U.S. and U.K. Intelligence Agencies Worry
About John Durham – Scrutiny of CIA
Draws Media Apoplexy…

There was once a time, not that long ago, when the mainstream left was highly critical of the CIA, and scrutiny of dubious claims by U.S. intelligence was a common occurrence. Of course all of that changed when those same intelligence agencies were weaponized to target a political enemy that was also the enemy of the left, namely Donald Trump. (Snip)Using information from U.K. media, and looking closer at yesterday’s New York Times report about investigations of the CIA, in this outline we will explain where corrupt U.S. and U.K. interests merge; what specific action was taken, & why the mortar is crumbling.

FTA - quoted from the NYT: […] Mr. Durham has interviewed F.B.I. officials and agents who worked on the bureau’s Russia investigation, called Crossfire Hurricane, and for the special counsel who took over the inquiry, Robert S. Mueller III. They have also interviewed C.I.A. analysts. Mr. Durham and his team also interviewed around a half-dozen current and former officials and analysts at the National Security Agency, including its former director, the retired Adm. Michael S. Rogers, last summer and again last fall. The Intercept first reported the interviews of Admiral Rogers. But Mr. Durham has not interviewed the former F.B.I. director James B. Comey, his onetime deputy Andrew G. McCabe or Mr. Brennan. Mr. Durham has requested Mr. Brennan’s emails, call logs and other documents from the C.I.A. to learn what he told other officials, including Mr. Comey, about his and the C.I.A.’s views of a notorious dossier of assertions about Russia and Trump associates. (NYT Link) We were informed some time ago that Durham’s “interviewers” are prosecutors...

After browsing through CT's piece, it is very easy to understand why AG Barr and Durham are taking so much time to put the pieces together. And it is no coincidence that AG Barr is suddenly under the msm's and dims' microscope in an attempt to discredit him and slow down his progress on the Spygate criminal investigation. The dims spying operation on Trump's campaign and the dims'/msms' subsequent coverup are big...real big and spans the globe. But, always the impatient one, I'd like to see some indictments and prison terms handed out.

The mythology - apparently accepted and amplified by all in DC - surrounding big investigations always rankles. 1) We are told that in order to go after the big fish that all details must be documented and the case airtight. Why? They have as much to lose as anyone. Get one of them to confess, flip, cooperate, etc. and you can level the house without having to it brick by brick. 2) We are also told that going after small fry will allow the big fish to escape. Again, I don't buy it. First of all, if people have broken the law - especially government employees doing political dirty work on our dime - every last one should be prosecuted. At the very least they should lose pension & benefits and must be ineligible for life for government employment. Getting the small fry proves the prosecutors are serious and meticulous - the big fish are going nowhere. There's only one DC (thank God) - where else can overpaid coat holders go? 3) We are told that national security considerations require the vetting and redacting of all documents. This is a charter to cheat, conceal, destroy evidence. Declassify them and vetting is obviated. 4) The swamp protects its own even when they're guilty as sin. Even the prosecutors talk about hardworking bureaucrat XYZ blah blah blah. I'm not interested in their high opinion of themselves and others. Seriously - when was the last time a proper courtroom trial of a dirty pol or appointed official was held? DC's a big place. Millions of government types and contractors. There are trials everyday everywhere for jaywalking up to murder yet the courts in DC seem to consist of judges doing nothing but issuing injunctions and subpoenas. This isn't a justice system.

#2,EtAl- The integrity, articulation, intuition, and ability to analyze--to connect the dots--of Rush Limbaugh, due to his true “gift on loan from God,” have been respected by a vast number of patriotic Americans with high moral standards. During Rush’s radio program on December 10, 2019, he explained a theory he has about what Attorney General Barr and U. S. Attorney John Durham are doing; the transcript of that program is well worth reading and too vast to cover in a poster comment. Rush said he envisions action “reaching an important watershed perhaps in the late spring, early summer.” That they have taken on the most powerful people in the world—not just the United States--people who would like to see the USA cut down to size and simply one of many members in a massive global arrangement. Rush contends that AG Barr knows what he is doing; that he has “battened down, he knows exactly what these people did—and the people who did it know he knows what they did. Rush’s concluding statement: “And it is why it’s all gonna blow up on ‘em and is in the process of doing that now. You wait.”

# 17 makes a good point. I believe that a few weeks ago Barr said that his investigation would go on until sometime in the summer. We have no choice but to ride with that. He is an old pro and knows what he is doing. Our frustration and impatience are very understandable, but playing [bleep]house lawyer may be the oldest (non-paying) profession.

Message to the media. Do not worry one bit. Absolutely nothing will come of this "white wash". Let not your heart be troubled so goes the old Irish proverb. Wonder if any of the 99 percent of "honorable" FBI agents will come forth? I doubt it and anyone who still thinks that law enforcement and the military will not carry out orders against law abiding American citizens is a fool. That's as in all orders. They have pensions to protect.

In a wide-ranging interview with CNN’s Christiane Amanpour, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky referred to the impeachment of President Donald Trump as a television series, specifically citing the soap operas “Santa Barbara” and “Dallas.” Throwing cold water on what Democrats alleged to be a pressure campaign on Zelensky and his government, the Ukrainian president also said he looks forward to his next conversation with Trump and hopes to visit the White House. Zelensky did bristle when asked about corruption in Ukraine, asking President Trump to stop referring to his country as one of the most corrupt in the world. But he did acknowledge that in the past, Ukraine has suffered under great
