#Trump2020Landslide – By the Numbers

Original Article

A popular Twitter hashtag is #Trump2020Landslide. Is this wishful thinking or a real possibility? Let’s look at the electoral landscape over the next 9 months. As an initial caveat, understand the difference between confidence and overconfidence. The former is a realistic expectation going forward of favorable electoral winds based on a thoughtful analysis. The latter is thoughtless and dangerous based on emotion and desire, rather than data and realism. Republicans learned this lesson during the George HW Bush presidency. Bush enjoyed an 89 percent Gallup job approval in February 1991 after US victory in the Persian Gulf War. A little over a year later the bottom fell out

Articles like this one scare me a little. I am worried that they may lead Conservative voters to be complacent, to stay home on election day because "my vote isn't really needed" or "my vote won't count anyway or really change results." The leftists are going to vote en masse for whomever has a D after their name. Conservatives absolutely MUST get out the vote as well, in numbers strong enough and loud enough to overcome any cheating or protestations of "foreign interference."

If Red Bernie gets the nomination I think it will be similar to 1972. At that time Nixon wasn't even personally popular, the Vietnam war was still dragging on, the economy was just 'OK', and Democrats managed to lose 49 states.

Great article with lots of summary info. A realistic and positive view of the landscape. A good summary outlook, "Be confident but not complacent". Also, be joyous! A likely landslide win will probably also win the House and hold the Senate. Nasty Pelousy, Schiffty, and Nadless will be swept out of power and we will have a better chance to get laws passed than any time in Trump's presidency. It is unlikely RBG will hold on another 5 years and we will get a solidly law following SCOTUS. Plus the rest of the federal judiciary will continue to trend in the same direction. In addition, with Trump reelected, the global problems will be under enormous pressure to resolve themselves. Trump has placed crushing pressure on Iran. They cannot hold out another 4 years. The EU will also face continued steering pressures. The proposed peace accord for Israel will get a solid hearing. China will be back at the negotiation table in a weak position. There is a lot to look forward to and THAT should be a clarion call to work our butts off to accomplish it. The opportunity is the greatest it has been in many generations.

Mitt is getting his stuff together. His vote to convict PDT is the latest example of his separating himself from the "conservative" GOP. He will announce a "moderate" third-party campaign when the time comes, may even have a "moderate Dem" running mate to make it "bi-partisan". None of these analysis pieces gives any credence or thought to what could happen in a three-way Trump - Rad Dem - Romney race. Last time such a thing ran off a "victorious" President with an 89 percent approval rate less than a year before the election.

Don't get complacent. This could still be lost. Everyone needs to work hard on this project and make it come to fruition in November.

Based on turnout at President Trump's rallies, I don't think many Republicans will be staying home in November. However, I will encourage everyone I know (including democrats!) to get out and vote for President Trump!

This is exactly how the rats felt about Trump. Don't be shocked if it all goes away. Look around the Deep State hasn't lost a thing. The principal, obvious, caught on tape, traitors don't have a scratch on them. Read the comments of the deeply brainwashed idiot voters and they don't care how heavy the oppressors boot is, because they think they will never suffer under it. Register, support and vote, but don't be surprised if history asks for a lot more from you in the next year or so.

The Born-Alive Survivors Protection Act is not about restricting abortions but about giving newborns a chance to survive no matter where they are born, said Sen. Ben Sasse, the bill’s lead co-sponsor, at a Senate Judiciary Committee hearing Tuesday. During the hearing, called “The Infant Patient: Ensuring Appropriate Medical Care for Children Born Alive,” Republican senators questioned why a baby born in a hospital should be treated differently than a baby born in an abortion facility. Democrats, lacking an answer, changed the subject. Thirteen committee senators heard from five female witnesses, three who shared powerful testimony and two who expressed concerns about the bill.

Bless his heart. Democratic presidential candidate Mike Bloomberg was roasted on Twitter for his failed attempt at slinging Texas slang while pandering to voters in Houston. At the time, Bloomberg unconvincingly bragged that President Trump is scared of running against him. “Mini-Mike”– who looked so nervous that he’d worry the warts off a frog — made the claims while speaking to the Harris County Democratic Party. Bloomberg awkwardly stammered as he read off the teleprompter: “Now if I were from Texas, I might say Donald Trump is scared as a cat at the dog pound. They also asked God to protect and strengthen him for the battles that lie ahead. “Holy Father, we thank you so much for this evening. We thank you for this man of God.

Trump War Room, a Twitter account managed by President Donald Trump’s campaign, has taken aim at Democrat presidential hopefuls with the release of a series of Valentine’s Day cards that mock certain campaign flaws and mishaps. Those targeted by the Trump campaign include former Vice President Joe Biden, Sen. Amy Klobuchar (D-MN), former South Bend Mayor Pete Buttigieg, Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-MA), Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-VT), and former New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg. “Send your loved ones a Valentine from Team Trump,” the campaign wrote in a tweet. “Featuring your favorite soon-to-be EX (presidential candidates).”

Joe Biden has managed to go from runaway frontrunner for the Democratic nomination to persona non grata in a matter of weeks, and now top Democrat donors are calling on him to end his campaign and let Mike Bloomberg try to fix the chaos that has been made of the Democratic primaries. Biden was in New York City Thursday night with deep-pocketed liberal donors hoping to raise some quick cash to save his campaign, but it might be too late as Bloomberg seems ready to swoop in and siphon away Biden's support from the so-called moderate wing of the party. “I feel sorry for Biden,” said Leon Cooperman,

Democrats are vowing to repeal the GOP’s 2017 tax reform bill, starting with raising the corporate income tax. The Democrat-controlled House Ways and Means Committee recently held a hearing laying the groundwork for this tax increase, falsely claiming that the corporate rate was lowered at the expense of middle-class families. Reality belies this rhetoric. The corporate tax reduction from 35% to 21% has benefited families and workers alike by growing the economy, raising wages, and creating new jobs. It’s no coincidence that, in the two years since the tax cut, unemployment has dropped to a 50-year low.

But one thing seems almost certain: U.S. Attorney John Durham is wrapping up his investigation into the origins of the Russia collusion probe because the same narrative machine that kicked in to give us impeachment has now demanded that Barr testify in front of the House Judiciary Committee in March. And he’s agreed. It stems from the absurd sentencing recommendation from some federal prosecutors

Now that as many as six serious Democratic candidates remain in the race, pundits increasingly believe the party is headed for a brokered convention. Hold on to your hats if that happens, because it’s even more complicated than it sounds. Presidential nominating conventions used to be “brokered” because the delegates were largely appointed by — and loyal to — political bosses. Delegates voted on multiple ballots as rivals vied for the bosses’ favor, making the quadrennial events the political equivalent of reality television. You could never be sure which governor or senator would be voted off the island and which would become the ultimate survivor.
