly and blatantly lied — or, as the Bureau lexicon puts it, “lacked candor” — when questioned, including under oath. Why not indict McCabe on felony false-statements charges? That is the question being pressed by incensed Trump supporters. After all, the constitutional guarantee of equal justice under the law is supposed to mean
