Bless his heart. Democratic presidential candidate Mike Bloomberg was roasted on Twitter for his failed attempt at slinging Texas slang while pandering to voters in Houston. At the time, Bloomberg unconvincingly bragged that President Trump is scared of running against him. “Mini-Mike”– who looked so nervous that he’d worry the warts off a frog — made the claims while speaking to the Harris County Democratic Party. Bloomberg awkwardly stammered as he read off the teleprompter: “Now if I were from Texas, I might say Donald Trump is scared as a cat at the dog pound. But since I’m from New York, I’ll put it this way:

Pandering Mini-Mike ain't in no ways taaaard!!

Oh, and all of you who are squeamish or squirming because Donald Trump is talking about Mike Bloomberg's height, get over it. Mike Bloomberg's campaign is all about taking out Donald Trump and blasts him any time he can. When he can't even stand at a podium without a step stool lift, one wonders why he can't just be himself. If he is short, then please, be honest with people about your height.

After almost no actual interaction with We the People, Bloomberg has leapfrogged over Biden and Warren, and even Sanders, thanks to his blanketing America with his (totally disingenuous and/or vague) advertisements. I read that it was Bloomberg's 100 million dollar donation that emboldened Democrat Congressmen and women in Trump districts to vote for impeachment. Remember, even a million is a fortune in most congressional races. Americans do buy familiar brands, and Bloomberg is using his immense wealth so that his name, hazy promises and anti-Trump misinformation, become familiar to many millions of Americans. He has hired the slickest PR firms, the smartest tech gurus, even the leading meme makers on Instagram. This man and his money are a real menace to our republic. (There really was a down side to becoming so commercialized as a nation.) The fact that Bloomberg is an annoying and inept campaigner and is basically off-putting in person, may or may not ultimately come to hurt him. So far, he has done a pretty good job of staying hidden. He has such an enormous ego, I'm curious how his handlers have managed to convince him to mostly stay in the background and let his advertisements do the work.

Democrats just don't get it and it makes them look like idiots. Pandering is all they can do outside of their home territory of NY, Beltway, and Hollywood cocktail parties. Democrats (and most politicians and Beltway dwellers tbh) are an unadapted, highly specialized species that has to dissemble to survive. President Trump never panders. He is never fake. He sounds like a high powered business man everywhere because that is what he is. It's the content of his speeches that drives his support not some affected accent or fake folksy crap.

His ads are not convincing...they drive me crazy. I like to watch YouTube videos put out by Dan Bongino, Jerome Corsi, etc, Mike’s ads blast into them and don’t have a “skip ads’ button to push! His ads even blast into Timeline documentaries, vexing me to have to wait until I see his ugly face disappear. When I sense ‘rudeness,’ it turns me off. I feel his hypocrisy when I remember he used to be a Republican in office in NY. I lived in NY when he was mayor and he was nothing exceptional. In fact, he lived off the accomplishments of Rudy Giuliani, who really made a difference in NY. The stupidity of Mike’s limit of soda was scorned by all. He wouldn’t allow 16 oz plastic cups of soda to be sold! So people just bought two (2) 8 oz cups of coke, laughing all the way. They also went to places that had free refills! Even though he claimed to be a Republican, he acted like a Democrat and earned the title of ‘Nanny Mike.’

How about "scared as a long-tailed cat in a room full of rocking chairs"? The concern about Mayor Big-Gulp as a candidate is not whether he can fake sounding like a yokel, but his high-priced nanny-state policy proposals. He thinks that because he's rich, he's annointed to dictate to all of us how we are allowed to live.

DJT is not 'scared' of anyone, in my unhumble opinion. There was a telling moment during the 2016 campaign, where dJT was on stage, speaking, and a crazy man came rushing at him. instead of drawing away from the crazy man, DJT stepped towards him. that said more about DJT than any words could. the little fellow, Bloomberg, will continue to embarrass himself on the campaign trail. As for Sheila Jackson Lee, she went for her undergraduate degree at Yale. Yale, like many universities and colleges, has long ago abandoned academic standards for affirmative action admits..

In an extraordinary ruling, a state supreme court judge has ordered the developers of a nearly completed 668-foot block of flats in New York to remove as many as 20 or more floors from the top of the building. The decision is a major victory for community groups who opposed the project on the grounds that the developers used a zoning loophole to create the tallest building on the Upper West Side of Manhattan. A lawyer representing the project said the developers would appeal the decision. Justice W Franc Perry ordered that the Department of Buildings revoke the building permit for the tower at 200 Amsterdam Avenue

Ben Sasse, the bill’s lead co-sponsor, at a Senate Judiciary Committee hearing Tuesday. During the hearing, called “The Infant Patient: Ensuring Appropriate Medical Care for Children Born Alive,” Republican senators questioned why a baby born in a hospital should be treated differently than a baby born in an abortion facility. Democrats, lacking an answer, changed the subject. Thirteen committee senators heard from five female witnesses, three who shared powerful testimony and two who expressed concerns about the bill.

Democrats are vowing to repeal the GOP’s 2017 tax reform bill, starting with raising the corporate income tax. The Democrat-controlled House Ways and Means Committee recently held a hearing laying the groundwork for this tax increase, falsely claiming that the corporate rate was lowered at the expense of middle-class families. Reality belies this rhetoric. The corporate tax reduction from 35% to 21% has benefited families and workers alike by growing the economy, raising wages, and creating new jobs. It’s no coincidence that, in the two years since the tax cut, unemployment has dropped to a 50-year low.
